These guys are amazing. They found the root of the issue with my Pathfinder and gave me updates every step of the way. Very transparent with all of their work. The mechanic took time to answer anything I had to ask and offered me various paths of action for repairs. It's refreshing to find such honest professionals. I will highly recommend this place to anyone.

Highly recommend Midwest auto. Matt and his team looked to find what needs to be repaired/replaced on our Murano. They test drove it after they worked on my vehicle to make sure it is fixed. Matt updated me with costs and when the vehicle was ready.

I started going here after my father-in-law so strongly recommended it. After seven years of having my three vehicles serviced, I can’t recommend this place enough. Matt and his father are always so kind and helpful and knowledgeable. I trust them with my vehicle and every time I go in there, I feel like I have gotten the best service at the best price. This auto shop is an absolute joke. Every time I took my cars in, they somehow managed to screw things up even more. Problems kept coming back within months, and whenever I went back to get it fixed, they’d either deny responsibility or come up with new issues to charge me for. One time, they blatantly lied about my car’s condition, claiming it needed thousands in repairs and suggesting I just scrap it. Turns out, the new owner fixed it with a few quick adjustments. This place is either incompetent or straight-up dishonest. Avoid at all costs.

I had a very disappointing experience with this auto shop. Each time I brought in my cars for repairs, the issues seemed to reoccur within a few months. Whenever I returned, the problems were not resolved, and additional issues would arise. At one point, I was misled about the condition of my car and told it required thousands of dollars in repairs, and I was advised to consider letting it go. However, the new owner fixed it with just a few quick adjustments. I strongly caution others to be careful when choosing this shop for vehicle repairs.

WARNING!! I purchased an Audi from Matt who led me to believe that this car had a lot of service done and was mechanically in excellent condition. After a couple weeks of negotiation we landed on $18,500 plus $800 in shipping to get the car to me. Upon arrival of the vehicle, I immediately called him with concerns that they had delivered the wrong vehicle. Upon inspection exterior body panels were not aligned, interior body panels were hanging or attached with Velcro. There was leftover food and children’s toys in the car. I called him and he immediately said it must’ve been a delivery guy because he has never delivered a car in that condition. After approximately 50 to 80 miles, I noticed two check engine lights and the vehicle went into “limp mode“ I immediately called Matt again to which he stated he was unfamiliar with that and sent me a list of the work that he had done. I then took it to a mechanic who found more than $13,000 worth of critical repairs that needed to be done to make this vehicle roadworthy. I called Matt again who offered to buy the car back at $12,000 if I paid the shipping to get it back to him and then he would repair it and sell it to someone else I took the car for a second opinion at another mechanic shop who found additional critical problems, such as complete separation of motor mounts with the engine moving upon acceleration. I contacted Matt again and he offered $15,000 and I requested that we meet at $17,500 and he pay shipping because of all the money that I had incurred. Remind you, this is within a two week timeframe. I then sent a demand letter to him to which there was no response via text, email, or phone number. I encourage you to look at the pictures below

I had a great experience with Midwest Motors. I was looking for a truck and they had one that fit my needs and budget. I met with Matt who was friendly and honest. He let me know about the vehicle I was interested in. We drove it and talked and when we were back, talked out a deal we were both satisfied with. He completed the paperwork and explained what everything was I was signing. No tricks, no lies, no disrespect. Quite the opposite. I wouldn't hesitated to direct friends to buy a vehicle at Midwest Motors-Grimes. Thanks Matt

My posts on my wheel hub sheared off. They fixed this quickly and even rotated my tires because they were worn unevenly. Great service for a great price. I would recommend them to anyone!

Tonight I purchased a 2012 Toyota 4Runner and could not be more satisfied! Matt was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in the process. Everything went smooth and he made sure to go over all of my questions! I could definitely see myself being a repeat buyer in the future and recommend this location!

Matt was super helpful with going through the process of buying/trading in my car. He answered all my questions, and offered help in any way he could even if it may have not benefited him. Overall was the best experience I have ever had with purchasing a vehicle. I would make the 4 hour drive over and over again if it meant getting a trustworthy vehicle backed by Matt and his team.

Paid these guys to diagnose two different problems on my truck. First one was the ac which they said they fixed, I picked it up and it didn’t work. Told me that I only paid for a diagnosis which I understood but all they said was the ac doesn’t work. That’s exactly what I said when I brought the vehicle in, I would’ve liked to know where at in the system it wasn’t working. Basically paid $180 for them to repeat the same thing back to me that I said when I dropped the truck off. Second one they were diagnosing a miss fire, told me ignition coil #8. I had them do the replacement and that obviously wasn’t the problem because the truck still miss fires and the same codes show up. Mechanics shouldn’t guess on what’s broken they should know exactly where the problem is. The worst part is as the mechanic got back with my truck and still had the scan tool connected, I asked so is the misfire gone and he said yep it’s all fixed. I could tell right when I turned the vehicle on there was no change. Especially with the scan tool still connected he could see the problem wasn’t fixed. This is a business vehicle and I was in a rush so I didn’t feel like waiting around for them to deal with it just so they can charge me more money. Nice guys but for how much they charge your better off going somewhere else.

