Came in today and had the pleasure of being serviced by Chris. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but also took the extra time to check my alternator and starter and then cleaned the battery cables and the whole battery compartment. I bought the best battery because of him and got the 3 year warranty. Best customer service experience I’ve ever had at an Advance discount auto store.

Drove to the store after jumping my car off. Got there at 6:55 and they close at 7. Doors are locked and I'm left stranded in the parking lot with a dead battery. Will be reporting this to corporate.

I went into to purchase an idler pulley and I thought I purchase the wrong one. I left I came back and brought the one that came off the car. I show up I go to see if they have any other ones the new one didn’t have the sleeve on it that goes on the inside and Chris comes by to see if he can help. Panicking I thought I’m not gonna be able to finish the job today, Chris got the metal sleeve out of of the old pulley. To my surprise I had no idea I thought I was going to have to get an OEM part but Chris saved the day! All thanks to Chris I was able to utilize that metal sleeve on the new part and put the vehicle back together!! Manager if you’re reading this get that man a raise!!! That is one damn good employee you have there in the store!!!

Earl went the extra mile. Stood out in the rain and helped me install new wiper blades I had purchased. God Bless ya Earl!

This is the second time I have been fortunate enough to have Chris P. help me at this AutoZone. He is not only extremely knowledgeable and efficient, his unique personality makes dealing with car repairs as enjoyable as possible. I am retired, but spent many years in marketing and customer service. Chris is the kind of employee that not only solves customer problems, he makes them feel good about Advance Auto Parts. Chris sold me a battery, replaced it and I drove away smiling at the experience! From this customer's perspective, Chris is an exceptional employee.

I asked about an item when I walked in the store and I was told everything they had on hand was in a display. I waited for over ten minutes to finally be helped. I was then told to wait while another employee came with the key and then was told they didn’t have the item whose box was on display. I won’t waste my time here again.

Came in today to replace a dead battery. Earl was really helpful. Because I am in the middle Of a move, I didn’t have all the right tools. Earl let me go home with what I needed to install the battery. Thank you for amazing customer service!!!

Still great place and super helpful. I would price parts in person first as the web site seems to price things higher than in store pricing. Don't know why ..... The best place to get part in St. Augustine. No hassle replacement for many items having lifetime warranties. Super friendly staff. Very helpful. Will be back and back.

My nephew purchased a car battery for my Lexus SUV from Advance Auto a couple of weeks ago but I left the driver's door slightly ajar one night after which, naturally, the car wouldn't start. When AAA jumped the battery, the technician told me the battery was depleted and since it was new, must be defective. Earl at Advance Auto verified the purchase with my phone number and when he checked the battery, found its charge still a little low but the battery perfectly sound, handing me the diagnostic printout, explaining the numbers. He cleaned the connectors and added a buffer pad (obviously, not the technical term) at no charge and asked about the car, my driving habits, etc., (short trips, 2010) and advised me about things things to extend the battery life. Earl is a sweetheart and the other gentleman in the shop are equally pleasant, knowledgeable and communicative. He also mentioned that if I had any more trouble to simply give them a call and they'd immediately take care of it because the battery is under warranty. I had no idea Advance Auto would actually install a battery! Great guys. Great service.

Kristof and Juan were beyond exceptional in providing assistance with a dead battery and alternator. Despite inclement weather, they still assisted us from removal of the defective part and install of the new unit. Their service is the best I've ever received from any shop.

Juan was extremely helpful in selecting the battery best suited for my vehicle and my needs. Also putting my new wiper blades on was much appreciated. Very polite and helpful. I’ll definitely be a returning customer.

Juan couldn't bother to help me find a product on the shelf. I hinted twice that I could use some advice. He could only point. Too busy chatting with coworkers. Frustrated I gave up. I'm not sure if I bought the right thing. We'll see.

Very nice staff. I was really impressed by Chris. He was kind and helpful with adding freon to my car and teaching me how to do it on my own. It's not easy as a lady getting free and supportive help.

This was once a 1 star review, but, after giving this place one more chance, they blew me away. Annamarie did the most with helping my family and I with our car issue. She was amazing and I’m happy this place redeemed itself

On more than one occasion I have gone to this Advance Auto Parts store and the people have gone above and beyond to help. Recently, Kris, really helped me out, and was so knowledgeable, and worked with a positive attitude until my problem was fixed. He also helped out by putting a steering wheel cover on. Convenient and Reliable!

First off Larry is super helpful and knowledgeable. He is why this store gets five stars. I had to do a return and he made it go so easily!!!! Earlier in the week the computers were down and then the store hours changed. I was expecting to have to help some new young employee do their job but Larry was Johnny-on-the-spot!

I always go to this store when I need some little thing for the car. I choose this store because the people are so nice. The guy at the counter replaced my windshield wipers today, it took 5 minutes and he was HAPPY to help. This is not the first time I have left there thinking "Wow! that was easy, great service."

I love coming here when I need things for my car. From cleaning, headlight recommendations, windshield wipers, and today was an air filter. They always have what I need for my little Spark. I felt it was time to make this review, Ive had awful experienced at Auto Zone… definitely go here!!! They know what you need and are super kind!

We were having issues with our battery, went to get it diagnosed and Carl provided absolutely stellar customer service. Helped us properly diagnose our issues, while enduring the biting wind with a smile. If you go to this auto parts store, ask for Carl. That man deserves a raise.

4pm on Dec 21, went in, no one at counter, walked around inside, made some noise in case anyone was in the back and might come up, looked outside, no staff helping people with their cars, walked around a bit longer making some noise. No one around. Thought maybe I could see someone between the shelves behind the counter on a computer, not sure, but I made plenty of noise, clunked things on the counter, and had been walking around without a response. If someone was there he was either asleep or didn't want to be bothered. I left and drove to the AutoZone in town for what I needed. They were staffed and very helpful there.

The staff of this store are the most helpful of any parts store I have visited in the last few years. They go out of their way (if not super busy) to help you find the best solution to your problem and then provide help in installing your wipers or battery.....Thanks guys! And thanks for being on the island for all of us DIY folks.

David was absolute wonderful to work with. He took his time and helped me look and test my Mazdaspeed miata issues. He went above and beyond to help me and I truly appreciate your help and I will continue to use this store. Thank you David for everything!

David Mason was thorough and efficient in determining our need for a new battery after testing all other possible options. Pleasant in manner and professional in service. We will return to Advance Auto Parts primarily because of his assistance.

Went there to get a windshield wiper for my car, didn't know what time I needed E.J. was an awesome customer service agent. He went outside in the RAIN and put it on for me and based on my comments checked out my windshield wiper motor. Above and beyond the call of good customer service for sure. Definitely will be going back for my other automotive needs!

We could not have been more pleased with our experience at Advance Auto primarily because of our dealings with Carl. Our motor home needed to have a battery replaced and after a few frustrating calls to local RV repair shops we were referred to Advance auto. I first called and spoke with Carl and was instantly relieved to know that they could take care of us and for a very reasonable price. We went the next morning and Carl installed our new battery with a smile. No charge for the install. The other places we called each wanted $60.00. Thank you Carl for all your help and your great attitude

The staff at this location is always very professional and helpful but this morning Caleb (hope that's the correct spelling) was great. I was irritated after getting a late start and having to purchase a new battery right before I had to leave for work but Caleb was as polite and friendly as can be. So much in fact, that when I left I was in a much better mood: a quick turnaround considering it only took him about 4 minutes to completely change out my battery... in a light rain!! Thank you, Caleb!!!
