I’ve been going to Uncle ED’s for the past 10 years & NEVER HAVE I/WE EVER Got any bad experiences . For those that give uncle ED’s bad reviews are only saying/giving what others wanna hear or cause “THEY’RE TOO IMPATIENT FOR WAIT .” If you were a one man/woman person , running a business ; Y’ALL won’t get anywhere in life with ya’ impatient/smart attitude . But uncle ED ; you keep doing YOU , ALWAYS ! ?

Customer service is a huge problem here, lady gave the ugliest attitude towards my husband, because he asked "ETA on Ed's (License to do the safty check) arrival. Waiting FIVE hours in line is ridiculous. We live in nanakuli and shouldnt have to drive into waianae or kapolei to do our safty. We've been doing business here for more than 5yrs and never ever had any problems til today. Besides the others, that lady is very UN-PROFESSIONAL. We understand he has his personal life, we do as well, and we have things to do. We work every single day with no days off, and when we do have a day off we have to get other things done such as Safety, Reg and all that wonderful things. Don't waste our time, and we will continue to do business with you. Also when asked ETA please be respectful ? we don't deserve to be treat as such way your worker treated us over the phone. I don't know her name, but she's seems new, because the past years we've been coming here never ever saw her. Or I could be wrong. Either way ? keep it professional and be nice. Simple as that. KEEP IT ALOHA ?

Do not leave your car. Too many homeless people. Can't figure out how he is still in business... But service is great nonetheless... Again do not leave your car on attended...

Ok, so I don’t think they are bad people at all, as I’ve come here several times and received honest and caring service however, after setting a 10 o'clock appointment for a safety inspection and waiting literally 4 hours with a 2 yr old in the car, they had 0 communication. When you wait for even 30 minutes with an appointment, all the people on the line with confirmed appointments should be told, I’m sorry, he’s running late and given a time update. You shouldn’t have to keep calling the shop or going to the front of the line to ask how much longer after 2 hours on a Saturday, with an appointment. I felt guilty even saying something and was just told I can wait. There was no, I’m sorry and explanation of the wait, which goes a long way. I can understand an emergency or just being late by 20 mins. At 2 hours, it was disrespectful. I asked, how long it’s been almost 2 hours, she said 15 minutes. About 40 minutes later, we get our inspection and apparently internet was down. Was told nothing until the 3 hour 30 minute mark after asking kindly if we were almost done. They had all my personal paperwork so I had no option to leave. Ed quickly apologized about the internet at the end of 4 hours, but not for showing up 2 hours late and having 0 communication when things got delayed another hour. People can overlook a lot of things when given great service and apologizing and communicating. When I have to pull teeth with no apology or communication to know why I’m waiting 4 hours on a Saturday with an appointment, it’s just bad for business and shows no respect for customers. Hope they can do better.

Ed's auto repair in Nanakuli is great place for Auto Repairs and Safety Checks. Although took long it's worth the wait!! Thank you Ed for your service!!

The shop there in nanakuli is a good location and I am so happy and proud of the workers because everyday I walk around the area and I see that those guys there are the best on the West because long lines and good friendly service .. To all of you in the west side community help support the shop and le the workers know how awesome the service is too. Aloha

This place is round by little fat sketchy old man charge me $400. I never fixed my issue destroyed my AC and try to keep my car in his garage for over a week.

I got my safety check done here, besides the wait once the owner got to the shop it was simple n fast going. Good customer service tho, look forward to coming back.

After 30 years of taking cars to repair shops on Oahu Bees is the only place I feel comfortable dropping my car off for repairs. Dozens of horror stories about lots of large box stores but never a bad experience at Bee’s. Neighbors are all in agreement with me. If they are limited in repair capability they say so up front no dragging the process out.

We waited for 1hr and 1/2 to get our safety check done. Although the wait was a bit long, we got to stay in our car while they did the safety check. Very friendly place to go to. Definitely, will be coming back to this place. Plenty of Aloha!!

