My daughter and her husband and I have been so pleased with how we have been treated by Kristin, Sandy, Lewis and the crew at Crenshaw. My daughter just had an A/C issue with her older car and they took care of it even tho it was quite difficult. We've used them 8-10 times and will return. Thanks, Bruce

Do not waste your time with this place whatsoever, my AC had been out for about a year, they did a diagnostic and said I had a hole in my AC condenser and it would cost about $670 to fix it. I agreed and scheduled a time, they had my car for a few days and when I picked it up the AC seemed to work. A day and a half later it went out again, I drove it back & they said they didn't see any issue with it, but assured me it was running now. A couple hours later I got a call from the mechanic asking if he had left a set of keys underneath my hood, he had, and drove to my house to pick them up. A day later the AC was out again, this time they said it was a leak in my AC lines and assured me that for $300-$350 more they could repair them. I scheduled a time & confirmed with them and drove there on the confirmed date. I dropped off my car for the day and once again spent money on uber to get me home. When I showed back up to the shop around 4 they said that they couldn't get it in that day and I would have to bring it back again. They also mentioned I had a coolant leak and it was leaking into my heater core and they could fix it but they'd have to go to through the glovebox. I told them I couldn't afford that and just wanted the AC to be fixed. I set another date for the AC lines to be fixed and during that time I noticed a crack on my dashboard leading to the glovebox and noticed the glovebox was no longer was latching (I had never had an issue with this before). A day later, my glove compartment completely fell out (pictures attached). I called them and asked if they had gone in my glove compartment and they denied they had. I was frustrated, but I brought the car back a couple days later, so they could resolve the AC issue and move on. When I showed up there was a new lady working the front desk & she told me in all of the 15 years of her working there, she had never known them to repair AC lines, but I could order new lines for more money. I agreed reluctantly and a few days later once again dropped my car off for the new AC lines to be attached. After another day without my car and spending more money on Uber to get around, I showed up at the shop at 4 again, hoping it was finally finished. They told me they had ordered the wrong AC lines and that they weren't even sure if they could find the correct ones. I asked to talk to the owner and upon calling him and asking him what the deal was, he was rude, aggressive, and confrontational, saying it wasn't his fault and that my car was just old and that I couldn't expect him to drop everything to fix it. A few days later, I got a call from the original woman behind the desk and she told me they actually could in fact get the AC lines repaired. I took it to the shop again, dropping it off for the day, when I picked it up I felt hopeful that this issue was finally resolved and paid the remaining couple hundred dollars. The next morning my AC was out again, I was in disbelief. I took it back and the owner examined it and said I need a whole new compressor which would run me another $6-700 & that may not fix it and there could be more leaks in the AC lines which could also be a couple hundred dollars more. After a month of bringing my car back in the shop for a total of about 8-9 times and spending money on uber/arranging for family to pick me up, missing work, & spending $1000 in total, I had no AC & a broken glove box. I was reasonable through this whole process and treated the employees with respect and courtesy, but if you're thinking about taking your business here, think again. .

This shop fixed my ford f 250 diesel. They did a great job fixing only what needed to be done without trying to upsell me. I would highly recommend this company!

They were honest, friendly, and great communicators. The work was done quickly and correctly. We will be back.

Had a great experience recently when I had to take my truck in because the brakes and power steering went out. Originally had it at another place and they were quoting me twice as much as I got it done at Crenshaw. Had it back in a couple of days which was faster than I thought it would be done. And since I only lived a mile away they dropped it off at my house.

Small shop that does various job repairs. Appears that they have two locations. Did a few thousands dollars repair, had some issues with the service which I waited for a call back for more than a week. After trying to contact the shop multiple times for a while and not getting a call back for more than a week, someone called me sometime later. However, I did not get my car fixed there for the second car. They NEVER called me back with a quote. Regarding the first vehicle repair, it was done in reasonable time. I replaced both heads and valves for a LT V8 motor. At this moment still working good. The issue will be looked into it, so this review is pending. Also, I had to add motor oil two weeks later, needing 2 qts. The vehicle does not burn oil. Going to do a follow-up and update the service and stars later. Just keep in mind that any large service may take a while to get started, as they appear to be loaded with jobs. Small services they may accommodate sooner.

