Stephen was amazing he did a battery and alternator check and was able to tell us that we had a faulty alternator. He let us know what alternator we needed and was able to hook us up. He was very friendly and nice!
Today, I called the shop to inquire about a locking gas cap as someone has been stealing my gas. I had the pleasure of speaking with Maria at the Kirkman location. She went above and beyond when it comes to customer service. I want to commend her on her knowledge, kindness and patience. You are very fortunate to have an employee who cares so much about her customers, she's a shining example of a positive "brand" ambassador. Hang on to her!
My car battery died and I needed it replaced. I called this location, and a kind gentleman told me that they had the battery in stock for my make and model, and they could install it. I got my car towed to the location, and another gentleman, Steven W., was incredibly helpful, friendly, and lighthearted, providing excellent service replacing my battery, and with a high level of professionalism. Truly felt that I was in good hands, and received superb service. Steven W cheered me up after having a rough morning with my battery dying suddenly on me. Would recommend this location with hard working and kind folks like Mr. Steven W working there! :)
Today I went to Advance Auto to check my battery, which had run out of power, and they attended to me very kindly, specifically the guy Joel Marin. He was diligent and friendly, which is always how it should be when someone goes looking for help for a specific situation... Bravo Joel and thank you for your excellent service...
Came in with a friend to change battery for his car Steven I literally have no words for Stephen made me feel like home as family. I’m sorry but I cannot give them five stars or a 10 I have to give them 1 million. Amazing customer service like I mentioned make me feel like home. I definitely recommend it for everybody if I have anybody coming from my country from Brazil or any other country, I don’t care who it is. I will tell him to come and talk to Steven. If you’re his manager from corporate, he needs a raise.
Steven W. was Fantastic to work with! Very knowledgeable & Professional. I had a Check engine light on. He used the scanner on the car and gave me the Code right way. He looked up the price for the new part that they in stock. I will be back for supplies and parts next time.
Amazing helpful staff. Not only was my battery still under warranty, but there was a $20 difference in the price. So they gave me a giftcard. I appreciate the kind staff. I am editing my review. While the customer service was great, the mechanical abilities of the staff is lacking. The woman installed the new battery and my car started and I was able to drive home. However the next time I went to start my car nothing happened. I had to call AAA to come and when they looked at the battery, they actually laughed when they saw how poorly it was installed. It wasn't connected to what it was supposed to be connected to and this metal piece was so close to one of the charges, he said it could have started a fire. AAA isn't supposed to touch batteries that they don't provide, but luckily he felt bad enough for me that he fixed it for me.
2025: Found current staff very unhelpful (March 8th, late afternoon) Would walk away after barely answering a question. A few seemed to just not want to be bothered. I left and decided to spend my money elsewhere.
2018: Natalie was awesome, very friendly and considerate when I needed a new car battery. Empathetic and not pushy. Will definitely use Advance Auto Parts again
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this store this morning. I arrived at 7:00 AM, 30 minutes before the store opened, and waited patiently. When the store finally opened at 7:30 AM, I was greeted by an employee named Chris who had an incredibly bad attitude. Not only he was disrespectful, but he outright refused to help me with my request and suggested I go somewhere else. I have visited this store before and had a positive experience, but after today, I am extremely frustrated and will not be returning. The customer service today was appalling and completely unacceptable. Thank you Chris.
I called this store to ask for a part that I needed, when someone picked up they immediately put me on hold and after 10 minutes of being on hold someone picked up and said "wassup", i heard laughing after I explained what I needed and then they just hung up on me, waste of my time.
Can we just close this location??? I have been to this store on numerous occasion and the team members here just hate their job. They complain about everything, watch each other, dont attend to customers, waste customers time, dont reccommend alternative locations to get parts unless asked...its just a disaster here. Can this branch get a propper set of workers or just raise their damn salaries???Bcz something just aint clicking and ive been to numerous AA stores around the area and sadly this one is the worse.
