Don't use this company. I called several companies and All Car Buyers was the highest quote. Of course I chose them and answered all the questions about my car. (Never once was the catalytic converter asked about) When the tow driver came he started taking pictures of the car and tells me that the catalytic converter is not the original one. It has been replaced which is not worth nothing however the original one is like lique gold. He proceeds to show me the picture he took and I don't know much of nothing about cars. For all I know the picture he showed me could have been the alternator!!! He said he could not give me the $450.00 quoted since the original catalytic converter has been replaced. The car is now junk and he could only give a $100.00. I felt pressured and took the money. My advice is, if this company low balls you when they come out don't take the low dollar amount. Make sure to call at least 3 other companies for quotes and send All Car Buys back from where they came from.

Moses then told me to call the following day 1/6/26 they they would be able to help out. So I called the following day and had to explain the situation all over again and I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor and this is where they started giving me the runaround. They transferred me to Kendra who is the supervisor of dispatch and I told her everything and she told me that’s not her department that she’s only the dispatch supervisor but she will try to connect me to Jean aka JP who is the supervisor of the tow truck people who actual makes the calls and gives the money. She tried to get in contact with him but he was out of the office at 10am she told me to call back later which is did. I called by 2pm and then I was told that Jean was in a doctors appointment so I had to call tomorrow. So I called the following day 1/7/26 and I FINALLY got in contact with Jean and when I finished explaining to him everything he told me he was walking into the office and when he gets situated he will call me back. (Disclaimer guys he NEVER called me back and I NEVER spoke to him again). So after waiting all day for this man to call me, I called back again that day and they had me transferred to ANOTHER supervisors phone Jonathan Diaz who I only got the voicemail for and no call back from that one either.
I called back 1/8/26 and asked to speak to Jean aka JP… they then transfer me to MOSES. The original dispatcher who was dealing with my issue the first night, the one who told me I was correct. And when he started speaking to me he stated that he was “sorry” because he shouldn’t have told me what he did that night. And I stopped him right there and I told him that I can’t believe instead of these unprofessional supervisors calling ME the customer and explaining this to me they pulled in their employee to scold him for helping a customer out, because apparently they didn’t have told to speak to me but they had time to pull Moses in and speak to him?? We then asked Moses to transfer us to Jean aka JP again and he refused. He said he could not transfer me to the supervisor.
These people are THIEVES. AND ARE UNPROFESSIONAL. The driver saw that there was 2 girls at night and took advantage of the situation. I was promised $630 and only received $350. At this point it goes way beyond the money. It’s sad that these companies always take advantage of certain things. It’s unfortunate that they are so cheap to even call us back.
PART ONE. It does not let me leave a long review but I will do parts. Incident on January 5th, 2026. This place does not even deserve a one star but in order for me to place a review I have to press something. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE THEY ARE LIARS AND WILL CHEAT YOU OUT YOUR MONEY IF YOU DO NOT KNOW ABOUT CARS! I called the dispatch lady to ask for my quote on a vehicle and she said if I had certain items that were the original it would be $630. So 1st Osgal the driver asked for my id but I did not have it but I told him I could run inside and get it real quick but he stated if my fiance had their id on them he can just take that. Which in the first red flag because the vehicle is not her it’s mine and he did not want to wait for me to get my id. Then driver Osgal started to inspect my vehicle and he stated that my catalyst converter was an aftermarket not the original, mind you I know nothing of cars. Osgal told me he can only give me $300 because it was an aftermarket. So while I was checking out the bottom of my car to record some videos for myself because it did not make sense that it wouldn’t be the original because my car barely had work done to it, he was having my fiance signing papers. I got on grok which is just like chat gbt and sent a picture of the bottom of my vehicle and asked what this was and it wrote “This is a perforated heat shield with rows of small ventilation holes is a hallmark of genuine Hyundai OEM Catalystic converters on this generation of Sonata (2011-2014 YF Models). That design helps with heat dissipation and is common on factory units.” And I also looked up pictures on google of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata catalyst converter and it showed pictures of exactly what mine looks like(I will attach the pictures here) I showed the driver and he said yeah but it doesn’t look original to me. He told me to call the dispatch place and while I was on the phone with them he was towing up my car. We had asked him to wait because we were calling and he said he had to go because he needed to get another car but that dispatch will confirm if it’s legit or not but he had to go. I was already on the phone with dispatcher Moses while he drove away with my car. I told Moses about me looking up the pictures of the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Catalysts converter and he said “you’re going to believe a computer over a guy with experience” (which was very rude by the way) and I said 100% I would because pictures don’t lie. Moses then stated he will look through their system to see other 2011 Hyundai sonata catalysts converter. He was able to confirm that yes it was a legit catalyst converter. He told me he called and messaged the driver to turn around but he did not turn around.
