We took our dog in to get her ears cleaned and unmatted, and the team was amazing! Due to how bad they were we had to bring our dog back the following day so she could be sedated. They were so gentle and sweet with her, and you could tell they really care about the animals they see. We’re very thankful for how kind and patient everyone was and look forward to returning for there groomer and future appointments, definitely our go-to vet from now on! 🐶💚
Updated 3/6/26: We loved the office so much we now have our new puppy going. She was just spayed and the communication and after care instructions was helpful and very thorough. When we spoke to the doctor about the procedure, he took his time going over everything with us. We can not recommend this location enough. We also get our dogs groomed here by Leslie, she does such a good job on both our dogs.
Choosing this vet has been such a blessing! Me and the girls ( the kitty’s) have appreciated everything everyone has done for us! Both the doctors, technicians and front of house have all been so good to us! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you!
I went in for a 2nd opinion on dental work for my 10 year old cat and have now changed to SSAH as his vet hospital. The staff at the desk and the techs were wonderful, attentive, calm and reassuring. Dr. Gill was also attentive and very professional plus being calm with an uncooperative and angry cat. She was fantastic to work with answered all my questions even before I asked some!
I was made to feel welcomed and assured that they would do what they need to care for my cat. An amazing practice and highly recommend. 5+ stars!
I took my baby to an appointment and the experience was great the tech Christina & doctor Dr. Martinez was great with my furry baby i saw he was playful & comfortable with both of them very pleasant & nice thank you both for your kindness with milo & me.❤️😍🐩
I have been taking pets here for years and have always had good experiences with the vets and their staff. I recently took two of my cats for checkups and was seen by Dr. Donaldson. He is always so caring and gentle with my fur babies. I always recommend Sanlando to friends moving to the area.
They do not treat emergencies and the front desk staff are atrocious. I was told twice in the past year that they are booked and couldn't see my acute ill pet. I changed to Petfolk this afternoon. A big difference from the treatment that my pet and I have received at this place. Don't put the health of your pet in the hands of this horrendous place. I look forward to the AI automated response on this review.
The staff is so kind and so efficient and helpful. For making an appointment to talking with a doctor it's wonderful I have changed to them from another vet which was good but not as good.
We love Sanlando vet!! We recently moved to the area and as a nervous mom of multiple pets, we wanted to ensure we chose the perfect vet. Sanlando is it! We’ve seen both Dr. Gump and Dr. Martinez and both were amazing! They took their time with examining our pets and answering our questions.
I’ve been bringing my cats to Dr Martinez for many years and she’s the best! Caring, thorough, always happy to answer my questions and address any concerns. She's guided us through ups and downs with three very different cats, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for great vet care.
The techs are also terrific, very patient and knowledgeable, and the front desk staff always greets us with smiles. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful, I can’t imagine bringing my pets anywhere else. Also, I love the convenience of booking appointments online and getting flea meds auto-shipped through their pharmacy!
Although they accommodated my anxious dog by getting him right into a room, they then left us for extended 10 minute periods throughout the visit. The longer we were there the more anxious he became, they didn't recognize this and even though they said they couldn't examine him when they took him to the back they charged me for a "limited exam" that I did not witness. I was told they couldn't get a good examination because he was being "ornery". Dr Gump was completely hands off, gave a swab to me to use on his ears while she remained on the other side of the room. Never touching or even approaching my dog who sat there calmly at this point with a muzzle on. Told me they couldn't do the vaccines but could give him a sedative shot? Upcharge. She made up her mind pretty quickly that nothing was going to get accomplished, but gave me a nice estimate of $645. Avoid this vet if your animal has any behavioral issues, they don't seem able to handle that. They also charge too much. There are better options, I wont be returning
Hello Found a very small kitten, and brought to Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital. He gave me all the information I needed after giving the necessary shots, told me the kitten's age gave me instructions on what to feed her, and when. She is healthy pain now. We named her Sassy, due to the energy she has. Very happy Sassy now!!

My first visit to this Veterinary practice. This was a well visit for my 4lb Biewer Terrier Mimi. There purpose of the visit was to establish ourselves as new patients because we are new to this area and needed a local vet and Dr. Donald came highly recommended. He was very thorough, had a great manner and Mimi like him and his tech. The practice took time to request all her records so they new about her history and shots up front. I liked that. They had online appointment setting and separate waiting areas for cats and dogs (very nice). I will be returning!
The staff were pleasant and helpful. Dr explained in details. Appreciate Selynna’s patience with my dog she made me feel comfortable and understanding.
From the moment we walked through the doors until we left we had a positive experience. Our 12 year old toy poodle was treated with kindness and we were given good information. The doctor was thorough and we were given results very quickly.
We have been using Sanlando Springs for 20 years and have always been happy. They have great Dr’s, Techs and front desk staff! Thank you all for caring for our furbabies!
Very easy to schedule and reschedule our appointment. Very friendly techs and vets who were also thorough and didn’t push unnecessary treatments. Took our corgi in for runny poop and a couple days into treatment they are already feeling much better (and it shows)
I’ve been bringing my dog, Ryker, to Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital for years and have always had a wonderful experience. He’s always loved the team, but since developing some health issues, their care has truly gone above and beyond, for both him and me.
Dr. Gill and the entire staff take the time to listen, answer every question, and make sure we feel supported. Ryker is always greeted by name and eagerly heads to the back to see all of his friends. One moment that especially touched me was when a team member stopped everything to give him a big hug and tell him how happy she was to see him doing better.
The kindness, attentiveness, and exceptional care from the front desk to every appointment and follow-up have made a difficult time so much easier. I couldn’t be more grateful for this amazing team and the way they care for Ryker like one of their own.
Dr. Donald is the best! My sweet senior dog has cherry eye and he took his time to examine her with care. He’s attentive, patient, and thorough. I’ve had not one bad experience at Sanlando Springs and my pup and I have been going there for 9 years.

