I brought a jump starter that I bought two weeks ago in a store in neperville, I never used it, the guy from whom I bought said that it would be possible to return without problems,I came to this store and the seller named Pedro said that I can not make a refund,it is very unpleasant because I bought and I was told it will be possible to return in any store....... 🤯🤯🤯

Ordering on line was easy. Parts I needed were ready for pickup in less than 1/2 hour, and I was able to apply the promotional discount offered on the website by ordering on line. Very convenient.

Worst experience ever. They give you the run around when installing battery. It’s like they get pleasure doing that since they know you need it. Don’t go here for anything, I hope this location closes.

Avoid this company entirely! They sell defective parts and couldn’t care less about their customers. Their customer service is absolutely disgusting. And let me tell you about Pedro G, the sorry excuse for an employee at that store—he needs a serious lesson in how to treat people. I walked in, holding my box in my hand, and he looked straight at me with a dismissive stare. I nodded to greet him, and instead of acknowledging me, he rolls his eyes and sneers, “What is that? What do you want?” I was stunned. Excuse me? You don’t talk to a customer like that! I just stepped inside and expected basic respect, not this rude attitude. He then dismissively asks, “What is it again? What do you need?” I tell him I want to make a return and ask what his problem is. He completely ignores me and then asks, “Is it used?” I respond that it’s just as I purchased it. When I asked for proper customer service, he begrudgingly gave me my refund—completely unprofessional, with an attitude that was totally uncalled for. Walking into that store, I shouldn’t expect to be treated with disrespect—yet that’s exactly what I got. This place and their staff are an embarrassment!

What a shame, Advance Auto Parts! The guy by name Owen at the counter was under the influence and rude. Domingo Rodriguez, address this issue ASAP as you will loose customers. Switching to NAPA and Autozone.

Manager was rude and did not want to process my return, he basically claimed I stole the item because it had a tag. I had to drive to the Romeoville warehouse to get proper customer service where they treated me properly. Save your time and go to another store.

I needed a new car battery. I called the store at 8AM to see if they had the battery I needed, and by 9AM, I was on my way with the new battery installed. Rob was friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Friendly and knowledgeable employees. Helped me figure out what car battery I needed, explained the differences between the options, and helped me with the tools to change the battery on my own. They always have a great selection of products as well. This is my favorite auto store to come to now.

11/27 1 pm - Rude old guy didn't want to install my battery because it's too cold (30 degrees). Guess what clown, this is CHICAGO it's going to be cold until April. After staring in disbelief he finally agrees, puts the battery in and while I'm starting the car he loosens the hood stopper so my hood doesn't close properly out of spite. Oh yeah, I found what you did! Wish I remembered your name - I hope regional figures it out. I've never given a 1 star review before, but this one was earned. BIG warning - read the other recent reviews and choose wisely.

Went in today to have a battery replace and I want to recognize the gentleman by the name of John was very nice helpful, impatient and also I want to add the debt put the battery in my car Domingo. He is one of the reasons why I came to the store due to the reviews about how good and helpful he is Both men were very awesome and should be recognized

This location provided an excellent experience. The issues I had with my car was resolved with quality customer service and care. I want to recognize Domingo, the manager, and John. They were awesome and I highly recommend this Bolingbrook location for service.

They don’t care about your business. Went to get a battery replaced today. They said they couldn’t do it due to a OEM fuse block being on the battery. I explained it was held on by two clips and could easily be moved they said the company won’t allow them to. They lied, I went up the road to another Advanced location and they did it. They’re liars and they couldn’t just admit they didn’t want to do it. It’s okay to refuse service, but I asked for honesty and was lied to. They don’t care about losing my business, why would they care about losing your business?

The two guys working at 6P on 2.14.23, in my opinion, terrible. I went in for a replacement headlight for a 2013 VW Jetta. They wanted to sell me a bulb for $150. + they were 100% confident that this was the replacement bulb for a 2013 VW JETTA. Check: the correct bulb - H7 Silverstar for $35. Not worth the visit. Avoid the lack of knowledge and the upsell.

I had to hunt this dude down, waiting at the register for like 5 minutes. Then when I found him putting parts up, he asks rudely "can he help me like I was bothering him" so he finishes what he's doing, then gets to the Register asks what I need. I needed to know which type of fuse goes in my vehicle. He gives a weird laugh and tells me that the system can't tell what fuse I need. YOUR ATTITUDE WAS NOT NEEDED! Don't worry I won't be back.

