They were always my goto auto part store when I lived in Old Saybrook, and I have never had a problem there and it was a pretty quick transactions.

ADVANCE AUTO PARTS, IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC ! THEY ALWAYS HAVE WHAT I NEED HIGH QUALITY PARTS AND 5 STAR SEVICE. I JUST BOUGHT A BATTERY FOR MY CAR TODAY. I had an amazing experience at Advance Auto in Old Saybrook today. Melissa went above and beyond to help me get my truck up and running again. I could not thank her enough! Highly recommend.

I gotta give 5 stars. I was dealing a lot on Clinton at autozone and advanced. Every employee I have come into contact with In the saybrook location has been helpful and great. The girls and guys that work here really know there stuff thank you!

When you call they are so short with their conversation.

Literally the greatest place I’ve been at. Customer service through the roof, they will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. They don’t fit the typical stigma of auto shops being mean and ignorant. Amazing people and amazing management.

I received a defective ignition switch plug and play job melted my wiring harness was told they were going to reimburse me for the labor and parts had to call Will Franco commercial accts manager many times to never get a legitimate time frame or answer on the reimbursement and multiple emails for him to ignore my phone calls eventually and never give me an answer or 1 cent to fix the car. Will be closing my commercial acct there and will make sure everyone on the community that I work with knows as well. Over 20yrs doing business with them to end it like this...

Got a flat on my way to work which was promptly helped by Dwayne. Serviced my tire with free parts and even borrowed an air tank next door to help me get back on the road; all within 30 minutes. This place run by good people who want to help—rare to come by these days

My go to place to order and get in store parts . Staff here is very knowledgeable and parts come in fast if you have to order them.

Im writing this on behalf of my mom. She would like Dewayne to be recognized as a great employee. Yesterday He came out to help her with her paint code on her jeep. She was very happy that you guys had the paint for her jeep in stock. He also recommended some detail products that she might need as well. Service was ok. I was greeted when I walked in, which I appreciate, but when I said I was ok and would ask if I needed help, the two staff took that as a que to ignore me so they could chatter among each other. By the time I could have used some help, I felt awkward interrupting them and so just bought one quick thing and left. I don’t think I’ll be back. As a business owner, I support local businesses whenever possible. I’m not super excited about supporting a business that offers mediocre service, at best, though.

Very convenient location in Old Saybrook, the staff is both friendly and helpful. Store is well laid out and they seem to have everything.

Shelfs were empty. No spray paint and the price for a can of spray paint is a rip off. It's $4 at Walmart at $8+ here

Dewayne was a great help today in the Old Saybrook store when I needed assistance. He seemed very knowledgeable and had me all set with the items I needed in no time. The store was very busy and I was very impressed with his ability to help as many people as he could and keep the line moving! I know where I’ll be shopping next time. Thank you!!

Usually friendly staff, today I checked out with “Dewayne” and when I asked him for oil that you have to get out of the back he rolled his eyes and said “f***” right to my face in front of 3 other customers. Will not be returning.

Always have what I need when I need it never had a bad experience here the staff is helpful and knowledgeable just a real good place to go when your looking for something automotive

Needed a light bulb for my Maxima HID headlights. Charged me $100 for a light bulb! To make matters worse I installed the bulb only to find out it was a bad ballast. They wouldn’t take the bulb back because they said it was against policy (Of course the sales guy never told me that when buying the bulb) and tell me they want $350 for the ballast. Okay, so I look up a bulb on Amazon and find it for 1/2 the price for a name brand and $16.99 for two knock-offs. Find the ballast for $50. I’ll never shop here again and will certainly look up parts up on-line before buying from a big parts store!

Manager really helped me out with getting new car battery under warranty when my receipt was missing. Good people at this store

Unfortunately this is one of the only local parts stores near me that I use on a regular basis. Worst part is every time I go in to order a part I get the same lack of respect by the same employee mark. I feel there should be something done about this and thought others would want to know thanks.

The staff seemed knowledgeable and pleasant. I did not end up buying anything because the price was a little too high for what I was looking for.

They did not know too much about Toyota vehicles the guy at the counter did not know too much about electrical and I had to help out and explaining to the customer how is solenoid work they could have been a bit more helpful and a little bit more knowledgeable

A clean well organized parts store. They stock pretty much everything you need for your car along with some fun auto accessories.
