The people were nice, but they caused damage to the sidewall on the front passenger side that is now requiring me to replace the tire. $135 to recover my car is already ridiculous but now I am having to pay for a new tire on top of that
I parked in the wrong spot and got towed, and they ended up destroying my rear bumper and leaving grease all over it. They also dented my exhaust. In addition, my car now makes a squeaking noise while driving which I am going to have to get looked at soon . The people who I picked it up from lied, were rude, and disrespectful.
These outstanding citizens will patrol private properties and tow away your vehicle from your residence (rental) unit at 3AM ON A SUNDAY, supposedly with your rental property permission (we will find out tomorrow), not notify you in any way that you were towed, then there at the location you have to walk through mud and other hazards, do note the beware of dog signs. When confronted in a proportional tone (their entire business is set up to be hostile from the get-go), they will tell you you are being hostile. I played dumb and asked the lady for help because they towed my only vehicle with a car seat and received zero empathy or sympathy— exactly the treatment I expected. Truly an experience in capitalism. $180 to recover a properly parked vehicle (apparently, I had no permission to park at my home), absolutely maddening and predatory! Cheers! This “business” is nasty!
Incredibly rude and condescending, trapped me in the back of their lot after I paid for my car’s release. Refused to give me a jump after draining my cars battery. Smashed in the front emblem of my car and now my car is showing a multitude of scratches and dents AND refused to let me file a a claim for the damages.
These people really must hate their lives, and the only way to cope is to make others’ miserable too. I wouldn’t wish a visit to this place upon my worst enemy, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
These people are why towing has the reputation that it does.
This company prays on college kids and takes advantage of them. We have pictures that this car was parked in the right spot and should not have been towed. I spoke with the owner and he was such an ignorant person, and he hung up on me. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, the township the city, and the apartment complex where the car was towed. Just be aware of this company As they just might be the worst in the area
They are predatory, no warning or anything, they just took my car, even though I had paid for the right to park there. They are charging me an exorbitant price for practically stealing my car.
I’ll start this review out by saying I deserved to have my car towed and fined. Pricing was reasonable and wasn’t anything to get mad over. But my vehicle was heavily scratched and took the paint off of the rear fender. It could’ve been worse but to force broke college kids to pay $150-300 in towing services on top of the $50 fine from the school and then to damage my vehicle causing another $300-600 in repairs just for being in the wrong spot for too long is just down right evil. Tony was nice and helpful but for the driver to damage my most valuable asset in my name is just a lack of care or respect for everyone unlucky enough to get their car towed by this company. That being said, they could have done worse and if they had been completely careless would have immobilized my front wheel drive vehicle if they had towed it wrong and I would have to pay for that as well which I am thankful they did not do.
College students beware!! These people take advantage of college students and don’t care. I went to pick up my car that was towed from my friend’s apartment complex and when expressing my concern on how it was handled a guy named Rick was super disrespectful and confrontational about the situation. As others have said they don’t give you warning of your car being towed and there are no clear indications of tow away zones with fair enforcement. I was also told the staff was talking about me behind my back when I left to retrieve the registration from my car which is rude and unprofessional. I understand being towed but to be treated horribly for no reason is ridiculous. And the cherry on top is finding my car pulled to the back with no care in a swampy mud pile and my tires and rear were completely filthy. So if you get towed check your car for damages! Please listen to the reviews. Terrible people, terrible service and terrible halloween decorations. 0 Stars.
You would think a tow company would want money, but no. I called to have a car removed from my assigned parking spot and was told a truck would be on the way. After an hour and a half of waiting, the person ended up leaving. I even tried calling the company back after an hour to receive an eta (they’re literally only located 10 min away…) and got their voicemail both times. I had to sit in my car that whole time at 1-2am waiting on them because I didn’t want to risk myself getting towed by parking somewhere else. Horrible service.
