On Friday 13 of February 2026, my husband's BMW failed to start about a block from Auto Zone in Fernandina Beach. The manager, Jared Simon, offered to jump his car. After that failed, he helped my husband unload his trunk of golf clubs, brought the battery located in the trunk to Auto Zone and determined it was completely dead. I purchased a replacement and he brought the new battery (and me) back to the BMW, installed it, and sent us on our way. He salvaged our day and provided EXCELLENT, friendly service way beyond what he needed to do. We are ever so grateful and highly recommend he and his Auto Zone located in Fernandina Beach! Store was Busy. I was late for Work and my Car was mis-behaving. Staff kept their cool. Every customer was Served and had a good experience in the Process. Store manager went above and beyond. I wish my Drs Office (and where I work as well really) ran like this Store.

Just stopped by the store, had a tail light issue. Jared was great, he came outside and looked at the light and troubleshot the issue. Turned out not to be bulb issue, so he pulled out and checked fuses. Was a great help, went out of his way for me. Thank you Jared!

If you need ANYTHING auto related definitely go to AutoZone! I needed a new battery for my car. Douglas Cochran was extremely helpful and changed it out for me. He even found a coupon I could use for the purchase! Shop local and support this excellent location!

My battery died while visiting and Roger was great. There were eight batteries that died that day only and three of us were there at the same time. He was very efficient and even put a shim because my cable was corroded which gave me a good connection. He was very knowledgeable. I even tried to tip him which he refused!

Roger and Gerry did a great job troubleshooting my issue and replacing my battery. I have a Jeep and it was very difficult figuring out where the battery was hidden.

Came out of restaurant to a car that wouldn’t start. Got a jump and went across the street to AutoZone. The wonderful worker,Angel, was helpful. She lent us a tool to tighten the battery cables ….Problem Solved!! She was Kind, professional. Truly an angel. Didn’t need anything… so we bought a Ram hat as a “thank you.”

Angel is amazing. She realized a former employee didn’t enter in a warrant on a battery and made it push thru. Quality customer service. Can do attitude of days gone by. Customer service from Angel was the best! As a woman who is often intimidated buying car parts, she made me feel extremely comfortable as well. THANK YOU ANGEL

There are tons of auto part stores, so let us be honest they all are stocked well and if they don’t have it can get what you need next day. So why shop one store over the other? This store is clean well stocked but most of all, has staff that are knowledgeable and friendly. Did I mention friendly, never met the lady before, and by the time I left I felt I knew her has a long time friend. It sure is nice to shop where you feel valued and feel comfortable. I’ll be back!!! Thanks for the great friendly service.

Good morning. I wanted to take a few minutes to recognize Roger, who is the General Manager of your Fernandina Beach store, store #6233. This morning, I arrived to the store at 8am after dropping my kids off at school. I have a 2014 Jaguar FX that had a front head light out. Now, it should be known that I do not fix anything around my house, I am not a DIYer….I am just not handy. I always must call someone to do the job or take my car in for service. Having said that, I explained to Roger what I needed. He looked up the light in your system and sold me the bulb I needed. I thanked him for the purchase and after knowing I probably didn’t know what I was doing Roger offered to come out to my car to look at it. Roger took a cap off, looked at for a few minutes and knowing it was not a simple fix said, “let me go in and google that.” I appreciated that and then stayed with the car while he went back in the store. I even searched it on You Tube and realized this may take some time and various tools. After spending about ten minutes researching it inside, Roger came back out and began working on it. He quickly got the bulb out and then replaced it with the one I had just bought. It was very tricky to get the bulb casing back into the light and Roger spent another ten minutes working diligently to put it all back together. Also, it should be done that it was bright, sunny and over 90 degrees outside while he did all this work. I was completely amazed that Roger went the “extra mile” and took almost 30 minutes of his time to help a customer. I was blown away! I am in the customer service business and know how difficult it is to find leaders who genuinely care about the customer and will do what it takes to make them completely satisfied. Again, please be sure to thank and recognize Roger for a “job well done!” First Class!!

We stopped here during our long road trip of 1500 miles. The car engine light came on and we still had nearly 400 miles to drive. The manager was so very kind and reassuring and helpful! He did a quick computer check on the engine to see if we had a serious problem. Fortunately we were fine! Relieved and ever so grateful we continued on our journey. If I ever needed help or advice I would go here! This is a great place!!

The staff was helpful and they had to research to get the warranty honored but did it. Previous vendor had placed the purchase associated with my phone number under another business. They were polite and eager to assist me. Great job to all on Wednesday 4/26/23.

Ordered a couple of things online for pickup in - store and received the email saying my order was ready for pickup. Went to the store to pick it up and only half of my order was ready. The other half wasnt ready because one of the employees "forgot" to pick it up. That employee also said he tried calling my number on the order but couldnt get ahold of me because it was saying "number no longer in service". Thats funny because everyone else that uses my number to get in touch with me goes straight through. My take on this....the employee was just being lazy and didnt want to do his job correctly. Ill be using another Autozone from now on.

I want to share what excellent customer service I received today at Auto Zone in Fernandina Beach FL. Roger F went above and beyond, in the heat, to not only install a new battery but to clean all the areas where corrosion had contaminated. He went above and beyond and I am very grateful! 5 stars! Our car would not start without a jump, we were told by AAA to go to AutoZone and have them check the battery. The gentleman was helpful for checking our battery but told us it was the alternator. My husband was in the middle of calling Nissan in Jacksonville since we were on aMelia Island when I said let's go to a local auto shop and we did. It was the battery so we purchased the battery from them. We could have purchased it from AutoZone. Either way the gentleman was nice he just didn't give us good information.

Teddy went above and beyond helping me with my needs today. I highly suggest visiting his auto zone if you have any automotive needs. He was so kind and took the time to put the windshield wiper fluid in for me and checked my tire pressure. Then suggested where to go to get my tires filled. They are awesome

Love this place. It’s only been open a few months but when I had a taillight out the manager himself came out in sub-50 degree weather and took part my taillight assembly to help me replace my light. Great guy and excellent staff all around. Will be back soon.

I was in a hurry delivering medication for my job and my coolant light came on so I went here. One of the employees named Teddy was very helpful and helped me get in and out very fast so I could get to my clients. He came out to my car and helped me put my coolant in and showed me what kind to use. He knows what he’s doing and he seems like a great employee and guy. Definitely five stars

We were out of town on vacation. Drove my car, no problem. Got car packed to head home and battery was dead. Headed to AutoZone, they were super. Checked battery for free and installed our new battery at no charge. Great place.
