I don’t usually think of an auto parts store as a place that inspires a great review, but my experience at O’Reilly’s absolutely did. The young gentleman working the counter was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He helped me find exactly the parts I needed and even took the time to share some helpful tips and tricks for when I install them. He was patient, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I felt confident about the purchases. If all auto parts runs were like this, I might start enjoying them.
It’s one thing to interrupt a customer while they’re asking a question not once but twice. But it’s a whole other problem when they have no clue what they’re talking about, blatantly saying incorrect information like “all oil is the same under operating temperature” (what do the last 2 digit in oil mean again??? That’s right it’s for operating temp) will not be coming back.
They did scan my engine code with the device but just gave me the print out and walked away with no additional help or guidance. Do not come here if you want decent customer service.
This is one of the best stores I’ve been to in a long while! Griffin helped me and my cousin out by helping us find a light for our van. With a a cute smile, he delivered by finding what we needed very quick! He is such a great worker and deserves a raise.
I applaud whoever at the Toyota place in Grimes suggested to me ( I’m clueless about cars btw that )I could perhaps buy my two filters for my car at a place like O’Reillys ( about a mile away ) in Grimes so that’s what I did recently. What I love about grimes is that a big part of it is so new. This store is very new. The guys were nice and laid back and helped me get what I needed. However I had no idea how to install the filters but luckily had help from
someone who did. Thx.
Refused to test my battery, I really needed to know something because it was important. I called ahead to see if they did and they said yes. Drove an hour to just have them say no. And my vehicle is a 2019.
My windshield wiper arm bar was very loose on one side. Guy at counter at grimes location wouldn’t even walk out to my car to see if something was just loose or if I needed to go to dealership. Will NEVER go to that store for anything, just a waste of time. BTW, bolt was just loose & dealer fixed it for free within 5 mins!
When it comes to asking someone questions about your Auto repair needs they seem to know quite a bit about what they're doing and it's a fair price they go out of their way above and beyond any of the other auto parts stores
Times of business is not correct. It’s Monday and they closed at 7pm not 9 according to the website. I don’t want to give a bad rating because google isn’t updated but it is a huge inconvenience.
The A/C was not performing. Stopped in to the Grimes store and they hooked me up with a fix and even took the time to walk me through the repair process and now I've got ice cold AC again for under 50 bucks! Thank you!
Ignorant staff, dirty clothed workers, unprofessional, and trash talk other auto supply companies. Very disappointed and won’t be returning to this location.
This is a relatively new store. Staff seems friendly and knowledgeable. I have gotten hung up here with some supply chain shortages, but what store hasn't had a product or 2 become much harder to get.
