Today I stopped by Advanced Auto Parts needing a new battery, and Frankie absolutely made the experience outstanding. He was incredibly helpful from the moment I walked in—patiently checked my old battery, confirmed exactly what I needed, and even installed the new one for me right there in the parking lot. Frankie is amazing: super knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about getting things right for the customer. No upselling pressure, just honest advice and great service. I recently visited Advanced Auto Parts to Purchase a can of MAAS Air Flow Sensor cleaner. My Engine warning light cam on a couple days earlier and I diagnosed the problem to be a dirty Air Flow Sensor, or the 02 senser. Since I don't mind working on car engines, I traveled to the store to find the product I was looking for and made my purchase. This store does offer Military Discounts and I had a great conversation with one of the employees which I discovered was in Germany around the same time I was back in the mlate 70's to early 80's. And both of us had been to Berlin. At any rate, following my purchase, I downloaded the instructions on how to remove and clean the air flow sensor. Much to my surprize, it wasn't as dirty as I imagined it might be and it did not extinguish the Engine warning light following reinstallation. So the only other option I had was to order an 02 sensor. I obtained that from Amazon.com, and will be returning to Advanced Auto Parts to rent a specialized 7/8-inch (22mm) deep-well sockets featuring a side cutout or "wire gate" to fit over the wiring harness so as to not damage the harness. This wrench is needed to both remove the old sensor and install the new one. I will also be purchasing a can of WD-40 to spray on the old sensor prior to removal, as I have discovered the sensors have a tendencey to get rusted over time and spraying WD-40 on the threads and allowing it to soak for at least an hour should allow an easier extraction. If it doesn't, I have a propane torch I can always use to pre-heat the sensor threads to help break it loose. Advanced Auto Parts have a $0 rental fee to rent the kit with a $49.99 refundable despoit as long as it is returned within 45 days, or you can purchase just the socket for around $18.49. However unless you plan on doing this work without the kit, you will need to make sure you have a breaker bar handle to attach to the socket as you will have to apply some force to break it free. I just happen to have a 24" breaker bar I purchased many years ago when I first started working on car engines. At any rate, since the rental is a zero dollar fee I would much sooner rent the kit and pay the deposit since it will cost me nothing to use it and I probably won't have a need to use that tupe of socket again in the future. I will need the 3-1/8-inch deep socket with cut out since there is a shroud that runs over the top of the exhaust manifold that I will need to navigate around for removal of the sensor. I've been to this store in the past to purchase Concrete Oil degreaser to remove oil stains frrom my pavers and also a new battery and other minore accessories shuch as brake lights and turn signal lights for my vehicle. I highly recommend visting this store if you are in need of auto supplies. The staff is very friendly and they will help you find the product you need if you aren't able to find it walkng aroud the store.

Came in needed a bulb on my vehicle, Jośe looked it up for me and offered to install it for me I asked how much it was going to be he told me it was free of charge he installed it in 3 mins got me back on the road I consider that excellent customer service I will definitely be back to shop

I needed a new battery and remembered I had set up a warranty for it about two years ago. When I called, they quickly pulled up my information and confirmed that my warranty was still active — I was absolutely elated! Christine, who answered the phone, was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. She answered all my questions and made the entire process simple and stress-free. When I arrived, Josè was just as fantastic. It turned out the battery covered under my warranty was out of stock, so he upgraded me to a better one completely free of charge! I even asked about renewing the 4-year warranty and how much that would cost — and to my surprise, he told me the new warranty would automatically start that day for another four years… also for free! Josè got right to work, was professional, efficient, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and has a bright future ahead of him. Good luck with your schooling, Josè. I hope to see you working at a dealership one day!

Came in with concerning warnings on the dashboard about low batteries and malfunctioning systems and got helped out by Ryan. Super helpful and concerned about making sure I got the best service. Would definitely come back the next time I had car troubles.

