I’m shocked by how good of a job they did. Johnnie was super helpful explaining everything to me and what the process was for fixing my car which was extremely helpful considering this was my first time taking my car to a collision center. My car looks brand new i’m super surprised by how well everything was fixed there aren’t anymore paint chips or scratches it looks new. I definitely recommend. Johnnie and the rest of the team did great.

I’m hoping someone from management at Crown Collision in St. Petersburg will see this and help resolve what has been a very frustrating experience. My car has been at the shop since late January, and during that time I have been given five different projected completion dates. All of them have been missed. Communication has been the biggest issue. The service advisor assigned to my repair, Vinny, has not once called me proactively during the seven weeks my car has been there. I have repeatedly had to call the shop just to try to get updates, and at one point I had to drive there in person because I could not get a response. When I have received updates, they have often been inconsistent or contradictory. Over the past month I have been told different things about whether the parts had arrived, whether the car had already been painted, and whether it was currently being reassembled and recalibrated. It has been very difficult to get a clear and reliable explanation of the actual status of the repair. Even my insurance adjuster has had difficulty getting basic status information from the shop. I completely understand that delays can happen with collision repairs. However, seven weeks with multiple missed completion dates and very limited communication is not what I expected. At this point, I would really appreciate someone from management contacting me directly to clarify the status of my vehicle and provide a realistic timeline for completion.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the exceptional service I received at Crown Collision Center! From start to finish, the team did a fantastic job on my vehicle after two separate accidents. The repairs were completed professionally and the quality of the work exceeded my expectations — my car looks great. Jenn Smith was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. She coordinated repairs with two different insurance carriers smoothly and efficiently, making a stressful situation so much easier to manage. Her communication, organization, and attention to detail were top notch. I highly recommend Crown Collision Center and Jenn to anyone needing collision repair — truly 5 stars all the way!

Thank you to Jenn Smith the Estimator at Crown Collision in St. Petersburg. Me and my Audi A5 got mildly crunched by another driver, and from the first contact, Jenn was available to help me with a wrecker, insurance issues, letting me know each step what was happening, and was just a friendly voice on the phone. I picked my car up yesterday. A serious shout out to whoever detailed it. It looks amazing. The body work is perfect, and my 14 year old car (with only 55k miles on it) looks brand new. Jenn was right there when I picked it up and walked me through the repairs that were done, explaining them all. Great work on the part of Crown Collision and Jenn Smith!

This review is for better way auto glass. I brought my brand new Honda Accord to have a windshield replacement done today. I’ve had it for less than a month before a rock cracked my windshield. Needless to say, I wasn’t too happy about that and a little concerned that whoever put the Windshield in could do any other damage. I am extremely picky as I am a car guy. Better way auto glass did an excellent job. They took their time to get it right and let me watch the whole process from replacing the windshield to recalibrating after they were finished. They were professional, courteous and extremely careful. My insurance company wanted me to go to Safelite, but have it had bad experiences with Safelite. The new Honda OEM windshield was replaced and I have zero problems with the Honda safety sense systems. I highly recommend better way auto glass if you need a windshield replacement.

Our recent experience with Crown Collision exceeded our expectations. My wife's new Hyundai Ioniq9 was involved in an accident. Johnny (our service representative) went out of his way to make sure our vehicle was repaired perfectly and completed on time. He initiated phone calls to keep us posted on the repair progress and coordinated all communications with the insurance company. Long story short, he made it easy and hassel free. Thank you Johnny and Crown Collision for a great job.

Johnnie Powell was my estimator he was about the nicest person I ever met. The service he provided was top notch.He contacted me two times to let me know how work was progressing. In the end l found out he was a true Floridian I wish more people were like him .

Crown Collision repaired both driver side doors due to someone hitting my car in a parking lot. Jenn was wonderful! Answered all my questions accurately and promptly. She is very pleasant to talk to and listens to what I had to say and ask. Our Telluride turn out fantastic. We now know where to go if we ever have to use your services.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My car was at Crown Collision Center for TEN weeks, and when I picked it up, it was in worse condition than when I dropped it off. My brand-new white car came back with widespread corrosion spots from industrial fallout, multiple new scratches, and a rear bumper diffuser that was still loose even though they claimed it had been tightened. Not only did they take an unreasonable amount of time, but the quality of care and lack of consistent updates on vehicle repair was completely unacceptable. After such a frustrating experience, there was no offer of compensation—no discount, no complimentary service, not even a simple car wash—to acknowledge the massive inconvenience and the condition they returned my car in. I honestly wish I had never chosen this collision center and I will not be returning for any future repairs. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

PLEASE READ BEFORE TAKING YOUR CAR HERE! I brought my car to Crown Collision Center over a month ago after being rear-ended, and this has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had with ANY place of business. When I first dropped off my car, Jenn assured me word for word that she “would not leave me high and dry” and that she would provide updates on my vehicle. That has not been the case at all. I’ve called and emailed several times with no response. The only communication I finally received — TWO DAYS AGO, via email, not even a call (after I called and the front lady said she would leave a hand written note in her desk to call me back) — was that my car has not been touched in over a month because the part is on backorder. I immediately called after receiving that email and was told by Jenn that the part was unavailable anywhere in the United States, with no timeline on when it would be resolved. I asked to pick up my vehicle since it could be an indefinite wait, and she said she would speak with her manager and call me back because my car has “no bumper on it at the moment”. That was two days ago. Since then, I’ve called and emailed both Jenn and the manager Tony multiple times — still nothing. Completely ignored. I am now left with no rental car, no personal car, and no communication. This is not just inconvenient — it’s unacceptable and frustrating. What makes matters worse is that I’ve since read dozens of other reviews describing the exact same issue: cars sitting for months with no updates, no returned calls, and no progress. This is clearly not a one-time problem, but a pattern of terrible customer service and disregard for people’s time and money. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews before trusting them with your vehicle. I wish I had.

