Used this company to tow my car. According to google and the outside of the building it opens at 8am. I sat outside over an hour waiting to retrieve my car.

This is the second time we used this towing service and once again we received excellent service. We wanted to have our car picked up the same day and Joe thought it would be first thing in the morning but he would reach out to a driver and get back to me. An hour later we received a call from a driver who said he was 5 minutes out. Jesus was courteous, congenial and very particular when securing the car to the lift with additional straps and chains. There were no surprises with the transaction amount. I highly recommend B&J towing and will continue to call on them for service in the future.

This place is the best!!! Our car died on July 4th weekend. We called five places and no one could get us towed within six hours. A friend recommended B&J and not only were they the friendliest and politest, but they also were out within 90 minutes. The tow driver was so helpful.

My camaro was totaled on i80 w bound they came towed the vehicle and stated i could not get any of my belongings out of my vehicle without paying for them. I went back to get my belongings and they stated,” there was nothing in the car” my shoes, my 2(12in) subs. & my birth certificate was taken by this company along with other miscellaneous materials. They are thieves and liars and i will be returning with my lawyer and police.

RUDE - DISRESPECTFUL - THIEVES This company towed my vehicle on 2/5/2020 after an accident on I355 SB. They were dispatched by Illinois state police. B&J Towing took my car to their storage lot because of the bad weather conditions. Two days later my insurance adjuster called me and stated that he was at B&J Towing with my vehicle and he stated that I still had items in the vehicle that were scattered which seemed odd because I either took all my loose items out of the car at the scene of the crash or I put them away. Fast forward to Monday 2/10/2020 I was cleared to remove the remaining of my items from my vehicle at the insurance storage yard (Coparts in Chicago Heights, IL State Street). Once i looked in my vehicle I noticed it had been ransacked. Items that were left in the glove box along with some other personal papers I had in side a seat pocket were scattered in the trunk. Also my coin holder was empty along with another compartment in the dash that held lots of coins. I estimate that there was $8-$10 in change missing. My biggest concern is that possibly B&J Towing trifled through my personal papers which possible had some vital private information. I contacted B&J Towing on 2/10/2020 and spoke with a gentleman named "Pete" who refused to give his last name and informed him of the incident. Pete denied that such a thing as theft would not be done by any of his employees. Pete refused to take my complaint and said he would not look any further into this matter. Beside the tow truck driver at the scene being rude I feel that this company stands behind unprofessional and dishonest employees and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Very rude! It seems they do not need the business. Older bearded man had me sit in my car in the bay while he chatted with a school bus driver that came after me for 40 minutes. Just came for a safety sticker. Left with out it. Larrys brake service is further away but at least they are nicer.

I went there for a car lane inspection. I was greeted by a rude mechanic. No hello no nothing. Waited for about an hour. Then garage door opened and zero instruction to pull in. So I pulled in half way and then the second a-hole employee yells, “Let’s go!!!”. They finally did their job but their customer service is pathetic because they know they’re the only Illinois car lane inspection site within an hour radius. Drive to Maywood instead.

Called the 1800 number posted online to locate my vehicle, the dispatcher or who ever is was, was very rude with a bad attitude. I'm glad to know that my vehicle was not towed to that yard.

I went to do the safety sticker and they didn’t give me the sticker because one light was not bright enough. My mechanic fixed that after two weeks I went there again but they told me that I have to pay again $30?! This is crazy...I already paid for this service ... they just steal people money .... and their towing service its expensive

They were friendly and helpful, and their lot is safe, secure, and well-organized. We had no trouble finding the car in the back lot, nor did it feel like we were endangering our lives by being back there while cleaning it out and taking pictures of the damage. (Rolling down a hill several times is hard on a vehicle. To its credit the driver survived and should fully recover, eventually.) Do pay attention to teh Google if it's your first time going there though. There are several similar places nearby, and we managed to drive past it not once but twice before finally figuring it out.

Amazing. The driver I had was great,he knew what to do, wasn’t afraid to talk and ask questions. Decent price than others. For a 22 mike trip the whole thing was $122. Better than others of being 170 and above. Great on time too and

Well cap well-mannered , equipment look great, the shop was Immaculate look like they cared for the cars they towed in even though they were accidents . We at Pete's Towing in Burbank are jealous.

When your car is towed here it was a challenge to get this information confirmed by the staff there. Even with their name on the ticket they still deined having the car. I was was finally able to locate the car at the location eventually after 5 phone calls.

I was so disappointed in these guys. They worked on my brakes and did some minor maintenance on my Kia. I was happy with their service so when my AC went out in the summer of 2016, I brought it them. John quoted me around $462.54 for the total repair. When I went to pick up my car, the total was $764.16. The compressor was $388.72 (part # 97370). He never called to tell me there was a change in price. I spent $764.16 to get my AC fixed and they had my car in their possession from 6/11/2016 to 6/15/2016. A couple days later, my AC wasn't blowing out so I brought it back. John showed me that the wire underneath the dashboard was loose. He mentioned that something might be wrong with my blower motor and to drop the car off. At this point, fall was approaching so I mentioned that I would wait until the Spring/Summer season. My blower worked for the vent and when I turned the heat on so I figured it was not the blower motor, especially after the wire was in place. When summer was approaching, I turned on my AC and it would not come out cold. Every time I called, John told me I would have to drop it off on a Saturday and my schedule did not allow that so I ended up bringing it to another mechanic on 5/5/2017. They found a leak on the compressor and it was completely empty. In addition, the belts were loose. They did not find anything wrong with the blower motor as John had informed me previously. They said to take it back to the original mechanic who installed the compressor. I called them and Pedro mentioned to come in first thing Thursday morning (7/6/17). When I arrived, John told me he said to come in on Friday to drop it off. I told him that I specifically asked that they make this a priority since I could not drop my car off over night. He was very upset with me and it did not seem like he wanted to fix the problem. He told me that he asked me to drop it off a few different times, but, again, I could not drop it off and leave it over night; I reiterated this several times. He also mentioned that the warranty expired on the compressor. I'm a single mother, I work and I'm in grad school. It was always a challenge for me to drop my car off overnight and hope to get it the next day. I almost left there in tears because of how much money I've given to them. I am upset that I was quoted the wrong price initially and not notified of it. And one year later, I am still having issues with my AC. John never informed me that there was only a one-year warranty on the compressor.

Jack and his crew have Saved my Butt several times and they are pretty quick .Recently blew the engine on my truck on 53 on the Northside. they were there in 25 minutes during rush hour!! Seen some of the other reviews and cant understand why they had poor service. B&J has always been there for me. Thanks!

After waiting for 2 hours for roadside assistance, we called here and they got someone to us in less than 20! It was a cold day and it had snowed the night before, so we were grateful they were able to help us so quickly! Towed us to the nearest auto place to fix our tire. Wish I would have called them first! Jesus was great! He anticipated our needs and put all the necessary info on the paperwork so we could get reimbursed for the tow! Great company to do business with!
