Dont waste your time with these guys. Just lazy and can't show up to open, do thier jobs, or even answer the phone. Showed up at 10:30am on Tuesday Jan 21 and the gate was locked up and tried calling twice to no answer. Thanks for wasting my time North Nassau Recycling.
I'm pretty sure there scale is broken or it's just a scam. Had at least 700 pounds of clean aluminum and they said it was only 300 pounds. I wouldn't go here. Your better off going to Jacksonville if you actually want to make any kind of money.
We vacationed in Amelia Island. When we vacation I always want to recycle but sometimes it is a big hassle to find a place. This spot was easy. I dropped off a bag of aluminum cans and got a dollar and change for them. All in all it took 5 minutes and I didn't have to put a bunch of aluminum cans in a landfill or schlep them home.
Don't go here !!! You will get ripped off by a shady old man. Little sign on the fence says "we accept any and all iron or steel as a "public service"? He must mean his Bank Account because, he's Selling that steel to someone. Also he's lucky I've gotten a little older, not as broke as I used to be, and more of an adversion to prison or I would have whooped his old a$$ on the spot...
Last time going here. Totally ripped me off for my aluminum cans. Will be taking them elsewhere from now on. Check price before you go here, or you will get robbed.
They've been very good to me. aluminum recycling and also letting me pull parts from equipment, like a car salvage yard at a good price. Never been rude to me.
First i called them and asked if they accepted washers and dryers. the man on the phone assured me that they did, and he told me how much it was per pound. so i packed up the washer into my car(by myself), and then drive over there. first there was no one in sight and when i finally did see someone i told him i recently called about the washer and he just looked in my car at washer and said "nope not doing it" and turned around and walked inside. that was very rude and terrible service. never going there again
