Just moved to the area from Wisconsin and needed a good and fair shop to maintain our vehicles. Well thanks to facebook and google reviews we have found in my opinion the best! Needed a starter and an oil change and it was done fast and UNDER budget! Thanks to Tanner and his crew for GREAT SERVICE at a very fair price! We will return and in fact our other vehicle is there for an oil change as I'm posting this review.
Exceptional and friendly service and fair pricing. Had a check engine light on, likely due to an oil leak. Tanner changed the oil and filter, rotated the tires, and checked the engine light issue and it was due to low oil pressure. About 45 minutes later, I'm back on the road good as new. Highly recommend and we'll definitely be coming back for our future automotive needs.
Hands down the best shop I’ve taken a vehicle into. Everyone was nice, professional, and above all very knowledgeable. Needed my truck leveled alone with some other work and from the beginning I knew I had made the right choice. If I could give 10 stars I would. High quality work for a very reasonable price. These are the best guys for the job no questions asked!!

Amazing customer service. Took my daughter’s car for a possible break pad replacement. Got a call saying her breaks still has a little life to them. I loved his honesty he fixed the little squeaky noise but stated I needed transmission work. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone. Thank you again

In Cleveland on Saturday am & Tanner checked out everything and discovered that my steering wheel fluid was low. I didn’t realize that the steering system & the breaking systems were interconnected! After a very few minutes I was on my way & he didn’t charge me anything.
I know if I lived in this area, this young man would be my mechanic for sure!!

Wonderful experience! We had a minor inconvience today as we were leaving for an out of town trip! We got our car up there and Tanner was able to get the parts delivered and the repairs done in amazing time! And the price was beyond reasonable! Wonderful people! Very thankful to have them close by, it’s always nice to have a mechanic you can count on!
This shop is run by an individual who understands automotive mechanics, is clearly comfortable in his own skin and driven naturally by a code of ethics and inherent “reasonableness”. Polite, curious and a seemingly genuinely want to help. It was just a couple of quick checks but he handled me immediately, showed me his findings, refused to accept payment, and even sent me to a shop for the (muffler) repair I needed. -His referral, btw was equally easy, fast and a lot less expensive than what I was bracing myself for.
Excellent mechanic! Very knowledgeable, fast turnaround and made accurate first time diagnosis. You’d be surprised how rare that is getting these days. Will definitely be back for my future needs.
Have had 2 outstanding experiences with Mountain Automotive. Brought the wife's car in for service and followed that up by bringing my truck in for service. Great prices and super friendly service. Y'all come check it out. You won't be disappointed.
I have used him twice. First just to inspect and repack wheel bearings on a trailer. This time to replace all struts, serpentine belt and tensioner on a honda accord. Each experience has been great. Great price, great service that is efficient and thorough. Highly recommend if you need a good mechanic that is honest!

I didn't think to take any photos, but this drive up Oil Change worked out so good that I just had to put in a review.
First off the guy was so nice, you could tell that he valued your patronage, and that's worth everything to me.
The price was right. I had called Valvoline and they told me $99 plus taxes and unknown fees ( probably for oil disposal) but anyway, you slice it, it was going to be upwards of a hundred bucks, just for a synthetic oil change on my little Buick..
Mountain Automotive charged me half that and I was in and out in 10 mins flat.
Highly, highly recommend.
One key point for me was how nice the guy was, you leave there feeling like you were happy to support that local business because the guy treated you like a fellow human being not just a customer. I can't say Thank You enough..!
I've recommended Mountain Automotive to those I know and to y'all reading these reviews. I took my car in about a month ago to get new brakes and an oil change. I don't believe they take appointments, but we got there when they opened and was able to get right in. Tanner was very pleasant and his prices were very responsible. I find him to be an honest automotive mechanic and appreciate his quality of work. My husband took my mom's truck in recently to get looked at. There was a loose wire which he tighten for her. I don't know what was discussed about the truck, but he didn't even charge her to tighten the wire. I appreciate how he went above and beyond. I highly recommend him
I needed all of my front-end lights replaced and an oil change. I was quoted 3-4 hours, to be on the safe side, and Tanner was done in 1.5hrs. I was pleasantly shocked and we’ll definitely be going back.
Good people, honest and fair! Got my car running better than it ever has. So thankful we found a great mechanic who didn’t lie about the work needing done! Easy to communicate with, quick response times, and the work was done in a few hours!
Another shop in town was going to charge me 1800 to fix my car . They did it for less than 400. Great honest car shop. Definitely will recommend and definitely will never use another shop. Thank you for your honesty.
What a car shop should be! Passing through town with my boys on a fishing trip when my truck’s engine started acting funny. They were able to diagnose and fix it within an hour. He cranked out two repairs and an oil change by himself all while I sat there for an hour. Highly recommend this place. No bs, great price, honest shop.
We stopped in for an oil change and we were in and out within 15 minutes! My daughter loved the toy area for kids. I will definitely use them for any maintenance needs!