Absolute joke of a business. I’d like to say, I get it, I get towed and it’s on me. What I don’t get is how they run this business. There’s no certainty when you can pick up your car, you have to call ahead. Also note, for students, you don’t have to bring the owner of the car to pick it up. The guy on the phone got butt hurt when talking to him, so he specifically asked for the owner of the car to come. The front desk man was nice, he helped my dad and I through the process. Whoever picked up the phone though should receive some sort of run through…and because he asked, I gave them a star. All the other towing companies in the area have good reviews, don’t blame the concept of your work, blame how you run your business.
Seamless and easy. 1 star reviews are from dumb kids who can't take accountability for their own mistakes. Towing companies gotta make money, too. Super easy process, and the lady working the front is SUPER nice.
My friend's misleading apartment complex parking lot lead to me getting towed during finals week, the last week of school, after parking in the spot I've been parking in for a few days a week for the past few months, I get towed during finals week. Then they have the gull to take cash only for towing, making us have to come back after getting cash.
If you want a company that preys on college students this one's a good choice.
Be weary as company shares a very similar name as another towing company not too far from them (in coco, Fl) that is the worst! Posted our lack there of towing request over 5mos ago and they just responded to our poor review. Time Managment and review seems slow; They do not tow with AAA.
This towing company is in violation of Orange County Code Division III, Article II, Chapter 35, Section 35-56 (n)(1), which stipulates that acceptable methods of payment must include major debit/credit cards, and that the towed vehicle can be picked up within 1 hour of request.
My car got towed and when I called, they told me it would cost $125 CASH ONLY to get my car back. On top of that, they open at 10am and I called at 8am, so I asked if I could pick up the car at 9am because of the law and the dude said that the 1 hour starts when I ARRIVE at the place. Since this place was 25 minutes from where I was, that was ridiculous.
The driver preyed on us we parked at Walgreens in coco beach walked across the street while waiting for medicine to be fill the nasty unprofessional two truck driver twoed my car in a mostly empty parking lot just to make a $325 only in cash tow bill adding dumb fees… I am livid after reading the Florida law for towing I’m filing a law suit against this company. They need to be shut down for unprofessionalism.. BBB will be contacted also!!!! Would never recommend
These guys towed my car. I thought this was America. I was parked in an apartment complex and the spots were not labeled. 5am i walk out of my ladies house to drive home. Cars gone. Cost me 125 to get it back. What kind of scam is this. Lol

So rude. Saying stuff like “he’s not going to be waiting there all day” they also have odd hours so you can't get your car. They charge you more by the day. Disgusting people. I'm going to be personally reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They shouldn't be charging different prices each time. I understand why towing companies do what they do, but this is unacceptable. If you're going to charge rates, be honest about it the prices. Shame on you guys scamming ppl.
For all the people out there I would like to share the experience I had with Reliable Towing & Recovery. Today at 10:30 a.m. I got my car towed by them because I parked my car in the wrong spot. When arriving to get my car they had no office and had to talk to some random man that was very rude. I asked him how much is it to get my car he lied and $384 and my car was only sitting there for 52 minutes. I repeat back to him $384. I asked him do y’all take card he said no cash only. Mind you this he’s not even giving no eye contact. So I left to go to an ATM to get his money. While going to the ATM I called the owner of the business and asked him to explain the bill to me. Once he explained the bill to me he told me a different balance from what the tower told me. The owner told me my bill was $342. So I was a little skeptical about giving my money to the tower who told me that my bill was $384. So I told the owner I would like for him to be present so the other man doesn’t rip me off because I feel that he is lying about the price so he can have some extra money to put in his pocket. Once I got there With the money I asked will I get a receipt. He said no you’ll get a text once we get the money. Once I got my car from the back I spoke to the owner about my concerns. I told him that the tower lied about the price. And he says that he doesn’t believe me because his tower would never do that and I told Him I repeat the price that he told me which was $384 and he never once corrected me so I feel that he was being dishonest. And it wasn’t like I was the only person that heard him my grandmother was there when he told me this inaccurate price. The owner told me that was not going to do anything. I said that’s it your not going to do anything. He said do you want me to fire him because I’m not. I didn’t want him to fire the man I just wanted to be a consequence for the mans dishonesty. But doing nothing was not ok and I told him that. And he says that he has others cars to tow and he doesn’t have time for this. I said wow your not going to do anything. He said I’m not but you can get your sh*t and get off my f*cking lot while stepping towards me and got in my face. He was very much aggressive. I felt like that was no way to handle the situation. You don’t cuss at somebody that has a concern with your employee’s dishonesty. I would never recommend this company to anybody. I already filed a formal complaint with the BBB ( Better Business Bureau ) if you get your car towed I hope Tron’s towing company tows you because they have better customer service and doesn’t make you pay outrageous fees for 52 minutes like this towing company did
Very good people had no problem picking up my car that got towed no damages they treated me with upmost respect and was quickly with the paperwork to get my car very good company it was my fault I got towed not paying attention to signs and rules my friends did not tell me about there parking rules
They will illegally open your car after it has been towed and illegally kept me from getting my belongings even after I offered to sign my car over to them. I have proof for all my allegations and even reached out to the owner but he’s even more rude than his nasty employees. This place won’t last long.
