These guys saved my butt. Had a wheel that was cracked on the inner barrel and couldn't find another matching wheel anywhere. They welded and fixed the leak in a few hours. Audrey was incredibly professional and helpful along the way. Can't recommend this shop enough. I'll be back!

Audrey and her team were INCREDIBLE to work with. My husband slid into a curb & my car had extensive damage. Once the dealership fixed most of the damage and replaced my tires, they recommended Audrey and Des Moines Wheel Repair to fix my rim. Unfortunately my rim was not repairable, but Audrey gave me multiple solutions and was transparent with pricing for each. We received same day service and reasonable pricing. I would recommend Des Moines Wheel Repair to everyone.
Magicians at Des Moines Wheel Repair made a harsh curb check disappear entirely. I would include after photos but you can’t tell where the damage was, even in person. I wouldn’t know if I was even photographing a wheel that had been repaired. I have inspected all wheels meticulously, and I cannot tell which were damaged, let alone where. I had new tires put on too so the wheels could have been rotated; I truly can’t tell. $300 to fix both wheels. Much cheaper than replacing with new OEM Acura wheels. Even used ones on eBay in good condition are much more than that.
Had my rim bend on me while driving and was recommended here by Goodyear. Audrey came out and had a look. She said they could repair it and would take a day at the latest which was perfect since I was a walk in I was expecting a wait. I got a call from Audrey 10 minutes later saying my rim was ready for pick up! Thank you Des Moines Wheel Repair for your time and amazing service!
DMWR did an excellent job mounting four new tires and repainting all four rims on my 2017 Silverado! Not a mark on the rims or tires and done exactly as we agreed upon. I trust no one else. This is the second time I have used them without error. Great company.

Was on my way from Minneapolis to Texas. My back tire started to lose air. Stopped at a tire place they looked and said it was a bent rim. They put back on for me and I found myself halfway in the trip with my tire continuing to leak air because of the rim. I was passing by right at closing time when I called in and they were so awesome they let me stop in and helped me get back on the road!!!!! Such a blessing and relief. Thank you! They stayed an hour after and no more stops for air!
Showing pictures describing the situation, not surprised ? with their job and customer treatment, as I can see how YouTube videos repairing their wheels way better, especially when you have a expensive wheel and almost 300$ cost of that crack repair; wait, they’re charging you for your credit card fee?! Yes they do?
I’ve had multiple sets of wheels repaired here and I’m always delighted with the way they turn out how fast the work is done and how nice Mike and his guys are to deal with. Going back tomorrow with another set of four to have them fixed up and I’m sure they’ll look great.
Brought in a wheel from my 2013 Accord due to a bad curb rash. The guys at Des Moines Wheel Repair did everything they could and only were able to get it 90% fixed. The other 10% was due to a manufacturing defect from Honda. Even though I wasn't 100% satisfied with the way it turned out, they were willing to repaint all of my wheels at a discount.

I bought some rare Mercedes S600 monoblocks on eBay and they were in worse shape than I had hoped, but Des Moines Wheel Repair got them looking brand new again! I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to my cars, and DSM Wheel Repair exceeded all my expectations. Very very happy with the wheels I had refinished for my Mustang. They had 22 years worth of damage and neglect but now they look brand new! The price was good for my wheels and they had them done in 2 days. I will definitely bring wheels here in the future and refer Des Moines Wheel Repair to everyone I can.
I highly recommend this company. They were fast and reasonably priced. And I didn't have to break down my wheels and tires for powder coating. They did a great job!
Mike and his team were fantastic. Incredible customer service, friendly and fast - went above and beyond my expectations. I was about to go on a trip and took a leaking tire to a local tire shop for repair. They told me I had a curb strike that bent the wheel and that I would need a new one. OEM wheel would cost a fortune or I could buy a non-matching wheel. I asked around and they said DSM Wheel Repair might be able to help. Boy did they ever. They handled the wheel repair the same day. Fixed the bent wheel, rebalanced, re-installed and made sure the spare tire and all the tools/jack were put back properly. Pricing was fair and with the amazing customer service, I'm considering having them recoat all my wheels back to OEM specs. I look forward to working with them again.
My 2006 350Z convertible looked like a brand new car with one exception, the OEM wheels had curb rash to varying degrees. Dropped off the car in early afternoon and the next morning at 9 told it was ready for pickup. I'm not easily impressed but when I got there I and looked over every wheel I would have sworn that they put on brand new ones. The cost vs quality of work was very reasonable especially compared to replacing your wheels. The people were a pleasure to deal with and I HIGHLY recommend them.
We ran over a screw at Home Depot and the tire started leaking. We stopped by DSM Wheel Repair after hours and he kindly helped us. I didn't catch his name but it took him <10 minutes. We are very thankful.
Charged me more to fix a rim than it cost me for a new one. On top of that, they lost my locking lug nut key and then denied losing it. I drove all the way back up there for them to still say they didnt lose it. They ended up switching out the lug nuts for another set after arguing with me on why I even want them on there in the first place. They come standard on my car. The whole experience was annoying. The only reason I had looked to make sure the lug nut key was in there is because it someone else had forgotten to put it back before too.... now I check any time I get work done BEFORE I leave.
Asked for silver or close as you can to chrome, was told they could do that, see the finished product it's gray, ?, work already done really didn't want to pay for what I didn't get but didn't want to cheat workers out of their earned money, expressed to them that's not what I asked for, but I still paid the FULL price they quoted me. The work although what was done is nothing great but it is ok for what it is, everyone seemed pretty friendly but I myself will not be going back and definitely can't recommend this place especially spending 745 for something I did not want.
Brought in some old rims that had bad curb rash and looked terrible. I talked with Mike about how much it would cost to get them refinished and he gave me a couple estimates so I decided to bring them in. When I picked them up, they looked amazing! They got them done quickly and they look brand new! Highly recommend!
Terrible quality work with no attention to detail. If you hand wash your car or care about it at all avoid this place like the plague. I took in a set of wheels to have curb rash fixed and came out worse than before. The curb rash was repaired but the wheels were underpainted and had obvious drip marks/fading on the inside of the spokes. Additionally, the barrel of the wheels were gouged by a tire machine after I was told they just deflated the tires to do the work and left them on the rims. Don't waste your time here. Spend the extra money to send your wheels out and be redone properly.
They were not able to fix my rims, but the damage was so bad that noone could. The people were friendly and pointed out some valuable parts that I could remove and sell before dumping the rims for scrap value. I'd definitely go back here if I needed some cosmetic work done on my wheels.
Mike jones and crew did an amazing job refinishing our wheels. They had curb rash and had been damaged while having tires mounted and they literally look brand new. Couldn't be happier! The whole staff was very friendly and professional as well.
These guys are awesome; Mike, the owner, is a solid guy, and his team are all super cool. I had them refinish a set of aluminum rims that were on a high-end SUV. To replace the rims, it was would have literally cost me right at $2400. -- I saved $1800 or so, and the wheels look awesome.
