Sold me a bad 5 speed for a focus then refused to refund my money cause I painted the transmission. I've worked in transmission shops all my life and this is the first time I've ran into this. Bad business and shady AF. Highly discourage doing business with these guys. Not very competent or pleasant to deal with
Purchase a headlight assembly thinking that the one that I had was defective, but it turns out it was the wiring harness that connected to the headlight was the issue so I didn’t need the headlight went to return it and was told there’s no refund on body parts. But from what I see on the receipt you can return within 14 days you’ll just have to pay the 35% restocking fee which I’m fine with. This is my last time going here I can tell you that much.
I just purchased a battery from them 4/24/24. I got a diagnostic test done on my vehicle 9/3/24 and my battery is at 26%. The only thing the guy on the phone could tell me is his battery in his vehicle has lasted over 2 years and his sons is lasting over a year and they have a 3 month policy and there’s nothing they can do. I see they care more about money than giving actual good service and solutions.
They did me right for an engine on my van. Very good people are flexible straight up, honestly. I'm going there again soon. Had to change my review from 5 stars to 1, after the second experience. The engine they sold me didn't work. They knew my van was in the shop and was having major repairs done. the shop could not start the engine when installed because of other vital parts needed. So I was out of warranty. But as I stated, the van has been in the shop since March. I at least thought they would reasonably see that being the motor was never used that at least give another motor or at least half my money back. The sad part about it is that the owner here knows my mechanic Sonko(@ Sonko's tire), we are all from this community of Austell. I'm out of 1000.00 and disappointed that a good moral judgment wouldn't supersede the business of making money. But I guess a 30-day warranty is a 30-day warranty no matter the customer or the situation.🤑😔
Them fellas not only work there, but actually have knowledge of vehicles. Top notch folks and place. If you need a used part for your car I highly recommend them.
New ownership - Customers can no longer walk the yard for what they're looking for or pull their own parts, even though the hold recording says they can. When I mentioned to the owner over the phone that the recording was out of date, he replied with "I appreciate customers telling me how to do my job" and then hung up. If that's how the new owners are, I won't be back.
(EDITED FOR GRAMMAR, TIME FRAME: 1 month ago as of 12/4/21) Spoke with Ali and had an agreement ALL day. JUST before the tow truck arrived they gave us a last second phone call. We were lowballed... HORRIBLY! We ended up paying DOUBLE what was initially spoken about. They waited until it was FAR TOO LATE and every place else was closed where we couldn't possibly seek another company to use. I would never recommend these crooks. If we could give negative stars, that is exactly what they would get.
Told them I stay an hr away but Won’t remove part until paid for. Paid for part then said they’ll call once removed. called few days later saying vehicle was inventoried wrong so part I needed wasn’t available so now I have to drive another hr for a refund. First and last time shopping here.
Best place to get car parts on a budget on this side. And you DONT have to pull your own part. Their pricing is very reasonable and it's the same guys at the counter year after year. Friendly bunch of folks, you can ask them anything about a part and they know their stuff.i have been going to them for years for my past 4 cars. Limited parking by door but that's minor.
this is one of very few junk yards that are still around that actually still parked off the cars. They usually got what you need here and the people are super friendly and willing to help you and that's what count the only bad thing is you really have to look for the place so is Tonga not noticeable at first other than that great business they do
Not wheelchair friendly. Has small gravel parking lot and metal debris to watch out for. Employees are very helpful when looking for used parts, if they don't have it they will refer you to who might.
This place absolutely sucks because they don't let you know that if once you buy a part you cannot get your money back they only give you a certain percentage but they will give you another part if they have it but you constantly have to do that work over again it sucks it sucks it sucks
Before you call... PLEASE make sure you make them check to see if they actually have the part.. called them drove 50 miles for me to wait 2 hrs for them to tell me they dont have the parts.. save yourself sometime and make them check twice.. also theyre not very vocal about anything so if its taking too long or if you dont know whats going on.. you most likely wont.
This place is the worst place every Idk how they are even in business they refused to let me return my item even when I still had warrenty left on it then when I bought the transmission didnt even help put it in then didnt even drain the fluid out when they gave it to me and got it all over the trunk of car. EVERYONE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ANGRY EMPLOYEES WITH ATTITUDES EVERYTIME I CALLED OR WENT THERE WATCH YOUR BACKS!!!!!
Helen, ( behind the counter) went out of her way to help me find a fender.
When she couldn't find one in good shape, she ordered a non factory replacement to finish the project. No additional charge. Great place!!
Sold me a faulty alternator and told me it was good. Tried selling a car, was told I would be called by the tow truck driver when they arrived. Driver never showed up and these people had the nerve to hang up on me when I called to ask for a status update. These fraudsters should be shut down.
First of all when i walked in three men were sitting at the help desk no one greeted me finally one said can i help u i told him i need a spare tire (which is a donut tire) which is in the trunk of a car i was there 25 mins and the guy that went at my spare still wasnt back i heard someone say didnt he go to lunch so after 25 mins hit i walkd out and left because that was a couple mins job and no one cared that i had been sittin there not to mention a freakin cat was in the building and ran past me and i hate those things this place is a joke and so are the people they just a bunch of country fools in glad i dnt have to ever do business with these clowns again
I called on a Saturday morning asking about a 15 inch wheel for a Chevy Cobalt and was told the price was $35 yet when my wife went by to pick it up they told her it was $65. He paid the price and left because she was very uncomfortable with the store and the area. I called back to talk to them about it and they denied it completely and we're very rude I would never shop there again and I would recommend that no one shops there as they are not honest about their prices and practice bait-and-switch practices. The person on the phone had a strong country accent if that's who you talk to hang up immediately.
Quoted me $400 for a rear suspension assembly plus the differential only to have charged me $530. They wouldn't honor their price and then gave me the wrong parts. It took them giving me the wrong parts for them to give me my money back. Some of the guys are nice but overall it's a badly run business.