Did not have any damages to car and front desk made process quick. You have to stand outdoors during the paperwork park so keep this in mind. Don’t want to make your day worse by sitting outside in the rain.
We called when the company was still open, nobody wanted to get us our car. We waited for hours until these guys showed up in a towing truck. The guy on the phone was the worst, annoyed at me calling and asking to get my car back, which he said I would just have to wait in the morning, when I had things in the car I needed for my health. Said I could get in, when I could not to get the medicine. Worst person to have on you phones for a company. Said He couldn’t reach the towing people, then I asked if he could and they said he was perfectly able to, but probably didn’t because he was I bed.
They towed my car, I called their number. Guy picks up and is miserably rude. What I don’t understand is how can they advertise themselves as 24/7 if we’re not allowed to pick up a car until opening? I have the right to contact the company that towed my car and schedule release 24/7, that’s a towing law. I even disclosed that I have medication in my car, guy said I can access my car for the medication. So if I can access my car for the medication, why can’t I access my car and GO HOME. He didn’t know what to say, of course. Because this company is unprofessional.
The place was a mess and the employees were not very friendly. I mean they tow college kids cars for a living... When we paid and we're being shown to our car the lady walked us back and opened a gate to a huge lot and said "good luck finding your car". She should have had some clue as to were it was considering that was what she was supposed to do. Then when the driver of the car left we were still standing there and she said in front of our faces "what a witch". One of the people she said it infront of was clearly her daughter. Guy was ok tho.
If I could rate a negative five star I would ... Movin out of my apartment complex we parked somewhere quickly to get tv to put in the car...their reason for towing is that they came 15mins and the car was still there which is ridiculous lie because it doesn't take 15mins to get a TV out of a house and put in a car. So after begging the guy to please let the car go seeing that I have to drive all the way to Tampa he said we need to pay $125 CASH!!! ..it's 2019 who walks around with cash ? We said okay we'll go get the cash but he said we will bring it to towing yard and you will have to pick it up in the morning 10am like if your a professional "reliable" company don't you think you should have other options of getting money like accept card ? Apparently not to them cash only is accepted they called the cops since my aunt didn't want to leave the car and they tow it in the process of getting cash so we also called the cops it was honestly a horrible stressful moment and I really hope the company gets shut down. I would like to say more awful things but I'm resisting the urge to cuss. At end of day I would like to say I'm extremely grateful for the officer's that worked that night they were extremely helpful and reasonable in understanding the situation.
Super unprofessional and rude over the phone. Not only was no one at the establishment when we arrived to retrieve the impounded car, but we were forced to wait more than half an hour for someone to arrive and assist us.
Customer Service was okay once he arrived.
The man I talked to on the phone was very abrupt and rude. The man at the office was civil, but refused to let me see my car before paying $150(!!!!!) to get it back. Also, there was a 3-inch long area on the bumper where the paint had been scratched completely off. Absolutely would NOT recommend using them.