Will be coming here every year forward. Have a small little crack on the drivers side that’s been sealed through my insurance and should have been able to pass safety inspection with the receipt. BUT only bees helped me and gave it a chance to even inspect. $30 safety inspection was well worth it! Saved me hundreds having to change a windshield for the smallest crack. Of course whatever change I had left was a tip for him. Thank you!!

5 Star Customer service with braddah Clearance. Fixed my AC, Window switch, Tune Up and change my belt all within a reasonable time and reasonable price. Highly recommend Him. His work is cherry and he’s a good braddah. I just met him. If you need any work to your vehicle, just go check him out for a quote.

Waited in line for safety check but it was worth it. They were friendly, patience, and made you feel welcome. Thank you, Mr Fong.

The line is pretty long but they people are friendly. He does move quickly and you don't have to have an appointment. Thumbs up for that

I ain't got a negative thing to say about the place or the guys especially the Owner Ed Fong very knowledgeable and hard worker plus long long time Resident of the Westside coastline. It's always a 5⭐ experience for Me. Now that's Priceless ?

Don't ever come here for your safety check on the weekeds. The company shows it opens at 9am but dosen't really You will wait about 2-3hours before the owner shows up in his blue tow-truck. It's sad that they can't even get their own time right.

I go there for all my auto needs. The employees are very knowledgeable and able to explains things to me in a way I can understand. Being female with no knowledge of the auto machanic world they listen to my problems and address it. Deffinately recommend my friends and family to go there for all there auto needs.

I’ve gotten my safety check here for the past 4 years & it’s been great! It’s like a safety check drive thru which works best for me, I can have all my babies with me & still get my safety check done! It’s convenient, friendly, affordable & I will continue to return!!

He’s quick and to the point with the safety inspection. Just have all the paperwork he needs and you’re good to go! (2019). This year: July 2020, he was cold and nasty, kept me waiting after doing the safety check, to talk to whoever, he might have been in a bad mood but that’s no excuse for trash customer service. I’ll never go back to this place. I strongly dislike mean, unprofessional excuses for humans!

Got my safety check... no problem... Ed Fong is pretty awesome. Had to wait 1hr 45min because it's the end of the month and everyone else who does safety checks in Nanakuli and Waianae are closed due to Thanksgiving weekend. Safety check is $30.

Really awesome shop especially for inspections! Unlike many places where appointments are made, then you wait anyway. I was a walk in and was serviced immediately with great customer service! Dont waste your time going to those commercial shops. If you're on the west side, its totally worth it to get your inspection done here! Thanks Ed??

For safety check this is an awesome place to go to. But when you need your vehicles repaired? Nope. They told me they renewed my fuel pump but it kept breaking so many times and i went back and used my warranty and same thing happened again. I went to a KNOWN and PROFESSIONAL autoshop to repair it and told me that the fuel pump that bee so called “renewed” was old. That it looked beaten up and the inside looks all worned out. They told me to go back to bee auto truck repair. i called bee but they said that they’ll need to charge me again for 900$ just to repair it. Why? Because i used up the warranty. I’ve done what bee told me to do for gas use which is not to use regular gas but it STILL BREAKS!. Hearing that bee totally fraud me over on a so called “new fuel pump” and paying 900$? They’re even lucky that i’m a poor mfker. If not i’d file a law suit. Also this place doesn’t look professional. Their office is a dump. Their bathroom is in the back that reeks with dog poo. And the mechanics aren’t even uniformed and don’t look like they like what they’re doing. Garbage. But for safety check? Eh...

Well it's a long wait for safety check..on web site says? Open 9am but when I got here at 9am they told me not until 10am so I've been waiting for an whole hour and still they haven't started doing safety....ugh!

A little bit of time in line for a safety, but extremely friendly and very professional! I always bring my cars here! Heads up though, if you fail, you've gotta sit in line twice. No fast pass for registration failures. Plan ahead, bring a lunch. No appointment required though!!
