They had what was needed for my boss's truck. They didn't give me any hassle and very great prices. My only hope is that they can expand with more inventory in a few years. I will be back again as a first option for used parts.
* Found a car posted on their site July 4th. Called July 7th to see if they still had taillights. He assured me they did. I shared with him I was driving hour and half but would be there before they closed.
* I get there and introdiced myself as the guy who drove the hour and half to get the talilight. Was gonnna buy both.
* Both taillights were gone from the car. All he says "He knew they didn't sell them." I thought they might have been put on a shelf.
* No appology for the inconvenience inconvenience...nothing. Just left me standing at the window.
* I have several cars I was gonna bring more business their way but NOT AFTER THAT. WHAT WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS.
* I wouldn't give the 1 star but site won't let me post my review.
* SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND TIME and find another source for your car parts. STAY CLEAR OF Wangelin's Auto.
I contacted Wangelin's about needing a hood for my Jeep. The friendly staff promptly responded about the condition and availability. The yard was well stocked and easy to find what I needed. I will be returning again in the future!
Very bad experience
We talked about a car and told him im coming from des moines he told me ok they would hold until 4:00 pm. 45 mins into the drive he tells me his salesman sold the vehicle They are very unprofessional and unreliable.
These are the nicest people I've ever dealt with I actually took my grandson down there to purchase a vehicle vehicle they were most helpful answered all my questions I would definitely recommend them for everything car related.
I went to get a used battery on Jan 30, and the cold cranking amps were bad, so I took it back today, Feb 6th. The guy I talked to today around 11 am. was not very courteous he was actually kind of rude. He said this battery is perfect, so if there's anything wrong with it, it's on you and don't bring the battery back.

Our car was supposed to be picked up today (as a carrier for Peddle) between 7-11 so I took the day off from work. At 8:20 I received a text message stating that they had cancelled the pick up. I had to call to find out why and an unfriendly woman who clearly hates her job said it was because I hadn't called back yesterday "to get a time". I will attach a transcript of the message they had left yesterday on my phone, nowhere in the message does it say that I was required to call back to CONFIRM a time for the pick-up. I was in Seattle, WA so I was sleeping when they had called yesterday due to the time difference. I did call back later but was put through to leave a voicemail (which seemed useless to me, a VM wouldn't give me a time). I had thought I would try again but had a FULL day of traveling with a rental car and flying. I wasn't worried though because I had already set up and AGREED to a pick up time of 7-11am. This morning Peddle had texted a reminder to be ready for my pick up, which I was. But Wangelin took it upon themselves to cancel it because I didn't call to get the "exact time roughly of when we'll be there to pick it up". When I did ask for it to still be picked up (because again, I took the day off from work) she stated that they didn't have any available time to do it. Very poor way of doing business. If you require a call back, kindly STATE that in your message. And nowhere in the Peddle paperwork does it state this is required. I had already agreed to the pick up time window. Thanks for ruining my streak of only giving positive 5-star reviews, Wangelin.
Spectacular service! We had an older car that needed to much work to fix up and sell so we sold to Wangelin's for cash. The car was picked up 30 minutes later and I had cash in hand. Thanks Matt, much appreciated!! Check these guys out ASAP, your won't be disappointed!
Friendly service willing to work with you, decent yard full of vehicles, staff are always willing to look up and see what they exactly got to help you out.
Polite and professional, reasonably priced and a good selection of older vehicles. It's nice to have another pick-n-pull kind of salvage yard around the QC, not many around and if they are they're usually plucked clean
Call the day before I showed up to make sure that it was all right if I was in the yard past 4:30 a little, because I was showing up about 4:15 and their website clearly says closes at 4:30. but I get there at 4:12 and they say they're closed and their offices only open till 4:30 which makes no sense to me, drove over an hour for a part even talked to the owner saying that I could pull parts past 4:30 and the office lady kicked me out