Brought my 2025 Acura in to have some minor body repairs done. Crown Collision did a great job. When I picked it up, my car was washed and detailed inside. Really looked brand new. Big thanks to David and Penny!

Run don't walk away from this auto body shop. If i could have given it a zero star I would have. Shame on greedy Kevin Hawkins the owner for the bait and switch. I was quoted $1500.00 for two dents I had in my car by my door. I dropped it off on Monday and was told it would be ready on Friday. They called me on Thursday to tell me that they estimated the cost wrong and that now it would cost almost eight thousand dollar FOR TWO DENTS. They advised that now I would need a two new doors, a bumper, a fender etc.... WHAT!!! I told them that I wanted my car back and had to wait until the end of the day to get it. To say I was upset would be an understatement. By the way while i was there an older woman around 80 came in to get her car and stated that she had been waiting 2 months to get it back and they informed her that she needed more work then they originally estimated. Oh and by the way they charge you $90.00 dollars a day for storage. Ridiculous. I went to another body shop and got my car repaired for $1500.00. I want to protect future clients from going thru the experience I had. If you need your car fixed please go anywhere but here.

We were in a bind needing a small repair to our son's car right before he was shipping out for the Army which coincided with our move to TN. We had the pleasure of working with Jenn Smith and explained our predicament. She ordered the parts immediately and let us know she would come in early to meet us and get the car fixed. She did as promised and we picked up the car that same afternoon resolving our issue. Now that is customer service in my book. Jenn went out of her way to assist us in a time of need. Thank you

I literally got there as they were closing. I explained to them about a critical issue with my car and that I needed an immediate quote for a shippers insurance. Steve and Marissa were just phenomenal with their stellar service. They so patiently and kindly heard me out and stayed late after their business hours to help me out! They earned my business! One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. My car has been at this shop for over two months, and communication has been nearly non-existent. They consistently fail to return phone calls, and no one besides the receptionist is ever available to speak with. The updates I’ve received have been vague, repetitive, and often misleading, promising completion dates that come and go with no progress or explanation. I’ve had to pay out of pocket for a rental car and have even missed work due to the constant delays and false promises. Even with an insurance adjuster involved, the process has been frustrating and poorly managed. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been without insurance. Based on my experience and similar ones shared by others. I strongly do not recommend this shop.

This was a very bad experience. The communication from the representative (David Thach) assigned to us was horrible. He often would not return phone calls which necessitated us driving to the shop to get updates. My insurance company experienced the same issues with David which slowed the entire process. When I was told the car was ready, I found the door gaps from the repair to be excessively out of spec. They agreed and did eventually correct the repair but it calls into question the quality control system they claim to have in place. My guess is that most customers don't notice such things so they don't bother to check. After David continued to refuse to answer or return my phone calls about when the vehicle would be ready, I showed up at the shop asking to take possession of my vehicle. The receptionist said she needed to check with David. When she returned she asked me if I could wait 10 minutes or so because David was finishing his lunch. I almost could not believe my ears. I demanded to speak to a manager to promptly helped me, pulled David away from his lunch and then after a few minutes returned my car. I will say the final quality of the work appears to be very good. The customer service experience was legendarily bad.

Wayne Calderwood jr took very good care of me and front end repair of my 2025 Elantra N and my car looks like it did in the showroom. Wow. I would recommend him and the Crown Collision Center for all your body needs and repairs. Prices was fair. I plan on using them again for any future needs.

My Nissan Rogue was hit from behind. I took it to Crown Collision for the repair. Sean Clumfoot met me at my appointment time and was very thorough reviewing the car and the repairs needed. He was very friendly and professional. When my car was done, he called me and when I went to pickup he made the process very smooth. They do great work there!

I brought my Murano into Crown Collision after a fender bender. Christina Perez was assigned to work with me and I could not have had a better experience!! Christina handled every detail with the insurance company and rental car. She kept me up to date and well informed of all the steps along the way and delivered my car back to me in excellent condition! She even helped remove some very stuck on sludge that had splashed on my car after the hurricanes. Highly recommend Christina Perez!!

Sean Clumfoot was extremely helpful!! We have recently purchased a 2024 Kia with Shadow Matte gray paint. He removed the badges off my car. Super kind, knowledgeable and professional. I will only take my car back to Crown. Sean explained everything to us before removing the badges. My car looks amazing and we love customer service Sean provided!! Go see him with any car needs.

This is the worst car repair shop you want to take your car to, they hold my car for 3 months. It took them a month just to look at my car they NEVER called me to tell me your car is Here or what's wrong with it I had to Chase chase chase. And when they finally told me my car was done and went there to pick it up they gave it to me half done, so dangerous to drive. That was a liability it could have cost us our life's, How dare you? So basically because they thought it was insurance money they can do whatever they want. they thought they were above the law and they broke the law and their policy. This place lied and neglected me and gave me a car that's so dangerous to drive. Just to get to show you what kind of business is this they offered me $200 off my deductible for me to take down the reviews. I wonder how many people they do this with. so technically all their reviews are fake or bought out.
