I had a part needed to be put in and service to be done on my Chevy Bolt. It cost as much as I was told and took as long as I was told. The car is running wonderfully now.

I had a great experience at Grossmen in Old Saybrook. I usually dread going car shopping. Can't stand the pressure or the games. They helped to make it easy making my purchase. And an added bonus, I really love their service department!!!

I have had a great experience with the service department at Grossman Chevrolet. They offer loaner vehicles, making things extremely convenient. I was especially impressed that they provided emergency battery replacement (2) on a Saturday—huge help when you're in a pinch. Jim, Carrie, and Brian are all a pleasure to work with—friendly, professional, and efficient. And Jason, the mechanic, is top-notch. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. Highly recommend!

Bought a used car from them. Had a great experience working with the salesmen, managers, and the finance team. Each of them was personable and kind. They took the time to sit with us to make sure we knew all the features of the car and we were comfortable with everything before we drove it off the lot. They even called a week after purchase to check in and make sure we were still happy and didn't have any questions. Although I do think they are overpriced overall, I would work with them again because they were great.

I just wanted to share my experience with regards to my brand new purchase of my 2017 Watkins Gray metallic back in the early summer of 2017! Grossman Chevrolet dealership was a 5 star exceptional experience! All sales staff were outstanding...especially Linda...such a professional and a real pleasure to have worked with! The service department experience was absolutely outstanding experience always! I highly appreciate and recommend this great dealership for any and all your GM needs!

I want to preface this with if you want to buy well maintained, clean titled, superb maintenance record cars this is the place to buy. Outstanding sales team Ian and his counterpart made the process simple and easy. However, stay away from the service department. Brought my car in fix a sunroof leaked and they told me no fault found and only cleaned the front drains. Before I left I slipped the underside of the sunroof and low and behold water intrusion. They then proceeded to water test it again and once I physically showed them where they properly diagnosed it. The wanted to replace my seal (300$ and then another 600$ in labor) on a car i just bought from them less than 30 days ago (at the time). Took my business elsewhere and got a much better deal.

I had called Todd yesterday telling him my mom was highly interested in a specific car. He was more than happy to help. We agreed to come see it today with the intentions on buying it. I had missed his call around 830am this morning. He left a voicemail telling me to come look at the car and I called back and left a voicemail for him saying I was going to be there around 1:30-2pm. I arrived at 2. Walked inside to see Todd just for him to tell my mom he sold it early that morning. We wasted 45min driving to old saybrook. No apology from Todd, he didn’t even ask my mom if she wanted to look at another car. She was very upset with those actions. She was willing to buy a different model if he had asked but he showed no effort or customer service toward her. Grossman Chevrolet has lost our business and won’t recommend to any friends. We will be going back to Executive Chevrolet in Wallingford.

It was a pleasure working with Ian and the entire Grossman team on the purchase on my new car! The process could not have been easier. I recently purchased a 2025 Taco from Grossman Chevrolet in Old Saybrook. I love the car and my experience with Grossman was very pleasant and professional. I have been dealing with Grossman Chevrolet for 40 years, various cars over a very long time span. Truth be told, I did stray to a foreign car for a few years but, I am glad to be back with Grossman Chevrolet. First off, I would like to say thank you to Grossman Chevy Service for getting my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 back on the road again! After a long and difficult process these guys were able to find the problem quickly and get it fixed! Carrie the service manager was excellent to work with and very professional. She always kept me up to date with what was going on with the truck and when the repairs might be done! I was having issues with my transmission, and they were able to get the repair approved with the warranty company I have on my truck and also got the job done right! Jason is also an excellent technician and really knows these trucks and understood what I was experiencing with the truck! Overall, I would have to say that they went above and beyond my expectations and if I ever have any more issues my truck will be going back here for repairs! Thank you again Grossman Chevrolet!

Grossman Chevrolet – The Only Dealership I Trust! I can’t say enough about how incredible the service at Grossman Chevrolet in Old Saybrook is. When I had an electrical issue with my taillight, they handled it with professionalism, efficiency, and absolutely no hassle. I had purchased my truck from Grossman and paid for an extended warranty with Progressive, which covers everything except normal wear and tear. Thinking I could get it serviced closer to home, I first took my truck to Maritime Chevrolet in Fairfield—which turned out to be a huge mistake. Their customer service was awful, they refused to help, and they acted as if they had no idea how to process an extended warranty claim. I was left frustrated and without a solution. That’s when I turned back to Grossman Chevrolet—the dealership I should have trusted from the start. Unlike Maritime, they immediately verified my warranty, processed the claim, and got my truck fixed quickly and professionally. The only amount I had to pay was the deductible, as expected—no runaround, no excuses, just excellent service. This experience confirmed what I already knew: if you want a dealership that actually cares about its customers, you need to go to Grossman Chevrolet. They stand behind their sales, honor their warranties, and make sure you leave happy. Do yourself a favor—don’t waste your time with places like Maritime Chevrolet. If you want trustworthy, top-tier service, go to Grossman Chevrolet in Old Saybrook. They’ve earned my loyalty, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dealership they can truly rely on.

Grossman Chevy always goes above and beyond when I bring my truck for service. Staff is friendly, attentive and always makes me feel like they have my best interest at hand. They work with my very busy schedule and do what they say when they say.

$1,200 bucks later I'm on the side of the road in the first 50 miles after "repair" Couldn't be bothered to refill the oil after replacing a cooler line. Oil wasn't even on the stick. Pathetic. Talk about buyers remorse, my god.

Overall bad experience. The Service Manager was rude in the morning when I got there. I mentioned to him that I was supposed to have a rental key left for me, and he told me he didn’t know what I was talking about and that I should probably wait to talk to someone else, with an aggressive attitude. Not to mention the car wasn’t ready for me even though I sent my information to them the week prior. But that was a simple forgivable slip of thought, that’s not at all the worst of it. When my car’s issue was diagnosed, I received a quote for around $1,500 if my warranty wasn’t used. When I presented my warranty, I was not shown a second quote, but we did discuss that my warranty deductible was $100. When I returned to pay and pick up my car, the bill was magically $400. They explained multiple times that my warranty is third party and was bought from another dealership so they don’t have the same price deal. Fine, so why wasn’t a quote provided to me BEFORE? And by that logic, I can’t return to Grossman for service since it’ll cost me extra dollars that it wouldn’t cost me elsewhere. When I mentioned that logic to them they said, “oh no, you can come here. Just talk to us and we’ll take care of you.” Does that not sound like price gouging? To whomever reads this and prints this out and staples it to my file just like my last review, don’t bother calling me. I’m not returning, just want folks to know how shady this was.

Miguel is the best !!! We got in at 9am and was out of there with our car in the fastest time we're ever done when going to a dealership!!! Everyone was also very kind and patient . We felt their honesty as they spoke in details about what we needed . While we waited , we were able to get our old car checked for a recall on it.
