One of their drivers got on I-80 right near this location and merged into me ~6 pm on 10/22/25. Luckily I didn't get in a serious accident but I had to swerve into the far left lane to get out of their way.
Worst service I have ever received from any automotive company! I was charged over a $100 dollars for nothing.. they couldn't get my battery charged and they left me in a grocery store parking lot in 90 degree weather . When I called customer service I was told by a very rude employee that I could " call back in the morning to complain to a manager" . She stated that the driver was calling someone to tow my car but he never told me that , he just walked off and jumped in his truck . I guess I was supposed to read his mind to know that he was calling another driver ! Will tell anyone I know that has car troubles to not use this business.
Fast professional service after Crow Tow bailed on me without telling me. My car died in the middle of the street and it was really stressful. Not only did they arrive in 15 minutes, they gave me a ride home since it was near the shop. Driver was super nice and knowledgeable. BYW...Crow Tow quoted me $159 while Central Iowa Towing was just $116.

Called in a pretty panicked state yesterday but Zoey was able to dispel my concerns easily and promptly with a lot of understanding I wasn't quite getting from another towing service.
Andy sorted the tow and drop off extremely quickly even though both the pickup and the drop were in kind of awkward spots.
Amazing service all around, much love to them both.

Called these guys last minute to move 9 scissor lifts. Was a little nervous at first. The guys showed up knew exactly what they were doing got them all transported no issues. Couldn't have been happier with the work. Will definitely continue using them. Great job guys!
Excellent service! I have used them multiple times. I decided to use another local company for some foolish reason. I scheduled a week out. The other company canceled the morning of pickup. I then called Central Iowa Towing. They came to the rescue once again… in less than an hour! Never again will I Go elsewhere. You folks are very clutch when people need you. Thank you!!
Called them in the early morning for a frozen
air line and I asked them before I accepted the $205/ h rate with 2 h minimum if they have any other fees that I need to know about. They said no when I booked them and what do you think they charged me when I paid???? Fuel surcharge fee. They didn’t fix my problem, for all these reasons I will give them 1 star
This place illegally removed my vehicle from my property. I will be seeking a lawsuit. It’s doesn’t matter I talk to the property and they said that you guys did not put a sticker on my vehicle. Nice way to try to recover yourself. She said that going forward you guys are not allowed to go on the property and remove people‘s vehicles without a sticker which never was on my car. You guys are not the police it’s not your job to enforce state law however I do pay for my vehicle to be on that property and it is not in our lease agreement. Also, we went with crow tow. We never got any updates that they switched to Central towing so keep up the lies.
Received a call from their dispatcher, she assured me a driver is on the way. I then called the driver for estimate time of arrival and discussed the issue with with car as it would not start and was blocking my driveway. Upon his arrival he was able to start my car after I made a horrible attempt to move the car to make room for the two vehicles in the garage. He diagnosed why the car wouldn’t start. I called the mechanic that the problem is the battery bracket is loose. The driver did all this while the rain kept falling. Loaded up the car and notified me car is at the repair shop!
Our driver Lane was a professional, personable and very kind young man. The female dispatcher was very helpful and understanding of our plight. Help came to us in a timely manner…THANK YOU!!!!
I had a flat tire as I arrived to work today. Central Iowa Towing was notified and in under 60 minutes they arrived, removed my flat, placed a temp tire and brought my tire into a dealer for repair/replacement. Jamie identified the culprit.
Their service was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and overall excellent. This is what I call customer service. Jamie was amazing. Highly recommend.

Marcos was absolutely amazing when it came to our service. Put our car in our very complicated drive way and help us jack the car up. He was very professional and caring. The car came pretty late but the communication on his end was fantastic. Glad he waited to get our car from a heavily traveled interstate until later in the day to insure his safety. Bobby was very friendly and helpful in getting me off of the side of the interstate! He kept in contact via phone and arrived much faster than what my insurance company quoted. I don't want to have to get towed again but if I needed it I wouldn't hesitate to call Central Iowa Towing.

1/12/24 my company hired central Iowa towing and recovery to send a service truck for a service call. Colin was the tech and arrived well before the ETA I was told to expect. He very quickly found the issue but my employer and central Iowa were unable to find parts locally and being the truck is under warranty my company decided they were going to have it towed to the dealer locally(unfortunately I didn’t catch the name of the heavy wrecker operator). They removed the driveshaft and stored it in their truck to keep my truck from getting dirty. Towed my truck and trailer to the shop parked them. Over all very polite and professional. Can’t comment on ease to set up service or price as that was done for me. But overall off my experience would definitely recommend
Bobby was absolutely awesome. He was prompt after receiving the correct location of our vehicle and was pretty quick to get us off the interstate and back home.. Would definitely recommend. That said they were requested via our car insurance so I cannot speak for pricing but the inside of the tow truck was clean and had phone chargers just in case.

When I called the girl was really nice. Fast and efficient! Bobby (who towed my car) was awesome! He was also fast and efficient! He waited for me to get back to my house to show him where I wanted my car dropped off at! He didn't just drop it anywhere! He also took the time to make sure my 2011 Dodge Charger sports car wasn't damaged in any way! I would recommend him and this company if you need a tow! Hoping you don't though!
It was almost midnight and Bobby came out and changed the tire in minutes, was super friendly and helped with everything and even gave recommendations on tire places for the following morning. Waited until we were safely off and gone! He was great!
Bobby helped us get our front wheel drive van out of a downhill, icy driveway. He was there in 30 min even though we were a little outside of town - FAST. Then he was so kind and understanding and explained how this type of thing can happen to anyone. My 4 year daughter asked me, “This guy is helping us, does that mean he’s an angel?” And I said, “Yes he is!”
