I had a surprisingly good experience with Tune Rite boca. I did some research on the problem my car had before I went and I knew it was likely a relatively minor problem but there was a chance it was a major problem. They could have lied to me and ripped me off. They didn't. They were honest. And they were nice. They fixed my car that day and their time estimate was pretty close to correct. Good communication. I probably could have found a cheaper place to do the repair but I'm very happy with the experience I had. I will use them again.

Honest, trustworthy shop. My car comes back better than I left it every single time.

Every single person working at Tune Rite are very nice and down to earth people however diagnosis claims about finding my electrical problem with my car quoted as 600 dollars was generalized as harness problem and it was quoted me as 7000 dollars to fix. Which is another way of saying that we don't want to fix your car we just want to collect $600 that we agreed to charge for diagnosis. If you want to get you a car fixed do not get over hyped about their competence (like I did) and make sure you don't agree on any type of diagnosis fee unless within the range of reasonable hundred fifty dollars or maybe most $200. Remember if they want don't want to fix your car they will give you an outrageous repair price so that they would just collect the diagnosis fee. It's simply their business model and I strongly disagree with this model. Now you know. I almost forgot. My car stayed in their parking lot for a week before they did anything with the diagnosis. Even if you decide to get your car fixed there make sure call them the next day to check up the status of the diagnosis. And if they don't provide you the details about the diagnosis, assume that they didn't do anything yet they're just taking their time to keep the car. Just go there and pick up your car. Remember if they're giving you an astronomical repair cost, means they already decided to not to work on your car just go there and pick it up. Update 2-19-26: They called me and told me to remove my review or else they would reveal the photos of whatever they thought was "intimidating". In fact, I told them to do it which would support my whole point about their incompetence and their business practices. It's a good idea to post the pictures which are known already that was previously diagnosed by Lexus of Palm Beach. The whole point I was there that they claimed that they were Toyota trained he showed me the plastic Toyota logo that was attached to his monitor stand. So I was also told that previously they spent hours to fix a similar electrical problem of a disabled person's car and would never give up on fixing a car with such problems. Additionally their bold claim was, to not charge me $600 if they couldn't figure out what the problem was. But they did and I paid. So every claim they made was proven to be the opposite of what was promised. They didn't diagnose anything only regurgitated what was communicated to me by Lexus of Palm Beach (which they also knew) and the price for this parroting what was known by me cost $600. So at this point no one can make a claim about regurgitating a diagnosis that was previously known and charge you $600 for it and call it OK. The bottom line is I paid the bill shook his hand and left the shop. I'm posting pics so you can see before and after what they didn't do with the harnesses. These are the ones on the floor next to the kick panel. In fact I told the technician (nice guy) there to spray inside the harnesses and he said it wouldn't work and wouldn't change anything so I brought my own spray and sprayed it and towed the car away taking their word (big mistake). Next day, I bought special spray and sprayed it and the car is now perfectly starting at least during the day doesn't require towing since it starts with my booster instantly. Further evaluation is required for a permanent fix but much better than what it was before. So what they refused to do for the car at the point that I asked them to spray and clean the crud in the terminals would have at least saved me the towing fee at the least. Now you know what you are getting into. Make sure check my photos and compare with theirs. Bottom Line: When you drop off the car **DO NOT** leave the shop without taking a printout for what's agreed on. Fees, terms, (whether you will be charged if they can't find the problem), Especially set a limit for time frame including repair and diagnosis in total. MOST IMPORTANTLY, set a cost limit for the repair and diagnosis *EXPLICITLY* stated on paper. Otherwise you are handing a blank check and your car may stay there for a few weeks.

Highly recommend Tune Right Auto! Very satisfied with work done on my vehicle. They did a thorough check of all systems and made the necessary repairs efficiently and expertly! And outstanding customer service!

Went in for a last minute alignment and they were able to fix my messed up tire alignment in 30 to 40 minutes or so. My car feels a lot sharper and handles perfectly.

These guys are awesome!!! I've been using these guys for a number of years. From tires, brake pads, engine work, etc. Come here if you want quality work without all of the games and tricks!!

Very happy with their courteous and knowledgeable service. Shop was kept immaculately. Their prices were very reasonable. Technician explained everything thoroughly. Also, most importantly, they fix my jaguar.

I love this mechanic, they got what I needed done in the same day, discounts were available, and the lobby was clean. Max and Victor were both especially kind and helpful throughout. I won't be going to any other mechanic.

I’ll do this place the kindness of not leaving one star, due to the fact that I did have a decent first experience with the company—just normal maintenance work along with a diagnostic. Unfortunately, the second time around the experience was not great. The business model for them seems to be tackling the most expensive jobs first, only to find out that wasn’t the issue. They turned what should have been a $500–$1,000 job at most into more than $2,000. They replaced brand new, fully functional parts (which I have confirmation were working) while essentially guessing at the problem, and then tried to explain that this was the necessary and final fix—only for two more “final fixes” to follow, each tacking on hundreds more. The guys in the front office are, for the most part, predatory salesmen with lackluster mechanical knowledge. It was a frustrating and costly experience. I will never return here, and I recommend finding somewhere else unless you have lots of expendable income and would like to donate to their trial-and-error shop.

