Hi I was in last night and I was looking for parts for my car and the lady that was helping me had a strong marijuana smell coming her I understand that marijuana is legal, but you shouldn’t smell like that. When you work customer service job I do not appreciate the smell. They should drug test all of their employees because that was unacceptable.

I recently visited Advance and had an unpleasant experience with an employee named Zoe. As soon as I approached the counter, I noticed a very strong smell of marijuana coming from her. It was overwhelming and immediately made the interaction uncomfortable. Regardless of personal choices outside of work, coming into a professional environment smelling strongly of weed is not appropriate. Customers expect a clean, professional atmosphere, and this did not reflect well on the store. It made the experience feel unprofessional and disappointing. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure a better standard of professionalism for future customers

While driving with my toddler last night, my coolant light came on multiple times which worried me. I didn't want to stop anywhere and decided to go straight home. This morning I called Advance Auto in Mokena and spoke with Mr. David. I had no idea what coolant to purchase or where to put it once purchased. Mr. David was soooo nice. He told me to bring my car manual in and we would figure it out. Once I arrived, Mr. David had already looked up which coolants would work best with my car. He asked to see my car manual to verify it was correct. After that, Mr. David came outside in the cold to check my coolant level and to make sure I knew where to put it. These days it's hard to find great customer service at different businesses. Thank you so much to Mr. David for your help and professionalism. You really went above and beyond!

Dropped oil off. No issues. They usually have the parts I need for a quick fix on my Honda Accord. Very happy with friendly helpful service and staff!

I came to Advance auto parts in Mokena and the general manager Todd waited on me. His customer service was excellent very Nice & friendly. he helped me with a fuse. I need it a fuse for the cigarette lighter so that I could charge my cell phone. I will definitely shop this advance auto parts store again. Nice people to do business with

Elderly father-in-law bought battery online and asked if I could pick it up for him since he was not feeling well but he stated that they would install it(as advertised). They had the battery but they did not install it based off of their computer saying “Professional Installation Required”. I believe it was Dale or Dave whom I was working with (He had a gray shirt) said was “I go by what the computer says”. He didn’t even go out to see the car because it was “too cold outside”. I had to install battery on my own using their tools (they looked hardly used). It took me all 10 minutes or less to change it. I am sure glad my father-in-law didn’t go because he would not have been able to carry the battery home which is the only thing that they offered to do for the core charge. Bad service for refusing to do their due diligence. Will recommend everyone to get their batteries at Walmart for almost half the price. No amount of “Leadership Team” notifications will solve the bad experience here

Emma Kevin and Dylan are beyond great employees. Always willing to assist any customer in any way they can and always going above and beyond with great customer service. Dave on the other hand was a total joke, wouldn’t recommend going in to shop when he’s on the clock. He told me 3 days in a row he’d order me parts and told me exact dates and times when they would be in and they were never even ordered. Emma goes above and beyond on the clock & off the clock she was willing to help me after hours. I’ve basically lived in this store for the past 2 weeks even when I’ve needed parts and been 45 mins to 2 hours away I would drive here just to get parts from them. They constantly sat there day in and day out helping me order all the right parts for my off road rigs and regular vehicles.

Emma and Kevin are the BEST! They replaced my battery for me while it was raining even after their system said it would take up to thirty mins! They had this job done in about 10-15 minutes and I couldn’t be more thankful such an amazing group of people! WOW! ?

Don't believe the advertisement that they'll install your battery. If it takes any amount of time more than the two bolts on the battery, they will not change it for you.

I was just at the store, trying to get a new bulb for my headlight. when I asked Dave for help installing it, which I have done every time I’ve come here at the past four years. He rudely told me that they don’t usually do it, but he’ll take a look and when he came out to my car, he was extremely rude and I promptly left without getting help because I was not going to put up with that type of attitude.

I went in to buy rotors and Todd and Kevin were a huge help. They were very knowledgable, professional, and they went above and beyond in making sure I was completely satisfied. I would recommend going there for any and all of your auto parts need, I will definitely be back.

Came into this location in Frankfort for some oil. An employee helped me. He checked computer, showed me what selection he has in stock, and offered a funnel. Checkout was quick. There was no extras or trying to get me to buy other things for my car. Simple visit. I’ll be back to this location. Thank you for great customer service!!

The woman behind the counter was friendly and helpful. The two men were grumpy and rude. I have physical impairments and needed help with installing my windshield wipers. I left there feeling like I was a bother to them. I won’t bother you again.

Went in for repair parts and oil and was helped by Kevin. Kevin had a horrible attitude and was incredibly rude and condescending the entire time. I will not be spending my money here anymore and will be using other shops with better customer service.

Service was great but OMG the prices compared to anywhere else outrageous. 1 spark plug $25 and it wasn't made out of gold. Now i understand how the repair Bills in the surrounding shops are always $1000 and up for a simple job.

Excellent customer service, which is rather rare these days! Jeff J. was very nice and knowledgeable when I first called with questions. He waited on me later when I arrived and made my purchases, totaling $256.97 before tax. Because of my interactions with this associate, I plan to shop here again, and strongly recommend this store to others. They also have a great inventory, conveniently located, and very clean store, with plenty of parking.

I dealt with Shadi. He sold me the wrong brake pads. I purchased premium pads that were for the wrong model. Upon returning to the store to get the correct pads, again, I dealt with Shadi. He took my pads back and gave me the correct pads, however, they were gold pads not premium. He attempted to not return the pads and simply do an even exchange. He told me I was getting a better pad that was actually more expensive but he was going to waive the return. After a great deal of back and forth about how gold pads are a lower grade pad and premium pads are more expensive he reluctantly returned the pads and paid me the difference of $15. I felt as though he was trying to con me and his employer. As someone who does many auto repairs, I will make certain to never shop for parts at this location again.

Excellent service. Called about a dead battery, and Donald was up front about cost, best option and ability to do the work. Showed up, and while it took time to locate the battery, Donald completed the installation quickly. Donald also allowed me to purchase the battery online so I could use a coupon. Great job!

Bob Z the GM is awesome. Finds everything i need and at a great price. If he doesn't have, he finds where to get it. Highly reccomend this store based on experience with this management. You can't go wrong!

I went in to buy windshield wiper blades for my vehicle. The young man that took care of me was very knowledgeable and had a great attitude. He even offered to put the wiper blades on. Very impressive. Will let others know!

Have a problem almost every time i go here, my most recent purchase was the last straw. Store was closed early and had to call / honk for 5 minutes, part boxes were smashed and the product was missing the instructions and some hardware. I also was told no receipt could be provided (thankfully i ordered online...). No apology wàs given, and im willing to take a loss on the purchase to not ever go back. Great Job.
