Been dealing with this company for 15+ years. I received a part that the customer refused and was sub par. Now out 1500 for something in a scrap pile. Thank you peacock for your not so great service
I installed cameras here. The have indoor inventory, they can also get parts from yard all over the US. Very competitive prices on rims for a final 500 oldsmobile. Find me a replacement I've I had the style number so I knew what to order.
Absolutely A+ customer service from Bob., who is the man because he had my fender, in good condition, at the best price. Great communication from the jump.
Every time I go there to get something it's there. I have had many different types of cars and they have had parts for all, even tires with rims for the car I needed them for. The prices be mouth dropping in a good way 🤫 don't tell them 😅
Nothing against the place but made a call earlier on 12/27/21 and the person who answered was very rude.I said I needed a 1997 honda steering knuckles for a project I'm doing that has abs she was not listening and asked me again what I need it for I then repeated what I said. She asked if i needed the for a two door, four door,or hatchback i said it dosent matter I just need the abs version of of the steering knuckles because there interchangeable on the project I'm working on. She then said it does matter because the part numbers are different. It is the same part for every civic from 1996 -2000.Very rude indeed.
I had a great experience dealing with this salvage yard today. Clean waiting area, everyone was nice and professional. If they have parts I need in the future, I will definitely return.
They have about every kind of used auto and truck parts that are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly and great. I would recommend this place to anyone.
This place was clean neat and full of nice folks Bob was so helpful and sat and talked with me while I waited and they were quick too worth the trip to get a transmission. Thumbs up!
BUYER BEWARE Their return policy is tricky. Before I purchased my items, I asked what the retro policy was. I was told I had 30 days to return anything, with the receipt. BUT....... when I called to return my items, I was THEN informed there would be a restocking fee of 25%. My issue is that I was NOT informed that was the case until later I called them. THEN THEY DECIDED TO TELL ME TO READ THE WRITING ON THE BACK OF THE RECEIPT. BAD BUSINESS IN MY OPINION.
Was a fast transaction but I couldn't get anyone to help me start the car once it was purchased and I don't think anyone's going to quit stalking me now that I purchased one to get home. They're going to keep on until they hurt me in the state of Georgia they have followed me around for six years... some attorney. Throughout the media. I don't know if it's someone in South Carolina looking for drugs or if it's someone over Covid stalking. Enterprise? Sprint? Arizona's attorneys for identity theft? The unions again? Hollywood? SC. FL. CA? Over a Ralph or a Jack still?
I’ve called on several occasions, and stopped by looking for parts and their call back, and phone courtesy is terrible. They act like they are doing you a favor by talking to you! I won’t be looking for anything from them.
I've purchased from Peacock more than 20 individual items and I've never had trouble with the transaction nor the product. This is a very good salvage yard with very reasonable prices.
They have a TON of salvage cars, so u should be able to find what u need. However they took like 15 fn minutes to ask me wat i needed. Have some patience or just ask them to hurry tf up if ur ballsy/in a rush.
They have a problem waiting on a woman!! I was standing there for a few minutes they waited on a couple of men!! Yes I said that I was there first!! But I was over looked again!! Woman know about parts to!!
I could not have asked for a better experience. I called this morning and spoke to Bob who was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was given an estimated time for when my vehicle would be picked up and detailed instructions for what I would need to do. About half an hour before the estimated time, I received a phone call from the driver informing me of the time he would arrive and I didn't need to wait a minute longer. Everyone I dealt with was kind and professional.
Called to confirm a motor was available, sales rep said it was, took the old engine out and got there and the engine quoted was inoperable. Knowledgeable staff explained the situation but wasted time and money on the old engine when I could've just junked the car...
I have a 99 monter sport great truck at least it was
I needed a radiator and chose peacock for a cheap buy
The first radiator they gave me leaked and the top blew up on it all and all it was a.... p.o.s all together I ASSUME THATS WHY I GOT A 60 DAY WARRANTY RATHER THAN THE REGULAR 30 DAYS ONE
I took it back they replaced it with another one they had... Well this one was alright except yesterday i was driving and all of a sudden the truck lost power and began to smoke
It wasnt running hot or anything i tried to make it off the road but then it happened BOOM!!!! the radiator blew up completely
A certified mechanic came and told me that the radiator was clogged up and had been for a minute (had old stop leak in the resolver and all over the engine bay)
And they cherry on top IT TOOK MY MOTOR OUT WITH IT ... Now i have a truck thats a big paper weight due to me trusting this auto salvage parts place that they would at least sell me a half way good product for a low price the price was right but the product was junk
THANK YOU PEACOCK FOR SELLING JUNK PARTS AND DESTROYING YET ANOTHER CAR
BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!! STAY CLEAR FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR VEHICLE
TRY ACKERMAN OR JUST BUY NEW
Called to buy a used Transfer Case. Amanda and Stan both said they had one in stock. I Gave them my credit card number so they would hold it for me until Friday. Three days later(it is Friday now, 4 hours before pickup), I called to make sure we were good to go, they told me they would call me back in ten minutes. An hour later I hadn’t heard from them so I called again. This time I was put on hold for a few minutes, then afterwords told ‘we don’t have it’. Astonishing customer service.
Called ahead to confirm they had a door for a car. They confirmed they had one in stock. Waited a hour in the lobby, waited for a ride to inspect said door. Only to find out that they already took off the door, laid it on the ground and then ran it over with their own vehicle. All without telling me that this occurred while I waited in lobby. Terrible customer service while having zero communication.