After being involved in a collision, my vehicle was towed to an impound yard. When I contacted All Car Buyrs, their Customer service seemed great...they responded quickly to my calls and email. Offered me $460, repeating that quote multiple times. Dispatch person was awesome and gave us regular updates on the pick up after I told them that the impound yard would be closing earlier than their pick up window. Driver arrived and was very friendly and had very good personal interaction skills. After driver completed his intake (pictures sent to his manager), he quickly relayed to me that they would offer only $200 and said the value of the vehicle was that. I started to note that the parts of the vehicle were still in good condition and those alone would be of more value. I initially rejected the $200 offer and the driver started to unprep the vehicle hitch to drive away. I then started thinking that leaving the vehicle in the impound yard for more days and then also paying for a tow to somewhere else would quickly add to the total expense... and there wasn't any promise that I would be able to find a buyer. So I called the driver back and agreed to the $200. (BTW) we had only liability insurance that didn't cover collision for my vehicle so we had to pay for all collision expenses. I did look at the reviews before deciding to go forward with the transaction and noted the customer saying they only received half of what was originally quoted...but I didn't expect the driver would leave my vehicle after I rejected the initial offer. I thought there was going to be a negotiation, but that wasn't possible. Take it our leave it was the agreement.
The next day, All Car Buys sent me a text message asking how the experience with driver was and how much $$ the driver gave me.
I asked why would you ask how much the driver gave me...if there was an up front agreement for $460. No answer on the text, so a few minutes later I asked if I could get a bill of sale receipt emailed to me. Then they responded immediately and said yes, but wanted to know again how much the driver gave me. I said $200 and then I immediate received the email with the bill of sale showing $200. I send additional messages and have yet to receive any response. I believe that text interaction was A.I. I am now attempting to call them to ask to talk to someone in person.
I was promised $650 for a vehicle and then when the driver shows up he says all they can offer me is $100 and then makes the claim that he’s gonna do me a favor and call the owner and make it right and proceeds to make a fake phone call and then he says I got you the original offer and he deserves a tip for bringing the deal to its original offer. What a scam! I am a tow truck driver and these drivers are a bunch of con artists a tip is a tip not a negotiation . I wouldn’t recommend this place to an enemy l.

I called this company to get a simple estimate for several vehicles I was looking to sell. Instead of helping or answering my questions, the boss told me he “doesn’t want to deal with me because I’m complicated.”
All I did was give them a list of the vehicles and try to understand what they could offer. I don’t think asking for an estimate should be considered “complicated.” This was very unprofessional and rude, especially for a business that claims to buy junk cars. I would not recommend these people to no one All I did was try to sell My car's that's it Tell your boss there's are other plenty of people that will buy my cars
BEWARE!!! BEWARE!! WE were scammed by this company. Contacted them to pick up an old car of ours, after seeing their advertisement for cash for cars. They tell you on the phone that you just need certain items on the car to receive the quoted amount. Then when the tow truck driver gets to your house, the driver uses some fake cell phone thing to "test" your cat converter (which is impossible to do with a cell phone "app" and without the car running and actually testing to see if there were any codes) and now tells you some mumbo jumbo that your cat is bad without REALLY knowing. So then the original quoted amount goes down by HALF. AND THEN the driver (who says he doesn't benefit either way, which we know is not true) and proceeds to tell you that oh if you call somewhere else they are going to tell you the same thing and ALSO told us that if we didn't sell him the car HE WAS GOING TO CHARGE US FOR THE SERVICE CALL!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS? WE were scammed by these people and taken advantage of. Now they have or car that we KNOW was worth $1500. And we were left with a measly $300. In all my years of being scammed by people from time to time I should've used my best judgement and saw through this... shame on me and shame on them!!