Went in to have my check engine codes read with my girlfriend. I spoke to Noah, who said he'd help, but as we started outside he handed it off to a newer employee who was polite and professional. While the codes were being written down, Noah came out, joked "I see your problem, you're driving a Kia," then a sudden downpour sent us back inside while my girlfriend waited in the car. As I walked in, Noah said in a stereotypical "ghetto" voice, patting his head and saying, "I didn't want to get my weave wet." Clearly directed at my girlfriend. I was stunned and it honestly took me a moment to acknowledge he said that. She is black, I am white, so I can only guess that he might have thought I'd find it funny. The comment was blatantly racist and unacceptable. When I made it clear that I didn't find it funny he tried to backtrack and say "That's just how some of my old coworkers used to act" which doesn't make it any less racist. The newer employee did fine, but Noah made the whole experience uncomfortable and even tried to check my oil with the engine running showing how little he was paying attention. I won't be back. AutoZone from now on.

Needed new windshield wipers. The staff including Noah and Craig (or Greg) were wonderful. The first two sets did not work and they went out of their way to make sure the proper ones were received and installed. Thanks so very much for your great cate.

I am a roadside mechanic. Use to go to my parts store for everything. The past 5 times there was something they didn’t have and I had to go somewhere else or order it on Amazon. Did two online orders. Both with oem parts matching the vins. Ended up being wrong parts both times. Had to order from Amazon the first time. The second time it was a service call so I had to fabricate the wrong part to fix. Can see why these places are failing. And I hate how I know more than the people who are selling me my parts. Very annoying and probably leading normal auto owners astray.

I've been using this location for years to get washer fluid and wipers (which they always install for me for free). I recently purchased a Cabin Air Filter for my car and YouTubed how to change it. I managed to get the old one out, installed the new one, but couldn't get the Filter Cover Tab back on. NOAH, was very kind to check it out and put it on for me. He went above and beyond to help with this. THANK YOU NOAH!!!

Don't go here if you're a female. Extremely rude and condescending. He asked me the make and model of my car and how old it is when you can come outside and find that information on the sticker for my last oil change. Wouldn't put the oil in my car for me either. You can do better! Not getting my business.

I have bad knees and had taken the battery out of my daughter’s car to be tested. I didn’t carry it into the store because of my knee. Christine helped me immediately and brought the tester to my car. The battery was bad and needed replaced. I had already chosen a battery on line. It was a very good battery that I had chosen. She looked it up and found a better battery with a longer warranty for just a few dollars more. I did buy the one she recommended and she even carted it to my car and brought the core back in for credit. Christine could not have been nicer. Very knowledgeable. She was a pleasure to deal with. Quality employees like her bring quality service

Usually the service is great but last time I went there an employee gave me the wrong bulbs (after he looked it up in the computer) so I don't know what that was about. Then, he tried to get me to buy a part for my car for $170, I went home and bought it online for $20. They are extremely overpriced on some of their items.

Punk kid at desk refused to help me. Tells me they don't have oil filter or spark plugs I need. 4 cylinder Honda. Was more concerned with talking with his buddies from school. Acted like I was interrupting him when I asked him for service. Girl in the back came out and found exactly what I was looking for. On the way out I told him thanks for no help he said no worries. O'Reilly's across the street always friendly and willing to help.

Even on a busy day, these guys manage to take you in and out as fast as they can. Most of the times they have all you need, and if not, they will have it ready and delivered as soon as possible. Is great to do business with them

I had to make two trips today because I did not realize that I pulled out the wrong bulb in my brake lights and thought that I had picked up the wrong lightbulbs-when I came back, they were very helpful and helped me make sure that I was taking out the correct bulb and that I reinstalled the bulb that I pulled out incorrectly properly. They were very nice, professional, and understanding. I don’t know the name of the person who helped me, but he was great and the lady on the phone who I spoke with her twice today was also very friendly and kind. Great customer service.

Fantastic service from Billy who seemed like the only one interested in actually helping a customer. He was awesome! Came out to my car and made sure I had the right wiper blade, installed it for me, and made sure I was happy with it. When I go back I'm definitely asking for Billy and you should, too.

Went in looking for an air filter for my motorcycle. Without even looking it up the guy said it would take a "long time". Said they don't get much call for them. So I left. I went about a quarter mile down the street to the O'Reilly's parts store. They didn't have one in stock, but were more than happy to have it for me the next day‼
