Staff was great! Just wish the parking lot didn’t end up being the local dump. When the lot doesn’t get cleaned it encourages others to dump their fluid jugs and everything else.

They have amazing service!! I ordered battery online from their website and came in to get battery test first which they did to make sure it's good, which it is. Then they even teach me how to install new battery and replace the old one with quick check up on other parts of the car. Love them!!

Had a dead battery , brought it to store with receipt, Rob the manger noticed it was not the right receipt , looked up the battery and noticed it was one month out of warranty , he was exceptionally understanding of my situation,needless to say he worked out a deal that would satisfy AutoZone & me. Obtained parts prices over the phone. Purchased a car battery the next day at the price given on the phone. Helpful and friendly service. There is an incredibly large area inside with many, many car parts.

Went there for a couple of things they did not have in stock even though their web page said they had it in stock so I had to buy a more expensive version of what I needed or go somewhere else

On Monday Morning, June 9th I visited AutoZone, Middletown, DE because a battery I had purchased there at the end of 2023 was apparently not holding a charge. Bob Sparks, the manager, went to my car and performed a check on the battery, starter and alternator. Although initially the battery seemed OK, Bob noticed a small amount of battery acid on the surface of the case. He then got a new battery and personally installed it into my car. I am very impressed with the professionalism, great attitude and willingness to help the customer exhibited by Bob Sparks on behalf of AutoZone. This creates permanent customer loyalty and great publicity for your company. still couldnt deposit oil. Their tank just sits full. Going on 3rd week now and counting actually. Good thing firestone empties their tank every week.

If i could give this place zero stars i would. How are you going to be so disorganized to the point of accusing customers that YOU asked to come in of lying and theft of a product that they never received? Even with a paper trail showcasing your failure to deliver said product, you turn around and berate your customer to the point of reaching out to customer support, who then told us that this store’s manager was a consistent problem amongst customers, but STILL you turn around and call your customer and berate them for YOUR mistake. The only mistake is thinking that help could be had at this location, you’re truly better off going somewhere even if it’s further out. At the very least if they make a mistake at a different location, you won’t be made to be at fault ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I would not recommend going here. Representatives were not helpful and made apparent that it would be burdensome for them to do so. Staff was audibly irate, actively disregarded customers and were especially disgruntled. Very grating experience.

"Manager" Rob has the worst customer service that I've seen in a while and his attitude is terrible as well. He would rather talk to a customer/his friend about things they like doing on their free time rather than help anyone in the line. He also refused to help his fellow employees to find me a part I needed because they didn't know what they were really looking for, of course I do not blame them for that, but he could have helped. This place has not been good since he's been in management. Hopefully it gets better because I'd prefer to drive to the next town over before I go to this one and I only live 3 minutes away or go across the street to Advanced Auto. Im only giving it two stars because a few of the staff were extremely helpful.

Rob and Jackson were super helpful! They really put in the time and effort to change out my old battery even when it was being difficult. I’m so appreciative of them for being so kind and dedicated to fixing the issues I was having.

Dead batteries can be a real pain, especially in winter times, such as now. We're able to jump start it, and drove it directly to Autozone. By this time, it was almost 6 PM, dark, and below 40 F. The crew had no issues helping us get a new battery picked out, and installed in the dark even. Pricing for the battery was competitive, and took about 15-20 min for the swap out. Very much appreciated the effort, and courtesy. Will definitely return for future parts and service when the need arises.

My wife's battery died. We went here to get it checked to make sure it was. Omar helped us. He was great. He help us install it and give great assurance to my wife that it wouldn't happen again soon. Omar again Thank you.

Was out of town in Middletown DE and went to this store due to a dead battery. An employee by the name of Jackson said he would install the battery for me and even though it was a very challenging battery to change he persisted and got the job done with such a great attitude! Kid deserves a raise!

Tons of oem parts in stock, and anything they don't have on the shelf can be shipped in within a couple days, unlike other parts stores the staff here has real knowledge about the products they are selling, Rich and Victorya are always super friendly and helpful, highly recommend shopping here for all of your auto parts needs

I Called the store to ask what size steering wheel covers they have available and I was told that I should Google it. I then asked if they could just inform me of the highest size they had in stock at their location and the employee would not even check their stock and again told me to Google it. I asked for a manager and was informed the man I was speaking with was the manager and that he didnt have time to do things like check their stock and then was hung up on. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I'd feel embarrassed to even go into that store to buy that item after the experience I had.. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Visiting this store was a great experience. They were able to identify the wiper blades my vehicle required and installed the replacement blades. The store is clean and organized, employees are helpful and friendly.

They were wonderful! They helped me with my battery testing right away and helped me find the exact one I needed! It was pricey so I didn't grab it today but I will be getting it taken care of! I will definitely be going back any time I need anything for my car while I'm in Middletown and telling others to as well! Thank you for making a potentially stressful event stress free! *I'm completely serious

TL:DR: Was made to do work we paid extra for, employee just threw away essential parts because they were hard to put on. Rude employees As an autozone customer I was made an employee within 10 minutes of arriving. We decided to pay a bit extra at autozone for a battery because they include installation in the price. The employee who took out our battery was having a hard time and asked for our help which was absolutely fine. (Though odd as another employee was outside with him not even 10 seconds earlier and had oddly enough pointed at us right before leaving, I'm sure she just didnt feel like helping it was very hot) After helping him uninstall the employee taking out our battery asked us to go inside and get a bolt for him as he had broken one, again odd but fine. After looking for a minute or two we asked one of the five employees standing in a group (who couldn't be bothered to help out with the battery though we'd already been there 30 minutes now) what bolt we needed and we were again just told where they were and to figure it out ourselves. Apparently the employee had thrown away the bolt, they reluctantly found it in the trash and again told us figure it out. After a few minutes of trying to find it another employee finally came and helped. We went back out with him as he put in the last bolt and discovered not only had the bolt been thrown away the heat cover on our battery had been to hard to put back on so that was just thrown in the trash too.

Best place to go for all auto part needs!!! I cannot stress enough how helpful the guys over at AutoZone are. A young gentleman came out took my battery out checked it and went above and beyond to try and help me. Once the battery was out we couldn't open my trunk back up this guy literally went in through my back seat and after all the struggle and being literally in my trunk he got it open. He placed my battery back in had the best most helpful attitude won't go anywhere else from now on.

The store manager and other employees are very professional; the manager helped me to identify and order parts needed to winterize and keep my vehicle safe and running smoothly. He also tested my vehicle to identified potential hazardous and other areas of concern. All of the services were provided expediently and professionally; I was in and out of the store in less than 30 minutes. Great Service!
