I took my car in to get a diagnosis ran for a blown head gasket, and suspension issues. They told me the whole engine would probably have to be replaced but they could definitely do the work. A couple weeks later I got a call they wouldn’t be able to do the work because they were missing a tool they couldn’t get from anywhere else. I still had them to do an oil change because I had a aftermarket warranty that requires all maintenance be done at the proper times. Once I picked up my car they didn’t even reset my maintenance countdown on my dash. I ended up taking my car to a shop in Maywood who actually did the work. Don’t waste your time or money.
Wow they do a little bit of everything, so personable. I was hearing a rattle and husband prob could have fixed it but I wanted it done now..... walked in without an apointment got right in. Amber was very good at explaining what needed to be done very knowledgeable. L
I walked in and they took me right away. (Though I'm sure the time of day had something to do with it, so I'd still call first)I needed a new battery, but they tested the old one first instead of just trying to make a buck right away. Amber at the front desk was awesome and cool to talk to while I waited. I highly recommend and will be back if my car needs anything else done!
Amber was very direct and honest when it came to the problems with my truck, which I truly appreciated. She helped me prioritize the most important repairs so I didn’t have to come out of pocket for everything all at once. Her integrity and transparency made the entire process stress-free. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Meineke in Bourbonnais.

Had severe corrosion on side terminal battery cables, frozen studs on cables. They were able to replace battery studs with new ones without having to replace the cables. It would have been a major expense to replace side temeral cable. Great job!
My car battery was dying and I stopped there to see if they could check it for me. They did check it and brought my car in the garage right away and put a new one in my car. The lady at the desk was super nice and we had a nice chat. I will certainly go there again if I have any other car problems.
After a few disappointing experiences with other services in the area, Meineke has gained my trust with excellent technical and customer service. I have taken multiple cars in and they have been honest and accurate. I can't speak more highly of my experience there
Slightly overdue, but Bill and the amazing crew at Meineke managed to help 2 crazy girls and guy get our car from Chicago all the way back to New Orleans! Amazing service and make sure to ask Bill about his trip to Greece :)
Bill and his team were amazing! We stopped there on our way down to New Orleans and they couldn’t have been more helpful. They not only fixed the car but were also very kind! Would highly recommend. They even brought us into the shop to see the car when they were working on it.

The shop was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Found an additional leak in the exhaust system beyond what I had seen before taking it to them. They were able to look at my car and confirm it’s issue within an hour of dropping it off. Then they called and we discussed a plan of action to resolve the issues still by the end of that day. It did cost a little bit more than I would have liked but still acceptably priced and I believe the car is more quiet than when it was new! Great experience overall!
Amber and Bill are the most caring people when it comes to taking care of you not just as a customer but as a person or friend. On the hardest day of my life it got harder by not one but two different cars with problems. Without hesitation our cars were fixed and back on the road while we delt with a devistating death in the family. I cant thank you enough for helping us in a time of much need. They were amazing! I had a wheel bearing, oil change, and tire rotation done on my Dodge Dart. They had my car done quickly and even fixed an issue with my tire pressure system that had been bothering me for years free of charge. I will make this my go to repair shop moving forward. Went in for brake fluid flush/bleed and they got me in at my appointment time and did a great job at a fair price. Amber is awesome at her job, multi tasking extraordinaire. Happy with results from the shop mechanics too. Good to have a competent shop nearby.
I had recently bought another vehicle which had some warranty items I was letting the local Honda dealer take care of. Although that dealer ship did a fine job I am happy to return to Bill and his crew at Meineke. I have always been happy with their expertise and friendship.
The staff at Meineke are awesome! They fully explain what work needs to be done and give an honest price! When I had trouble with my 5 month old brakes, they fixed my van right away. Now my van rides smooth again.
I needed an oil change and brake repairs. When I called Bill told me he could get me in right away and there was no waiting once I got there. The jobs were completed in a fast and efficient time frame. I had some good laughs and conversations with Bill and Amber while I waited and they really made me feel like family. Amber did a great job of keeping me informed about the issues needing to be addressed and explained everything to me in a very easy to understand way. My vehicle runs like new now and I'm genuinely impressed with the quality of the people, the customer service, and the work done by the mechanics. 5 Stars - highly recommend

Excellent place to get my exhaust system installed. Amber was in the office and I listened to her take care of other customers. She is very knowledgeable and shows real concern for their customers. She took the time to explain to one customer the items that needed to be fixed. She prioritized them so the customer could afford to get the work done a little at a time and the list was properly prioritized by the most important to least. I admired her efforts. Another customer came in for an oil change and she notified him of an issue KIA cars are having with engines that burn excessive oil. She printed out a warrantee from KIA about the issue so he could followup with the manufacture to get the engine replaced. Outstanding work.
I broke my control arm & tire rods on my vehicle. Bill & his team worked effectively & fast on my car to insure I understand full details about the damages on my car & cost. Love this place! The ONLY place I will let work on my cars!