Wow!! Matt and his team are Amazing to work with . The communication and customer service is above and beyond any dealership / auto repair shop that I have ever worked with . The knowledge they have of all cars is impressive. I truly felt taken care of and that it was one of their family members cars they were working on. To trust that everything was done correctly and right the first time gives me so much peace of mind . I would highly recommend Midwest Auto Care/ Motors to anyone !!

I purchased a vehicle from Matt's business after first seeing it on-line. He had it in his shop upon my arrival so I could inspect it indoors out of the weather. He was patient and helpful while I took my time to inspect it as thoroughly as possible. We did a short test drive and completed the deal. I found him to be professional and pleasant to work with.

My car wouldn't start at my office and I figured it was the battery. No big deal, right? Well, unfortunately my car requires removing the tire and wheel-well cover to access the battery. More than I was wanting to do on my own. I googled repair shops "near me" and found Midwest Auto Care. I'm super glad I did! Matt answered the phone and was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Not only did he price out the amount of labor, he gave me several options to choose for the battery. Once I was able to get the vehicle jumped and to their location, my check engine light was on. I told Matt when I dropped it off that was a "new issue". They also checked that for me and thankfully it was just related to the battery having low voltage, but they didn't charge me an extra diagnostic fee just to see what it was. I'm so appreciative especially as a female to have a shop that was up front with pricing and didn't try to get me to buy things I didn't need. They were fast and able to get my vehicle in and repaired all in the same day. I have finally found a repair shop that I feel will treat me right going forward. They have earned me as a customer and I will be recommending them to others :-)

Purchased my vehicle from Midwest Motors in February. They had it all warm and defrosted. Matt made an extra effort to find a bank willing/able to finance the '07. They let me bring in my own part for them to install. The labor costs were more than fair considering it did end up being more of a hassle than we originally anticipated. Matt is friendly and considerate of your time. I haven't been forced to wait weeks for an appointment, they have made an effort to work with my schedule and get me in asap. The waiting room is comfortable and clean. I will be going to Midwest auto care for my future updates and maintenance on my vehicle.

Called Midwest Auto Care today because my check engine light was on. Matt got me in right away and was able to manage the necessary repairs at once. Matt thoroughly explained why my light was on and laid out my options for me. He and his staff were extremely friendly, they even drove me back to work while I waited for my F-150 to get serviced. Matt told me they are moving close by into a larger building and will be able to service more customers at a time. I would recommend working with Midwest Auto Care to anyone!

I've been using Midwest Auto Care for the past few years and have always had a good experience. Matt responds to questions in a timely manner and works quickly to get you in for an appointment. I appreciate the times where Matt and his team went above and beyond. I feel that Matt explains recommendations in an understandable way and I have always felt that honesty is present. While car troubles can be stressful, I'm happy to know that Midwest Auto Care is only a call away!

This was my first visit, after coming highly recommend from a friend. The shop was clean and comfortable. From being greeted at the door, to checking out, I was treated well, being updated as needed. As a person who has little experience with car maintenance, they fixed what was needed with extremely reasonable prices. I never felt pressure or told other things needed fixed, as had happened in the past. I would highly recommend this team of professionals! After seeing how they treated myself and other customers, I’ve decided to have them help me with finding me a vehicle. I’ve never felt so comfortable buying a car! Thank you so much! Lori

I had an issue with my Chevy Trailblazer this morning and called to see if they could get my truck in today. Matt was very helpful and said he would get me if I could bring it in soon. Once I got there I explained my problem and also advised the car had a part replaced last summer. Matt and his crew are very honest. He called me back right away and said he thought it was the same part from last year and it should be under warranty with the other shop. They could have taken advantage of me but instead they were honest. They even started to give me a ride home so I would have to spend my money and wait on an Uber. Will be going back again and will refer others! Thanks Matt and crew!

Good, fair, and honest mechanics. I've been going here for years and entrusted several cars to their care. Every time I know I'll be treated fairly and the price quotes are normally spot on. They're also very honest and will let you know what your vehicle needs, or may not need at that time. I take my cars here for anything from maintenance work to anything else more serious. Look forward to continuing to support our local mechanics!

Matt was fantastic to deal with. My wife and I went in, with no appointment on a Saturday, after spotting a vehicle he had recently posted. He welcomed us in and we left there with a new vehicle. He was very honest, up front and did a great job explaining vehicle history, maintenance performed as well as the process itself. We will continue to do business with Midwest Motors!

The absolute best buying experience. Matt was awesome and made it easy to do business with them. After a bad experience with another local dealership Matt was great about making sure that my vehicle rolled out in good shape with zero issues.