This company promised me a $500 quote at first. The driver called me twice saying he was running late. Once he arrived, he inspected the vehicle and suddenly quoted $200. I said no. Then he quoted $300. Again, I said no my final and lowest offer I was willing to take was $500. We agreed, he gave me the cash, and I signed over the title.When I started inspecting the cash, it looked suspicious. The plastic strip on the $100 bills was peeling off, and the blue security color looked off as well. The driver insisted the money was real and said he would never give fake bills because it could cost him his job. He also claimed that the company provides the cash, not him.Then he put a woman on the phone, who said the money came from Chase Bank and that they “don’t have counterfeit money.” She quickly became rude and said, “She probably works at Walmart just leave and give her the car back.”Very unprofessional and disgusting behavior. This company tries to finesse people please be careful dealing with them.
Wife called them to take our damaged car. Told 500 then 200 because the Catalytic Converters were cut off. Was shown pictures when I got home from work taken by the tow driver. The pictures in question were of where the resonator was. Not the cats. The cats are attached to the header on V6 front wheel drive cars. This was obvious lying. I've verified catalytic converter location on the vehicle in question by Ford. The Cats were still present when the vehicle was taken. Misleading business practices. I'll be contacting counsel on Monday. Furthermore for being available 24/7 no one answered at 4pm on Friday 25th.
Update: per owner request I reached out to them. Via text. Wife also called. Was hung up on. To date no response. I don't expect anything. Use this business at your own risk. And be prepared.
I feel scammed! I was offered $500 for my car with several brand new parts in it. Once driver arrived looked under car and gave me the catalytic converter gab about not being original...blah blah blah. Intially said he may be able to take it for weight of car...about $200. I negotiated and was able to get it to $375....would not even budge to $400. Other places were offering over that amount...should've gone with them. ANOTHER thing was the driver was extremely late, costing me a job for the day. Was told 10 to 12....he didnt show up until about 1:30.
I wouldn't trust them. I have a 4runner I was going to let go next. I'll call someone else.
They told me $400 over the phone. The driver shows up and tells the guy on the phone. It only has one of the two catalytic converters but a 2001 Ford focus only has one catalytic converter. I understand the need to make money but lying and scamming is not a way to make a honest living. I will never use this service again for towing or selling any junk cars. If you want to be lied to and tricked into believing you’re going to to get a certain amount, then by all means use this company.
My review echos the others on here. Called and was offered a price. Driver (great guy) shows up and does an "inspection", sending pictures to the boss. Then offered less than 1/4 of what we were told on the phone. And of course they are only interested in the catalytic converter. After calling and speaking with them on the phone and calling them out for their BS, they gave us more but not nearly what was quoted on the phone. All this after I took MY time to get the car out of the backyard so the tow truck wouldn't tear it up. 10/10 would not recommend.

I was assured a solid offer on the phone. Then was told I can only get half that much when they came to get the vehicle. I was told that my catalytic converter was not the original factory part. After much haggling, I finally gave in to $75 less than what they had promised me on the phone. Very deceptive business practice I should’ve waited till next week and try a different company. Think twice before using them.
I recently had to use this tow truck service and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The driver (chino)arrived on time and was extremely professional and friendly. He quickly assessed the situation and safely loaded my car onto the tow truck. Throughout the entire process, he kept me informed and made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. The price was reasonable and the service was top-notch. I would highly recommend this tow truck service to anyone in need of a reliable and trustworthy towing company.

This is an A+ team. The office is so helpful and personable. The tow driver, Johnathan, was so helpful in getting my car quoted and picked up. He explained everything and made me feel warm even though it was freezing out!
