This is a place that you can go one time and understand exactly what you're doing. The lady that runs the scales is very polite and efficient. The yard is always clean and there's always something going on and dumping is always fast pase
This place is a joke. In order for me to donate my old water heater, they expected me to back into 6"-8" of water and mud to get out and unload it myself. While they stand around in the building and watch me. I went somewhere else.
Quick process, I was in and out! I really just wanted to say thank you and well done to the lady working at the front whose son offered me a slice of his pizza & made my day!
Great staff as long as you treat them with the respect they deserve, as you should. They always get me in and out as quick as possible. I go at least once a week, and will continue as long as the doors are open. Highly recommend. Thank you Woodstock Recycling for doing your thing.
I've had shaky experiences there in the past, but I went again today because they are only a couple exits from my house. They weighed me on video, told me where to back up, had their tractor operator unload my junk safes, and threw them in the pile. Weighed me again, on camera , and gave me a receipt to take to the front.
At which point the person up front told me no, they don't take safes.
I don't care if they are next door to me. Never Again.
Came up here with insulated wire, they said that it was "breakage/iron" which was $.120/lbs compared to insulated copper which was $1.18/lbs. They ripped me off and went with a guess of how much it was rather than the actual weight they had from the scale. I would highly recommend going anywhere else, the girls were rude as hell and didn't do their job in the right manner.
Yesterday was my first visit here. The entire staff was very friendly and polite! Happy to recommend them to anyone in need to recycle metals! Great place! Excellent service!
Very disappointed, several hundred pounds of scrap metal , only got $8.
The lady working was less than pleasant, acted like I was supposed to know what to do! My first time there, won’t go back !! Not very professional
These ppl are so crooked it's unreal. My husband made two separate loads of scrap aluminum and other things and when he drove off he noticed the low low amount they gave him and went back. The lady in the office said " ow I printed someone else's check". Completely lied because my husband saw the name his name on the other check. Smh and they have signs saying"God bless, and God will look after you"! Needless to say well make the trip to Marietta recycling, because they don't try to cheat you!
I went to this location for the first time yesterday and it was a very easy process. They were very friendly and helpful and they pay more for aluminum than other places. I will definitely go back!
I love the staff however if i have to be honest their scales NEVER show your weight when you drive on them for steel weight.....so therefore your left unsure that they are working properly...if not that issue i would have given them 5 stars!!
Would not recommend it, nails everywhere and they don't have no intention to clean it up, tried to pull up a little further away and was told to back up all the way, just by glancing on the ground I saw all kind of screws, wire pieces that I had to run over, comparing it to other scrap yards this one falls way behind.
Our washer broke on a Friday, no repair man until Wednesday- Upon arrival I was greeted with a smile and Chris and Alex carried my laundry in to get setup! We are a family of 6 so I had 95 lbs of laundry and had intentions of doing it myself, but their wash and dry service is worth every penny! I brought hangers and all hanging items were hung- Very clean, very friendly and unbelievably convenient! Consider freshening up your comforters and bulky blankets this Spring with their large state-of-the -art washer & dryers or use the wash, fold, dry service!
Pricing is terrible! Doesn't come close to competitors for penny's by the pound. The scrapyard was covered in nails and sharp metal in the driving area. It is not worth risking a tire for. I was very disappointed.
Awsome experience! Everyone is very helpful here from the time I pull in to the time I pull out and leave! As an owner of a small business I often have scrap metal debris to dump. This is the only place I will ever go. Will recommend to anyone and everyone!!!