Never going to this location again, staff standing around talking about Trump and laughing in a group never assist any help , once I found what I was looking for , they broke out of their huddle and pretended they was busy in the back , I stood in line about 5 minutes to get checked out for someone to say I will be right with it I’m still standing in line another 10 minutes mind you I’m the only one standing in line a Caucasian lady walks in she gets the help she needs. I will be contacting someone to take my complaint further.Because this is an on going issue with Tan people!
Daniel went above and beyond on 12/18 for my friend and I. They hooked up our battery, but when the car wouldn’t stay on, they continued to assist us. We believe the alternator is worn out, but he spent over an hour adjusting and replacing the battery terminals so the car would run as long as it was moving. His knowledge was solid and his customer service was amazing!
Our car battery died from the excessive heat and when we tried to reach out to PepBoys, they were less than helpful. Told us to come in and they’ll “maybe fit us in” without asking any info about our car/battery. We did some research online and found Advanced Auto Parts had the battery in stock, ready to pick up within 30 mins with availability to help install/replace. So we called back PepBoys to confirm that they even had the battery in stock, they said no. So we would have gone there just to have been turned away. Immediately we went right to Advance Auto Parts website, bought the battery and went straight there. Unsure of the employee’s name who helped us install/replace the old battery, but she was incredible! Super knowledgeable and helpful. Absolutely will be back when needed!
Service attendant treated me well got me a discount I got my part all is good great place to get parts. You can also be out as fast as you want or you could take your time and walk around the store and shop. I'm satisfied, and so will you
Advance Auto Parts website states that a part I need is in stock at this location. It would also be available to order online and pick up in 30 minutes if I like. Went to store to check part before I purchased in person in stead but when I arrived they in fact didn't have the part as stated in stock. All I know is that I drove 45 minutes across town for nothing. Thanks for nothing Advance love the incredible good for nothing website , great job !!!!!
Steph was super helpful, friendly, professional and made sure I got the correct stuff I needed for my car. My power steering was whining when I turned the steering wheel so I went in to get power steering fluid and said let's just make sure your car takes power steering fluid for that so she entered my car into, 1997 Nissan Sentra actually uses, Automatic Transmission Fluid or ATF instead of Power Steering Fluid. A friend that's worked on my car previously had used power steering fluid, I sent him a pic of the bottle of ATF, that Steph rang up for me. I had asked him before going into the store if I needed a certain kind of PSF, but Steph was on top of things and I was in & out in no time. Thx for having someone Amazingly Helpful, Friendly, Knowledgeable and Professional like Steph on the Advance Auto Parts staff, makes me feel more comfortable as a single woman not knowing much about cars that Steph is there to help me.
I had an excellent experience with an associate named Steph. She was kind upon my entering the store. She immediately helped me look up my wiper blades for my vehicle and even helped me put them on. Service is everything and this girl is a shining example of that. I can tell she’s the kind of person you want running a store of her own. Thank you
Love the staff . But this is one busy store. If you want online pick up or curb side your COMPLETELY out of luck. I order once a week and the best I've ever gotten was when i arrive they will do there best to scramble for it When it is your turn.
Fw my dawg, Pablo. This store always has friendly employees that greet you as soon as you walk in. Pablo helped me save $200 today by giving me some great advice on the problem that I had with my car. I appreciate that so much because it proves that they are not a company that wants to just take your money. They actually want to help and assist you! I appreciate the great customer service and the help! Would definitely recommend!
I needed help with brakes for a buddy. They were very helpful and took the time to talk me through the entire process and what I would need. I liked that they didn’t try to hard sell me on the most expensive pads and rotors and a lot of extra stuff but instead educated me and just let me decide. I’ve been to plenty of other places that didn’t help you half have much.
I came here 30minutes before the store closed and even though they were packed, running everywhere helping their customers they still took care of me very quickly. They checked the battery in my car, sold me a new one and also installed it for me. I wish I would’ve asked the gentleman who helped me for his name but I forgot. He was a Hispanic man with light blue eyes if I’m not mistaken. He was very nice and made sure to help me with everything that I needed. Great service!
