I cannot recommend this place in the slightest and hope others read this before supporting this location. On December 26th, 2025 I was traveling through CT during a snow storm. I had just left the hospital where my mother had her most recent chemo session and was on my way home five hours north. My vehicle had broken down just five minutes from this O'Reilly Auto Parts and it just needed a new battery. Luckily (or I thought) I had 30 minutes to spare before the store closed and called here to source the new battery. I call to facilitate this so it's ready when I get there and the store associate said "while we have the battery, we can't help, we already closed the registers." I exclaim that I'm driving through CT and am two hours into a five hour drive and wouldn't have another option hoping they would empathize, however they told me that they would risk losing their job if they accepted the order as they already closed the registers. I personally believe they should lose their job for closing the registers before the store even closed. As a result, I had to tow my vehicle and get a hotel. If this store had hired responsible associates that took their job seriously, I would have had a new battery and been in and out before 9:00pm when they closed. They will no longer be an option for my business moving forward and hope you consider supporting the local Advanced Auto or Autozone before looking here as well.
Would not look up account number seeing I was from out of state said could not verify me anyway very unhappy
Okay been awhile no response shows how much they care poor customer service
My splash guard was hanging from the bottom of my car yesterday and I didn't feel safe driving it. Not so much for my safety, but for other drivers. God forbid it were to fall off while driving it could cause an accident. Being a Sunday, most auto shops weren't open and the few that were did not return my calls/texts. I called O'Reilly's on a whim after reading a five star review and I am so glad I did. Zach said to bring it by and, on the coldest day of the year, went outside, looked at the guard, took pictures, went back inside, looked up the type of screws needed, got out some tools, and screwed it back in, again, on the coldest day of the year. Completely no gain for him (I obviously tipped but he certainly wasn't expecting that and was genuinely surprised when I came back later with cash). He went way above and beyond his job responsibilities and because of that I was able to make my plans (that were made over a month ago) of going with my sister, niece, and nephew to see a Christmas lights display. I also work in an industry where this is the busiest time of year, and I would have had to scramble to find a body shop that could squeeze me in this morning. Otherwise, I would have had to Uber to and from work, on top of probably paying an arm and a leg for a mechanic's labor of all of five minutes. Thank you again Zach. The holidays are a tough time of year for me and this would have just made them even worse. It was a much needed reminder that there still are some good, decent people in this world who help others without the expectation of a return. Happy and healthy holidays to all the staff!!!
Worst part store in prob the state, the people who used to work there were great but now it's all new guys that know absolutely nothing of value.. I see the district manager gave this place a 5 star? Conflict of interest much? The store manager joe is next to useless. Don't bother having him resolve any of your issues guy doesn't even know about cars
Im. Totally impressed how the Naugatuck ct store is operating. Who ever got it down like an army of soldiers they got it . Working like a machine . The service and a phone call when the parts are ready that how it's done I've been coming here for a whole now and been telling everyone to go there for any type of car ,truck,hevavy dury truck,and machinery. Thank you for everything you do sincerely Danny fix it .
The new store manager joe has to be the rudest person I've ever dealt with in any auto parts store.. I've been coming to this oreily pretty much since they opened, but the disrespect that joe showed me last week makes me never want to go back.. stick to autozone or Napa. This used to be a decent spot but unfortunately not anymore, Idk how this guy has a job with that level of unprofessionalism
My shop has commercial access with them , they still can't get that right , my personal experiences have been lacking. Some people behind the counter are great, some.act like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. I asked about an antifreeze type I needed , I was told (with ZERO other customers in store ) "the anti freeze is over there " with a finger point ....got a bad caliper from them, sent my son to return it , they gave him a hassle, it's been the main reason I stopped patronage there . I even order outside them for work , only use them if the account needs to charge something
I walked in today and Nick helped me. He was actually a miracle worker and saved the day with my car. Such a nice person and so knowledgeable they are lucky to have him as an employee!
I was having *extreme* car problems when I rolled my old car in and thought it was dead. I then found Zack an excellent employee who got my car in good enough working order to make it home saving me hundreds in towing fees, the man is magic and deserves at least 1 raise.
Fantastic experience from both in front and behind the counter! While building my first engine I was there all the time and rarely went to the other stores. Has always been the best mix of helpful and knowledgeable staff, well stocked and quick sourcing if not in store, good prices and a clean organized storefront. Makes a massive difference, and that’s why it was the #1 choice to work at too! It’s a great place to be — a true auto parts store.
Price compares to advanced & auto zone. Had more of a selection of 2 & 4 cycle oils then the 2 stores previously mentioned. Staff was helpful & nice. Stores overall appearance was clean & organized. Id shop here again just for the mere fact that staff wax helpful & not dismissive of me cause I'm a woman.
Just a really great bunch of guys and they couldn’t have been more helpful! Thanks for installing my windshield wipers today. I highly recommend them for all your auto part needs they know what they’re doing
Disappointed! I came here and spent $272.21 on rotors and they gave me the wrong ones! I need them done badly and I wasted my mechanics time & my time. Now I have to wait even longer. I wish I would’ve looked at the receipt before I left. It says for a 2010 when I told the guy 2001. First time shopping here and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
Best parts store in town! This is the furthest parts store from my house but the ONLY one where the employees are helpful and actually care about the customer. I won’t even consider advance or autozone anymore. Really happy this place opened up!
This is the best auto store in town. If you want the right part and like the people behind the counter to know what they're talking about then go here first! Prices are very good as well. Finally, a decent auto store in town.