I just want to say to everyone in Cherokee County and Jasper that the people at Crenshaw automotive are crooks and to not trust them. My truck was there back in July and August. I was told I’d have it back within a few weeks. After playing phone tag with them for over a month. I finally got my truck back after spending a little over 4K to seal oil leaks in the engine block. When the truck went in the shop it had brand new batteries and a rebuilt alternator which was tested since that was a recent fix also. Since then I have moved a couple hours away. The people at Crenshaw will not answer the phone or return a phone call. My truck is still leaking oil and to make matters worse now it won’t hold a charge and at this point (today) can’t even be jumped off! Just a warning to who you trust your vehicle with!

My ex girlfriend (long story) took her car and an eighty point inspection she didn't ask for when she got her oil changed at Chloe's, and of the laundry list of things Chloe's wanted to do to her car, Crenshaw said the tires didn't need to be replaced, still had plenty of tread, they couldn't find the nails that were allegedly in the tires, said her belts and timing chain all looked good, and rather than replacing the heat shield they just added a bolt and then changed her transmission fluid because it was overdue. They saved her hundreds if not thousands.

Im proud to say Crenshaw’s Automotive is my mechanic. I pass dozens of places just to get my car in Eric’s hands. And Christy rocks too. Very competitive pricing, good service. 10/10 recommend.

BEWARE! If I could give a 0 star I would! This has been the worst experience I have ever had. I’m not even sure how this place is still open. And from the reviews I see I’m not the only one who feels this way. They have absolutely no Communication, they kept my car multiple times when they would promise it would be ready and then it wouldn’t. I scheduled multiple times to have it diagnosed and will drop it off and then they wouldn’t have time to do it and it would’ve been a waste of me with no car that all day. We went in for a wheel bearing at first and then they told us we needed the other wheel bearing done so we did it and then they told us it was still making noise because we needed new tires so we went and got new tires and the car still felt the same even after these three fixes. So they told us to bring it in to try to figure out what is going on couldn’t figure it out the first time then the second time they said it was a spindle we dropped off our car to get the spindle fixed and they had ordered the wrong part so we wasted another day without a car. Finally dropped it off got both spindles replaced they assured us everything was fixed I started driving it and it felt worse than day one. I feel cheated and lied to. We have now taken it to two other mechanics at two different shops and they told us they did a horrible job fixing this car and that the problem is the back wheel bearing so the whole thing was miss diagnosed. Now we are out the money the car drives worse than it did and we’re still at square one. Other mechanics said do not ever go back to this place. They noticed that they jammed on our parts instead of pressing them on like should have been done. I am a very easy-going person but this has been a total nightmare and I usually don’t leave bad reviews but I do not want someone else to have this done to them. Pls pls be cautious of this place. And on two separate occasions they told us they would leave our keys in our car when they close so we could pick it up that night and the keys were not in there. Also on two separate occasions when we were dropping the car off there were cops they are looking for someone who worked there and the parking lot on another occasion smelled like weed. We tried to call to figure something out and they could’ve cared less. As to the reply from the shop I am adding to my review everything that was responded about is an absolute lie I am stunned. This shop did the diagnostics told us what was wrong and every time they would switch what was wrong after they fix some thing and it was still doing the same thing. Our tires were worn but are the correct size and that has nothing to do with the diagnostic when you left a car up and pressing the gas to spend the wheels to see what is going on. The police officer that was there that morning specifically asked me and my husband when there would be someone here because he was looking for someone. You all claim to do your own diagnostics and now you’re going back on it.

I highly recommend Crenshaw Automotive to everyone I know! They’re the only ones our family trusts with our cars. Their prices have always been the best, they’re incredibly honest and trustworthy and always get our cars back to us as fast as they can. If I could give ten stars I would! Thank you for always taking such great care of our family and making sure we’re safe!

