The worst Experiences in buying tires.
The only tire place I have ever been to that doesn't replace TPMS sensors for the tires when you buy new tires.
300 plus a tire for BRAND NEW tires and no TPMS sensors this is a first time ever in my life this has happened.
2 weeks ago, they replaced the TPMS sensors on my sisters car and they didn't work for 2 days. She had to go to another firestone for them to fix it.
2 years ago I came here and they didn't even balance he tires after I had paid for it. Couldn't even get to work that day after spending 800 dollars on 2 tires.
First time I came here in 2018 they put the wrong tires on my car.
What the online prices are and what they charge you are never the same.
The Customer service is shady and very short. I have atleast 5 to 6 years worth of proof of the issues and many times I've had to come back after services were paid for. Will definitely be reporting them that information to the BBB and their corporate office because this is terrible.
Got a bolt in the tire on a Sunday at 2pm. Called firestone, took me in, and got a new tire before they closed at 5pm. Brandon was great and very helpful!
Had Firestone tires on my vehicle. Also had the Road Hazard insurance. Got a nail in the sidewalk. Firestone no longer made that tire or had other tires in that size. Had to purchase a whole new set of tires (another brand). Paid full price, no discounts. Sucked. The Firestone tires had a great deal of tread left.
Bill and Brandon and the team are outstanding. Honest and professional, and they have earned our business for the future. Great communication from the team as well. Five stars!

I was towed in due to a flat on a fleet vehicle. They were really busy that day, with every bay filled, but Bill and his team had a new tire on quickly and i was able to make it to my next appointment on time!
Polite and quick service. Tires after a little drive aren’t comparable like Nick claimed! I went in looking for Goodyear Eagle LS-2 and he sold me Allseason, weathergrip tires which I recently found out these tires don’t have the sport performance. I don’t appreciate not getting what I was told was comparable.

Rio tech mechanic was a great help to me i left and came right back was loosing pressure in my turbo and he took a ride with me before the problem and after he fixed the problem they services was good here I recommend this firestone to everyone good customer service here thanks again
They were able to fit me in last minute to have my work truck checked out for a mysterious concerning grinding/squeaking noise. The service was friendly and fast, and they fixed the problem that several other shops didn’t, simply by being thorough and taking the time to remove/replace the tires correctly. Thanks again, you saved my day!

Great customer service. Decent prices. Wait times not bad. I have twice been a customer at this location. First time was May,2025 for 4 new tires. Second was for a blow out/replacement September,2025. The issue that I have is since departing both times I have lost the cap to a rim. I honestly don’t know why this occurs other than the caps not properly being replaced. Mechanics need to pay better attention to replacing these. Other than that I will still be a customer.
The service technicians were polite and professional, and the tire repair itself was done correctly. However, my 1:00 pm appointment ended up taking until 2:25 pm to complete, which feels excessive for a simple tire plug. I arrived 10 minutes early, so the total wait time was about 1.5 hours. The main reason for the delay seemed to be the courtesy check, which I was not asked about in advance. Since I had just completed a 30K service at my dealer, the courtesy check was unnecessary and added significant time. I understand that appointments can sometimes run over, but I would recommend confirming with the customer before performing additional checks, especially when they may cause long delays.
The staff was very knowledgeable when diagnosing what went wrong my suspension and were able to improvise a solution to get me and my car safely home. Thank you so much to Tom and the rest of the staff there who helped me that way.
Brought my vehicle in to have a tire checked due to it losing air every few weeks. They had me in and out in 45 minutes with a new tire! Great service and helpful, friendly employees!
Picked up a nail in my tire which caused a very fast leak. Was passing the Firestone location in Mokena so stop to get flat repaired. Store personnel was accommodating to get me back on the road after 2 hours, but...
When they released my vehicle, I glanced at the repaired tire and there was my wheel lock key still on the lug nut ready to fly off once I hit the road. One disaster averted. Tire was fine for a day and a half then developed a slow leak. At home now I removed it to inspect it. The remains of the nail I picked up were still in the tread! They removed the tire to install an internal patch but didn't or couldn't fully remove the offending object from the tire which evidently worked it's way further in and compromised the patch. They also chewed up my rim denouncing and recounting the tire.

I got in a jam with a flat and just needed my spare tire installed and didn't have my wallet. I insisted that my wife could call with a credit card but out of the kindness of the guy's heart, he did it no charge. Sorry I don't remember his name but kudos to him!
The Firestone Mokena location is great. Corey has developed a strong team of service writers and technicians. I’ve been coming here for many years because they provide great service and are fair and honest about what really needs to be done!
Right before a road trip, I got a nail in my tire. Since I just recently just moved to the area, I chose this location as it was conveniently located near me. They did not disappoint at all and took my concern into consideration. They got my tire patched super quick and got me back on the road in no time. Couldn’t thank the team enough for helping me out!
Had an issue with a leak on tires they put on 3 weeks ago. I was able to get my vehicle in within 24 hours for the repair and they fixed the tire no problem. They were polite and very helpful. Highly recommend!
My Audi Q5 got towed in Thursday evening due to a broken alternator. When they called me Friday afternoon they told me everything else that was wrong with the vehicle besides the alternator. Even mentioned that the battery seemed fairy new but they didn’t mention anything about the radio not functioning. When I picked it up yesterday evening, the radio, half of my instrument panel, back up camera did not have electricity, which was not the situation when the vehicle was brought in. When I called they exclaimed that it was that way when the vehicle was brought in which was not the case. Even when the alternator blew out Thursday evening, I still had access to my radio and it wasn’t just a black screen. Wouldn’t they have noticed that the radio was broken during their initial inspection of the vehicle and tell me that when they gave me the quote of ALL the repairs? They also tried to say that the battery could be faulty but during the initial inspection they said it seemed fairly new and in good condition. It feels like we paid good money for them to not even make sure the car was working properly before returning it to me. I brought it to another professional who was able to fix it and diagnosed the problem as them not wiring the radio back up to the battery in the correct manner. Seemed like they are just money hungry and don’t care to fix it correctly.
I dropped off my F-150 on Monday 4-21-25 for driver’s side door lock not working, and ball joint. They called me later that day to say that they found some other issues and were going to fix them, but they said the door lock was working. I asked him to double check the door lock because it has not locked in 2 weeks. I check every time after I hit door lock button. It never locks. He said he asked, and they did not find an issue with it. Now it’s Wednesday. I go to pick up my truck. Before I enter the store, I go to my truck sitting in the lot. The driver’s side door is unlocked, all other doors are locked. I went inside and told him this and he said that he was the one that pulled the truck out of the shop last night and he locked the door. I asked him if he checked to see if the door was locked. He said everything worked. The door never locked, and he never checked it. Had he locked it with the button then just simply pulled the handle he would have seen it did not lock like I described. This means my truck sat on the lot all night and day with the driver’s side door unlocked. Then he asked if I wanted a quote to fix it. It’s under warranty and they had my truck for 3 days. They NEVER investigated the issue. I told him no; I would take my business elsewhere.
I asked him what I owed for the work that was done, he told me $580.
I told him they have my warranty on file and they mentioned that when they called me for approval for the parts to be changed.; ball joint was covered and then I had to pay out of pocket for the serpentine belt $200 and my deductible of $100. Bill should be around $300. He says let me see…. Ohhh…umm you owe $340… he was going to charge me $580.
I was never sent a receipt to my email. I don’t have any record of what he charged me for.
I think they are playing some games over at this location.
My entire experience with this location was great! Corey made my initial appointment, and on the day of service, he was there and took care of me from beginning to end. Th facility was clean, the mechanics were polite and my truck was in the same order I left it.
