What clients say about Sanford Auto Salvage in Orlando (FL)

I am very impressed with these guys. I needed a specific "red dot" sway bar only found on a specific trim of RX-8. I found this junkyard through car-part where they had an affordable price. They are quick to answer. While they are pretty busy, they did pickup. Anyways, I made the 2.5 hour journey to see the RX8 and chance that it was what I needed. Turns out it was but it was buried behind several cars These guys used a forklift and moved several cars to lift the RX-8 and retrieve the sway bar... in under 30 minutes! I have no idea how these guys do it.. but I am impressed. The whole process was pretty seamless from check in to check out(less then an hour) and I was able to inspect the part on the car before buying. I would recommend them.

I visited Sanford Auto Salvage today to pick up parts for my 2014 Jeep Cherokee, and I have to say, my experience exceeded my expectations. Let me break it down so that anyone who’s considering this place knows exactly what to expect.Customer Service:I called a couple of days ago to inquire about parts, and the person I spoke to confirmed they had the specific vehicle I needed. They were upfront about the fact that this isn't a "you pick" junkyard. That was fine with me, but what impressed me was that the gentleman offered to help further by allowing me to text him pictures of the parts I needed. Now, I’m no mechanic—far from it—so I wasn’t even sure of the exact names of the parts, but he didn’t mind. He guided me through the process, which was a huge relief. This level of service right from the start made me feel confident that I was dealing with a professional, customer-focused business.In-Person Visit:Fast forward to today, a Saturday. I called in the morning to confirm, and he told me to come on by. When I arrived, the place was busy, and understandably so, since it’s a weekend and not all the staff work on Saturdays. Despite that, the guy at the front desk was super gracious and didn’t make me feel like I was being rushed, even though he had a lot on his plate. I really appreciated that. He even had someone walk back with me to help locate the parts.A Word to the Wise:Here’s where I want to give future customers a heads-up. If you're going to be walking back into the lot (and depending on what part you need, you might), come prepared. It’s Florida, and we’ve had rain nearly every day for the past week, so the ground was muddy. If you’re like me and not expecting this, you’ll want to wear heavy-duty shoes or boots, plus pants and a long-sleeved shirt. Trust me, the mosquitoes back there are no joke—they had a field day on me! I’m pretty sure they ate more than their weight in my blood. So, be ready for that if you’re heading back there in this kind of weather. A little preparation can save you a lot of discomfort. The Parts and Prices:As for the parts themselves, the prices were more than fair. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was, especially considering the current market for used auto parts. I found what I needed, and the parts were in great condition. It’s clear that Sanford Auto Salvage takes care to ensure they’re offering quality items, not just random junk.Final Thoughts:All in all, Sanford Auto Salvage provided a fantastic experience. The staff was helpful, the service was personal, and the prices were very reasonable. Yes, there are a few challenges, like navigating a muddy lot and battling mosquitoes, but those are things you can prepare for. If you need affordable, quality used parts for your vehicle, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a business that clearly values its customers and provides solid, straightforward service. Just remember to pack your bug spray and boots!

waste of time spent 2 hours being told a airbag was getting taken out of there salvage car and come to find out they didn't even try and don't even have the tools to remove a airbag from said vehicle would never come to a place of business like this again they prioritize people who call ahead of time to pick parts up same day or next day instead of working on the parts the people who have been waiting multiple hours at there lot for. after that they said they would be able to get the part pulled for me next day but i would need to pay before they pull the part and no discount when i was sitting at there lot for over 2 hours with other people waiting and being told there parts are being pulled but never were pulled