The doctors are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. We always feel confident that our animals are in the best hands. Dr. Donald has been our primary veterinarian, and every visit has been a great experience. He’s especially gentle and patient with our older, more anxious dogs, which means so much to us. It’s hard to believe the impact this vet office had on my life 17 years apart.
In high school 2008, my chihuahua was gauged across the neck by our cat. My mom drove me to the closest vet, Sanlando. They were able to take him in immediately and saved his life.
Fast forward to 8/7/24 and ironically my Goldendoodle puppy was scheduled for his first grooming appointment at Sanlando. During the visit I received a call from the staff asking to Xray his abdomen because his groomer and two techs felt his belly and it was hard with a high heart rate. Following the Xray they called me back requesting immediate transfer to Casselberry Emergency vet and arranged his transfer. He underwent, surgical decompression followed by a lifesaving gastropexy with ex-lap of his abdomen. He is home now and improving daily.
You do not find this type of consistent care often, if ever. Thank you Sanlando Vet for saving 2 of my dogs lives on 2 separate occasions. My animals have found their forever care at this wonderful facility!
I had to bring my 1 year old male cat in for what I suspected to be a UTI. Knowing this situation can turn bad FAST, I booked the next appointment available.
Not only were they very fast getting me back, they handled Pauly D with such love and compassion! They explained the diagnosis process and walked me through the best treatment plan available for my baby boy. They even showed me pictures of the x-rays they took and the images from the urinalysis! Dr. Kelsey Gump was amazing, very kind and thorough with the information she provided. Vet tech Jennie was super sweet and even said Pauly D was a gentleman for her! At the end of it all, Jennie helped me pick out a diet for Pauly D, and I was even assisted out to my car by Kenzie. This was a very pleasant visit for an unpleasant situation.
I will never go anywhere else again! Thank you to everybody at Sanlando for caring for our babies with the upmost quality and compassion possible!
This is the Best veterinary clinic in Central Florida. They always have availability for emergency appointments, when we need them. I have been with them for over 10 years now and I highly recommend them to anyone in the central Florida and adjacent areas with cats and dogs. The staff is knowledgeable and compassionate. They Have the small vet feel to them with a robust staff to ensure that you can always get an appointment quickly, whether it be a well visit or an emergency. I have fostered many animals through the years, particularly ones that are older or have health conditions. Sanlando is the only vet clinic I would trust, especially ones with chronic health conditions. I had a foster dog with chronic pancreatitis, and the care we received was phenomenal. She would not have survived her first pancreatic attack, if it had not been for the quick actions and extensive knowledge of the staff. Most recently, my beloved foster-fail cat needed emergency care, and they were able to get me in with within a few hours. They were quick to whisk him back to start triage to stabilize him, while someone explained what was critically necessary to do right now vs what can wait but would be helpful for diagnosis. The quality of care and transparency of treatment is phenomenal!
Leslie did an amazing job grooming my dog this week. She turned out beautiful! Leslie even posted an adorable Christmas picture and video of her being groomed so I could see how happy our pup was getting groomed. We will definitely be coming back!

Great people and great work. My dog had to go into surgery after a tooth fracture and their office staff, techs, and doctors are helpful and friendly. I liked how communicative they were during the whole process too.
Last night we could tell our girl (dog) was getting a UTI. She was so uncomfortable and had to go out every 30 minutes. This morning in a frantic search to find a vet that could see us today (her usual vet could not, and to be honest we wanted to switch vets bc we didn't feel she was getting the care she needed for her allergies and ear issues) after reading reviews I called Sanlando and was able to get an appointment (same day) at 11am. The lady who answered the phone was very kind and went over the Covid procedures they follow with me. When I arrived they followed those procedures and we were met with timeliness and a great and caring staff. Our girl normally shrinks down and wont leave my side when we go to the vet and surprisingly she was all about going with the very nice vet techs and the Vet Dr. Adams. Not only was she information pre diagnosis and post, but she even helped me understand my dogs allergies better and covered other treatment options and even referrals to a dog dermatologist. All I got in the past from our old vet was a steroid shot (which you can only do so much for safety reasons) and pills, never any other options and her allergies have been a thing for years. I was not expecting such a pleasant experience. The office is clean and well maintained. Thanks for taking care of our girl. We will be moving all of our pets (two dogs and one cat) care here!
