Can’t say enough good things about BJ and his team!!! I was on a road trip when my check engine light came on. I was recommended to come to ARI by a local tire shop and BJ immediately ran a diagnostic on my car and made the repair within 30 minutes. So kind and professional and honest.

A+ in every aspect. It is apparent the owners Billy and Frank strive for 100% customer satisfaction. I had the front struts, shocks and steering column repaired. The car runs better than ever. What I appreciated the most was their integrity, first explaining what the repair would entail and the estimate. However after diagnosing the steering column rattle, they called to inform me it was only a joint that warranted replacement and not the entire intermediate shaft like they anticipated. The repair cost was substantially less than the original estimate . That, has never happened to me. These men not only take pride in repairing your car, they are as honest as the day is long. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you ARI!

We had unexpected trouble with our brakes suddenly grinding while driving the mountain roads at Brasstown Bald. It was 3PM on a Thursday and we needed to begin our drive that night back to Florida. I called about 5 different shops nearby and they all said they were full, or they didn't have the rack or the staff available to do it. A nice fellow at Pritchard's actually recommended that I try ARI. When I called, the owner, Billy, was very understanding and said he could get it done, so I told him I was headed straight there. We literally pulled in at 4pm and were leaving there by 5pm with new brake pads and rotors on my 2022 Toyota 4Runner. On top of that the price was very fair and the people there were nice. It was obviously a well-run auto shop. I would highly recommend ARI to anyone!

My engine light went on. My husband usually takes care of car matters, so I was a bit out of my element. I googled best mechanic near me. I read the reviews of ARI and felt confident it was a good place to go. I went without appt and explained my engine light was on. Frank and Billy went above and beyond to accommodate getting my car in and running diagnostics. BJ who does scheduling was equally professional and courteous. They are very busy .. understandably, because of their honest and great service. I would not hesitate to go to ARI for all my future auto repairs or maintenance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We were pulling a camper from out of town when my right rear brake began smoking and even the tire became very hot. I called them on Thursday afternoon. They were very friendly and professional on the phone and stated I could bring the truck in Friday morning around 8:45. Upon arrival they wasted no time looking into my issue and got me back on the road within a couple of hours. I was very pleased with their service and would recommend them to everyone.

In from Texas and brakes started making noises. I called them and they said they were busy but to bring it by and they would at least see what was wrong. Turned out to need brakes all around. They worked me in right away and replaced the brakes and got me back on the road. BJ and Billie were the best, and so were the mechanics. Highly recommend this shop!

You wont find a better auto mechanic shop in my opinion. Honesty, integrity, you will find it here! They stay busy mind you! A good shop always will! Be patient and you wont be disappointed. UPDATE: Have been a customer here for a long time now. I live 30 miles away and I will keep coming here as long as I'm in range to bring my vehicles here. I would recommend ARI to anyone! Honesty, integrity, quality, care, and NONE of those things that so often give mechanics a bad name. I trust these guys more than my dealership and I like my dealership! Absolutely the best experience I’ve had in a shop, while under the circumstances. They were honest about the price needed for the repairs and even during the snow storm they provided updates on how my Jeep was comin along. I highly recommend to anybody near or far. Trust me, it’s worth it. Repairs - rebuilt transmission replaced and oil filter assembly (gasket) plus a couple small minor things. Definitely where I’d be comin from here on out, make your way down the road if you want trustworthy service! Thank you Billy BJ and mechanics for all you do!

Out of towners found ourselves needing immediate service on Mercedes Sprinter van; went to ARI which was highly recommended by locals. Very honest and very knowledgeable. Was concerned moving to the area that I would never replace my previous mechanic of 15 years but ARI has taken the challenge. I've taken my 4runner with 250k miles here several times now and they are extremely knowledgeable, timely, and well priced. I cannot recommend them enough

Last month, my Nissan Frontier had no issue during our long drive to Helen, GA during a week of torrential Spring storms. As we were dashing in and out of rain showers while exploring Cleveland's antique and thrift stores, I discovered my engine would not turn over and all the icons including the check engine light would appear on the dash, and then it would not power down even with the key out. We removed the battery cables and cleaned the battery terminals. I would let the system settle for a few minutes and then it would start and run without issue, but the check engine light would reappear after a few minutes. I asked O'Reilly Auto Parts to check it with the quickie system checker but nothing appeared. I asked for directions to the best mechanic for this issue and they recommended ARI. ARI put it on their laptop system checker and several codes appeared that they contributed to a "glitch" in the system, so they were able to do a hard-start (aka "electronic slap in the head") and clear the system. They verified my newer battery was still good and did not charge me for a bunch of guess work parts changing that other shops probably would have. They were quick and professional, and I had no other issues for the rest of my trip. Great Service!