They were wonderful to work with! We had an emergency driving through FL on our way home. We called a dozen shops & no one could get us in on a Friday on an emergency basis until we reached the Service Advisor Max at TuneRite. They helped get our vehicle back on the road & were very reasonable priced! Highly recommended!!!!

I definitely recommend! They are very hard working and honest people. I went to another shop in the past where they told me they replaced a part that costs around $500. After going to Tune Rite, they pointed out I still had that original part, so I could get a refund from the first place I went to! I think they are very trust worthy people. Max at the desk was also helpful with getting me a discount on a lyft ride to my class, since im a student. They gave me a great warranty deal for the new part and offered to help with towing if i ever need it. Im very happy I found a place with good employees that care about their customers!

I went in for an oil change and it was done promptly and their price was comparable and better than others I checked. Owner and Staff were very friendly and respectful. They did a once over and explained all that they saw and it all matched what I already knew about my car. They made recommendations for later, nothing was needed right away and there was no pressure at all. I will definitely got back.

I’ve been using Boca Auto Repair for years. I cannot tell you how wonderful they are always. They do a great job. They’re quick respectful. The shop is beautiful and Mike the manager couldn’t be a nicer guy. I highly recommend this terrific company.

This was my first time here, but my cars second time. Last December my car got an oil change here and they told me I needed to replace the serpentine belt and quoted me $191. I didn’t do it then and I just went back for an oil change this week and asked for another quote to get it done since it had been a year. Victor told me that normally their prices increase $5-$10 from year to year but because of tariffs this years price will be higher. I asked him to give me the quote anyways and he told me $272. I then asked him for a price breakdown for what was parts vs labor and he didn’t break it down but he told me that their labor is a fixed amount so the price increase is coming solely from the part. I decided not to get it done because it seemed like a big increase for just a belt that is around $40 online. I went up to the checkout for my oil change and Max checked me out. I asked him if they do discounts for FAU students and he said yes but not on oil changes. So I asked if I would get a discount on the serpentine belt and he said yes, it’s a 10% discount on labor, not parts. So I asked him for a new quote with the discount applied. He told me it came out to $217. Weird because that’s a $55 discount which is 10% of $550, not even close to the price of the labor. I left and my boyfriend called (he has taken my car and his car there before) and Max told him that Victor told me the price was $254 because the printed paper said that (I never saw this paper) and he never said $272 or mentioned anything about tariffs (Max was also not even in the room when Victor told me the price or about the tariffs). My boyfriend then said where does the 10% come in because $217 is not a 10% discount of $254 and Max did not answer him and just told him that was the price. Max then said he doesn’t even know why they’re having a conversation right now. Pretty rude to be speaking to paying customers like that. I think they were just making up prices because none of the math adds up. My boyfriend and I will both not be returning. Just be careful if you’re a girl in college who looks like they know nothing about cars because they will try to up the price on you. Only respond to my review once you have fixed your attitude and listened back to the cameras from Tuesday.

Jonathan helped me get in the same day, and get exactly what I needed done. These guys helped me put a brand new set of HREs on my car and did a phenomenal job! Great customer service, and care to my vehicle. Will definitely return! Edit: So I did return and unfortunately my experience was not the same this time around. I sent my girl friend in to have her Elantra serviced and unfortunately they didn’t do a very good job. Last time her car was in they said she needed a serpentine belt and it was around $190. This time she was told it would be $272 due to “tariffs”… a $80 increase for a BELT? That’s around $40 at autozone? Then when she asked for a print out she mentioned she was an FAU student and the price went down to $217… she was told the student discount is 10% but the math doesn’t add up. So I called and spoke to Max, who told me he gave my gf the $217 price and that she was never quoted $272. He was very arrogant and passive aggressive and even asked me “why we were having this conversation”. On top of that in the vehicle inspection portion they didn’t even pop her drum brakes off to check the shoes on the brakes and just took a picture of the outside of the drums and told her they were “rusted” so she should get those replaced. Seems like they pray on people that don’t know what they’re getting done. Very disappointed overall.

Amazing!! I know very little about cars so always makes me uneasy to go to shops-I worry they will advise I fix or replace something that is not necessary. They were great! Explained to me what needed to be done right away and what may be needed in the future. No pressure at all! Got m in and out quickly at a fair price! Will definitely be going back anytime I need service on my car!

This was the absolute best place to go to for my repairs. I’ve been to several different repair shops but NONE have done the amazing job they did for me. Max took amazing care of my repairs, although I was concerned about the costs and time it would take for repair he reassured me and was fast acting to have the leaks from my car diagnosed AND repaired! I don’t have tons of experience with mechanical repairs so being able to trust Max through the whole process really made things so much easier on me.
