I truly appreciate the aloha and efficiency at Dansen's. I booked my safety check appt with Shiloh several days in advance; she was so helpful and friendly. When I arrived for my appt, another lovely lady helped me (so sorry I didn't get her name). I waited in the waiting room for just 10 minutes...say what?! I've had appts elsewhere for safety checks that I've waited several hours for them to even start to look at my car, even though I had an appt. Mahalo nui to the mechanics and the rest of the Dansen's ohana for great service!
I was very thankful to receive a reminder from Dansen that my safety check was due— I had actually forgotten all about it. When I got there, I was greeted by two very polite and friendly employees, and the customer waiting area was cool, clean and comfortable. I was also very impressed that the wait time was short and the work was done in a timely manner. Thank you Dansen— I look forward to doing business with you in the future!
Car was taken in at time of appointment and service was done in reasonable time. At checkout they informed me of possible problems to look out for and what I needed to update before my next safety check. Very professional service.

Booked my appointment online for a safety check on Saturday. They responded quickly with a confirmed appointment that I wanted for Tuesday 08/20. Went in, gave the necessary paperwork and was told it would take 20 mins. They were done in 10. Paid and went on my way home. Fast and efficient service!

Wow, my safety check was done in record speed super human hero time. Within less than 10 minutes my car was ready. I was very impressed! They know I needed it right away because of my tight schedule and they accommodated me; I love them!

Completely satisfied. Oil change ,Trans fluid replaced , serpentine belt replaced , water pump replaced , upper / lower hose replaced , headlights replaced , rear 3rd brake light replaced, 4 tires and alignment done and a tune up . Vehicle was ready in 3 days price was exactly what I would expect from a NAPA certified mechanic shop . 2012 civic drives as smooth as my 2025 Subaru . Excellent service from start to finish .
If I could give ZERO stars I would! Let me just start by saying that Dansens DOES NOT do thorough work. Took my car in for a diagnosis on my AC system, was told that a “fallen pliers” had obstructed my “Hose”, sent that in to my warranty for it to be denied because of the “pliers”. Then quoted me $3,000 for repairs. I thought about just paying it to get it fixed then decided to go elsewhere for a second opinion from another shop, which I did and was told my condenser is leaking, that shop could not fix due to not having the tools needed to get to the condenser. Went and got a THIRD opinion from a different shop, they said the same thing, my condenser is leaking. Now hopefully my warranty can reconsider my case.
Almost $500 later just to figure out what is wrong with my AC system. Save yourself the time and money, Do NOT go to Dansens, even if they’re conveniently in your city. Go out and get the quality work done. I will never do business with them ever again.
To top it off, a few years back they did an oil change on my families car and FORGOT to put the oil. Blew her engine not even 1 mile out the shop engines blows and they tried their best to turn the tables on the owner of the car, but that did not succeed.

We always take our vehicles to Dansen’s for our family’s safety checks. The staff is always friendly, first choice appointment always available and the service is always quick. Wouldn’t take our vehicles any other place.
Dansen's auto repair did our safety check and I'm really satisfied with their service. Their workers were very helpful and service was prompt and it was done in less time that they told us it was gonna take. Their waiting room is also very clean.
Went to get my safety check done. Waited for 30 minutes during their lunch hour. Didnʻt mind waiting, everyone needs to eat. Was the first person in line to be helped. Said it would take 20 minutes, but it only took 10. Allowed me to leave my vehicle there while I went to DMV to pay for my registration. Came back and within minutes everything was done. Very helpful, efficient and great customer service.

I was greeted so kindly upon my arrival. Office staff couldn’t have been more cordial as I bombarded them with questions. They gave me an awesome referral for services they no longer offer for our 1957 classic German vehicle.
Before I knew it, my 2021 car was finished and certified, at noon! So much Aloha! Please support this team of friendly Professionals right here in Waianae! Best 15 minutes I’ve had in a long while!

The business office was very nice and efficient. They took my paper work and said it would be done in 20 minutes. To my surprise it was done in less than 20 minutes.
I paid the bill and was told to have a good day and I was on my way.