Just finished writing the guys a card in appreciation for their work. On Monday, my older son's Honda Civic was in for a power steering leak. That afternoon he picked up his car, fully repaired and ready to be back on the road. That evening, I reflected on the fact that my family had been doing business with ARI for over twenty years, our son who is almost 21 wasn't even born! And, ironically, the first vehicle they repaired was a Honda Civic (a/c compressor failure). Though I try to do all the service & repairs on my vehicles, when I know I'm out of my league, I take them to the ones I trust to get the job done-the guys at ARI!

Honest shop that knows what they are talking about. I have a fleet of vehicles and generally do all my own maintenance, but I needed an engine swapped and I didn't have time. ARI did a phenomenal job, they didn't cut any corners, and the initial quote was spot on. I appreciate the fact they used all OEM fluids from the dealership.

Wife and I were headed to Helen for the weekend. As we entered Cleveland, battery light came on. I saw ARI up ahead on the map, so we limped in there. They were busy, but late Thursday afternoon they immediately jumped on it. They determined the alternator would only charge at idle. Mercedes alternator was hard to find. They called a friend of theirs to drive us on up to Helen with all our luggage. The next day at noon they called saying it was ready. We used the friend to take us back. Old alternator was covered in oil from an old leak and eventually just burned herself up. Needless to say they are fantastic. I was worried we would be stuck for days waiting on service from someone or towing us back to Atlanta, but they pulled it through for us. It came out cheaper than what I had thought based on my research that night. Great job, wish they were closer to us. Apparently everyone who heard our story in Helen that weekend knew ARI was the place to go for service.

We are from out of town and our car was having some issues, we brought it in to see Billy and he was exceptional. He helped us swiftly even though he had a lot on his plate. If you’re ever in this area and you need help with your car, i highly recommend coming here.

Traveled to Helen, GA from FL and check emissions light came on 6 hours into the trip. Contacted ARI Auto and Billy assisted me. He diagnosed the problem and I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip at ease. Great customer service and quality work for cost.

We've been customers for right at 12 years. Whether it is our Lexus or our Dodge, these guys do incredible precision work. If I was in Timbuktu and my car broke down, I'd have it towed to ARI to get the work done. They are honest, smart, fast and offer the best imaginable customer service.

These guys are amazing. I was on vacay near Helen and had trouble with what I thought was my transmission. My car is under warranty so I was struggling with scenarios on how to get my car to a dealership 70 miles away. I fortunately checked out ARI based on the reviews and they found a disconnected turbo hose which they identified and fixed in less than an hour. Incredibly honest and efficient. They saved the vacation and I made the several hundred mile trip home with no issue. Price was VERY reasonable as well. These guys are the best. I wish they were in my hometown. Can't thank them enough.

After taking my car to a few different automotive shops I found this wonderful place!! They were professional and courteous from the first phone call. I am updating my first review. My car did have a problem after the first visit and I called them back and they took my car back the same day and did research into they kind of car and similar problems my type of car has. Got it back in a short amount of time and didn't pay an arm and a leg for the second time. So far it has been almost a month later and my car is still running great and I haven't had a problem since. PLEASE if you need work on your car take it here!!! They are fantastic ?

We were out of town and the Jeep was not shifting out of first and we couldn't drive anywhere to enjoy the vacation. ARI was quick to figure out the problem and able to get us up and running quickly so that we could enjoy the remainder of our vacation. Top notch, professional service. Fair & honest to deal with. Honestly, I should have written this review last year. I have a old cars so they need work here and there and ARI, (usually Billy) is always able to get us in quick or recommend a trustworthy place if it's work they don't perform (windshields, tires, etc.). We've never had problems with the work they did and every time I am surprised how fair the prices are. Thanks ARI!
