Needed a tow in a stressful situation and Cheshire Towing in Saint Augustine came through fast and professionally. The driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and handled everything with care from start to finish. Communication was clear, pricing was fair, and the whole process was way smoother than expected. It’s hard to find companies that still take pride in customer service, but these guys definitely do. Highly recommend Cheshire Towing if you need reliable help on the road in the Saint Augustine area.

Don’t be fooled by the negative comments, this company is AMAZING! My 82 year old father and I were stranded and had tried to receive help through AAA but they couldn’t even give us an estimated time of arrival after an hour of waiting. It was going on 1 am in the morning so I called Cheshires Towing and they arrived to us in 30 min. Jassen was INCREDIBLY skilled, kind, compassionate and truly a savior for us. The price to tow was what I would have expected. Do yourself a favor and call them if you are in need of a tow, they are OUTSTANDING…a true gem!

arrived more than an hour late (this is only after i had to call them to remind them about a towing that i called days in advance for) i was a fool to trust this company and i am deeply upset. they quoted me a fair price.

I arrived to find this company actively towing my vehicle with it already lifted on the truck. I had to pay $75 on the spot to have the car released. The driver claimed the vehicle was parked in a fire zone. If that is accurate, the area was not clearly marked as such. There were no visible signs or painted curb markings indicating a fire lane where the car was parked. When I asked who had reported the vehicle, the driver refused to provide any information about whether the request came from an HOA, a property manager, or a public authority. There was no transparency at all about why the tow was initiated. A child car seat was clearly visible inside the vehicle. No attempt was made to ask whether the seat was needed for immediate transportation of a child before the vehicle was lifted. I understand towing companies are performing a job and responding to calls. However, the lack of communication, lack of transparency, and the dismissive attitude during the interaction made the experience extremely frustrating. If you are a property manager or business choosing a towing vendor, you should pay close attention to how this company treats people in situations like this.

Today i found myself in an unfortunate situation with my 2018 Kia. My car wouldn't start and i was stuck on the side of the road around 315pm. Justin was there swiftly and towed my car 30 minutes (traffic was horrendous today) to my house. I highly recommend Justin with Cheshire!

Caught the driver in transit. He made up a number on the spot. Cash only, no receipt. Scamming, dishonest, predatory. Figured out afterwards would have been cheaper to pay the impound lot.

They Towed my car at 12/14/2025. at about 9 PM And i pick up my car this morning around 11 o clok so its not even 24 hour and they charge me 600$ this is STEALING this is not Honest Business we are getting COOK 6-7 months ago they towed the same car from the same location they charge around 180-200 now they said 600$ when i said may i spoke with manager or boss or supervisor he said call the number. and im calling the number he is answering the phone he saying my boss told me this prices but he was trying to call his boss he didnt even speak with his boss this guy stealing money BAD BUSSINESS. THEY ARE CROOKERS

A great company that really helped me when I was stuck. I will use Cheshires every time I need a tow truck in or around St. Augustine.

Pierce was helpful and accommodating to help us get our vehicle back. Terri came after 5pm to open the gate and was also professional. I would use their towing service again. The price was more than expected but so was the service!

These guys are crooks! They towed my truck and charged me $400 because I arrived late to our condo and in less than 2 hours of being there (it was 2:00 am) my truck was gone. Made me pay “cash only” and then told me that it didn’t matter if what they were doing wasn’t right as long as it “was legal”.

I can’t thank Cheshire Towing enough! My parents car battery died and they had been waiting HOURS at the gas station and AAA still hadn’t assigned anyone to come tow them. One AAA rep showed up to jump the car but it didn’t work and he left. 5 other nice people tried jumping the car and it didn’t work. I called this company hoping they’d be able to help get to them faster than the AAA tow truck and James from Cheshire got to us within 20 minutes!! And he was able to jump the car so they didn’t need a tow. Highly recommend this company. They were very professional and kind and we are so grateful for their help.

These men are some of the rudest people I have ever met. They are just another vulture towing company as you can imagine. They towed my elderly mom’s car that was in our neighborhood parking area and I saw the guy pulled over at the neighborhood entrance. He left the area and drove off without securing the car and trailer fully and then stopped and got out to finish so that he could say he drove “off property” with it — although he was still on the property. I asked him about it and where it was going, how we could get it back and he said to call the number on the truck and quickly got in the truck and drove off without giving me a chance to get the number