I needed a new car battery and my wife recommended Advanced Auto Parts because she said they could replace the old battery and add a new one. While I appreciate them taking out the old battery and adding the new one, the service should not be offered if the staff is not liable or knowledgeable. Again, I appreciate their help but they accidentally broke my car battery sensor while taking out and adding the new battery. Thankfully, they were quick to help and ordered a replacement free of charge. In the end, it all worked out but I want to leave this review so future customers can be cautious while asking for a battery replacement.

I've been to this location a few times. Mostly for new car batteries. They provide a good today selection of batteries giving you the best options for you vehicle's use case. What was most impressive was their knowledge to help your buying decision, fair price and free testing and installation services. They double checked that the problem was my battery before just selling it to me. They tested the alternator, starter and battery. In all I was in and out in 25 minutes. Huge shout out to Brandon who knows his stuff and braved 6°F temperatures to install my battery. I'd go back just because of how awesome his service was.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! NEVER GOING BACK!My father and I went in looking for a few things. Our total came out to about $8. We handed the cashier a $20 dollar bill. We received our change and only got $2 back. So we went and asked him about the rest and he tells us it was $10 that we handed him. And we kept telling him it wasn’t and that if he could check the cameras and he kept refusing.

I went today for wiper blades, the young lady behind the counter came over told me the size i needed and explained benefits of the various ones, friendly professional and installed. All done in about 15 minutes. Thank you!

One of the younger workers was very helpful and professional, however, some older lady with glasses that works until close was very rude and condescending when I just asked if they would sell me a product with the online price (some stores do that, you know). All she had to say was no...didn't have to be extra and say "well that's the point of buying it online". Very unnecessary. Never going back here.

Very bad customer services. Not recommended to go there. There’s a big bully guy named JB or BJ. Stay away from him. Stay away from this store because he treated stores customers in front of a stored supervisor and he’s done nothing. When you ask him a question, he might beat you up outside at the store parking lot. I want to give it no star. I came for my simple battery prices comparison but I left without any info. When he wrote down a part number, he kept mumbling about “writing down is not in his job description ” and “ he’s still got his job by next morning”. After 2 mincomplaining about customer waiting behind me and writing part number on the paper, he just torn it up without hand it to me. It’s might be an essential store to be open right now, but it’s got no support from me. Good luck BJ. He might got this job still or a next door store, but he’s still a low life to me-/-

I was simply trying to make a return that I made at the Romeoville store and I had a receipt but Becky that tried to help me was rude from the beginning. Immediately tried to argue with me that this was an online order and tried to confuse me to get me to go back to the original store to return the product even though it was out of my way. Every year I buy less at Advance and more from their competitor bc they mistreat you and like to play that game. They don’t take customers serious and have forgotten that we have Amazon and EBay plus the other parts stores to buy from.

First lady taking care of me was less than enthused to help me, then had to give her my car info a second time when I was ready to purchase. Another employee was more helpful and offered to install, even though he was on his way home.

If you know what you need, this is a good spot. If you don't know what you need, I'm not sure I'd trust everything they say here. While the staff I dealt with was very nice and accomodating, they didn't diagnose my problem correctly costing me a ton of time waiting for a tow truck I didn't end up needing. If they had tested the battery properly, I could have just replaced that rather than waiting a day for a tow where that tech then told me I actually DID need a battery. He ended up installing it instead of the staff inside. I may come back here for something simple like wiper blades but not for anything else. Ps, they don't replace batteries after sundown for "liabilty" reasons. Convenient that the sun goes down at like 6:30 this time of year :(

Manger 'Micheal' is ignorant. He made several excuses to get me out of the store and not accept the return. I was in the store at 8:55pm, store closes at 9pm. First he wasted time while gossiping with other customer, then said can't accept the return as its over 9pm. Then he told me I wasted 2 minutes by not putting parts on the table. (I am like are you serious). Then said part is longer because its stronger (outer tie rod end). Its a exact fit for the car. Can you believe it? Ignorant as heck. And had employee on one of the desk with MacDonalds uniform. Hate this store now!

There was 4 people working and the line was long. Instead of taking care of immediate customers, they were putting stuff on the shelves. I was always taught to take care of the person who is front of you and hold off on the other stuff. Then the line gets down to only me waiting and the girl finally says "I can help whoever is next" while she is looking directly at me lol all I could do it shake my head at her as I put my merchandise on the counter then walked out

Other times I've been here the staff has been very nice. Tonight I asked for something very simple and the girl helping me wasn't helpful at all. I had my 2yr old daughter and she didn't offer to help me figure out which one was the product I needed like the staff had done in the past.