I really have to brag about Crenshaw Automotive! Every vehicle we own has been there. When we first found them we were checking prices and they were the lowest so we gave them a try and loved their service! I just picked my Yukon up from them this afternoon. My front wheel bearing/hub assembly went out and it was bad! When I drove it home this afternoon I was just as impressed as I have been every time we have taken a car there. My car drives better than the day I bought it ? Since we went to them the first time about a year and half ago we haven’t been anywhere else. We love this place and as long as they are in business we will continue to take our cars to Crenshaw!!

Big thanks! Was leaking fluid from my engine. They got me in right away, diagnosed the issue (a flaw from my oil change elsewhere), and fixed it no-charge. Was in and out in minutes. Highly recommend.

Complete lack of communication. They have had my son's car for over a month. They do not return my calls, they have not once called me to keep me informed on what is going on. We feel like our car has been taken hostage. Worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic.

If you are looking for a local mechanic you can trust, this is your place. These guys go out of their way to be helpful, and they do business the right way!

I will not go anywhere else. Recently moved into area. Got a quote from them to replace hybrid battery in my Prius. Crenshaw beat out any other shop with same warranty. All personal treated me with respect and were over the top professional. A special thanks to Kristen for your help and patience! Great experience!

We've been taking our cars here for about 5 years. Excellent work, more than fair prices, and a large variety of services not available at other garages. ( wiring for lights and other accessories, installation of custom parts ) My husband is an aircraft maintenance inspector, nit picky, persnickety, hard to please... If he's not complaining, these folks must be darn close to perfect.

I went to Crenshaw Automotive to install new brake pads, and rotors and they quoted me a LOW price. After further inspection by another shop Crenshaw left the original rotors on my car and shaved down the original and put the new brake pads on top and causing my rotors warped. I had to get both the brake pads and rotors completely replaced because Crenshaw Automotive did a scam job and tried take short cuts. This is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and I or my newborn child could’ve been seriously injured. STAY AWAY from this SCAM of a repair shop.

I paid a lot of money to have my diesel motor bulletproofed by them. They seem like honest nice people. They inspected my vehicle thoroughly before giving me the estimate and finish date. I called them a few days before flying back to pick it up and they said it would be ready? They were two weeks late on there finish date even though they told me to fly back and pick it up? I had to wait around a town i no longer lived in for two weeks while it sat in there shop not being worked on?Every time i stopped by there was no one working on it and they said they're mechanic had not come in for days? When I did pick it up It broke down on me on three separate occasions on my work trip west and back. Thankfully i did have AAA.One of the new repair shops showed me the old brittle plastic rocker clips were reinstalled in my new heads and there was a broken oil rail bolt . The plastic bits had gone through my oil system. The repair bill was thousands. I made an appointment with the Crenshaw family owner when i was driving back through Woodstock to install an oil bypass filter system at my own expense but upon arriving the employees didn't know anything about it and the bypass filter system wasn't there? I had my time wasted once again.Crenshaw's was expensive, unreliable and did not stand behind there work or there promised schedule. The owner did give me a used oil rail bolt to replace the broken one in my engine and said they would have some new plastic guide clips for me if I came back later? I came back two days later and the employees once again knew nothing about it and the clips were not there? The cost to have these parts reinstalled correctly was not offered to me?

Crenshaw automotive is a place you want to do business with. With the amount of or lack their of integrity in the automotive business, Eric and his team are just the opposite. These guys are the real deal and they have two locations. Highly, highly recommend. Wish I would have started doing business with them sooner.

This is this kind of auto-shop that fits the stereotype. had an engine rebuilt by them just to have it break down on the highway and had to pay someone else to redo everything. Surely there is a safety checklist of things they must check before sending someone off on their way... They are big on verbal contracts only they can remember. Needless to say, I don't recommend this place.

They are so very honest and so very accommodating. We take all of our cars there 3 of them to be fixed.
