They did horrible work and destroyed the motor in my car, claiming everything if fine. They RTV my drain plug and oil pan, used the wrong length hardware causing internal motor damage all after claiming it was a complete rebuild. Overall terrible quality.

This garage operates exceptionally well. The owners demonstrate exceptional service by promptly expediting repairs while maintaining effective communication. It is challenging to find such a high level of service in today’s market. I am thoroughly impressed and will highly recommend this skilled service center.

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. Last year I got a quote from GFA for an oil leak. I got a 2nd opinion from Tony’s: same job, $1,000 cheaper. I even called GFA back to see if they'd price-match. Armand (or Alain) said, “That’s cheap, go with them.” So I did. Today I call about a check engine light, and he goes, “Last year you went to Tony’s, so why don’t you go back to them?” They outright refused to give me any service because I went to a different shop a full year ago. GROW UP. It’s a free market. I’ll take my money wherever I want. Acting butthurt and blacklisting a customer who shopped around isn’t professional - it’s petty and arrogant. Skip the attitude - take your business anywhere else.

Incredible service!!! My Benz was having serious problems and I was seriously contemplating selling it because I thought it would be too pricey to repair, especially since other repair shops had no idea of what the problems were being caused by. I couldn’t even take the car to emissions because the engine light was on. Glastonbury Foreign Auto fixed all the problems at a very reasonable price and I kept my beautiful car. Thank you! A remarkably bespoke customer experience. After a challenging experience at both Audi and MB dealership (lots of technical turnover and very little knowledge), these folks know their cars - beyond belief! They have access to parts in Germany that the dealerships don't have the knowledge to install! With the same OEM parts, they save you money by diagnosing the right problem, the first time. They are very honest, friendly and have a "customer first" culture. I have been a customer for 20 plus years - without issue. After a horrible experience at New Country BMW in Hartford, I had to find a new place. I called and was greeted by an energetic person that sounded like I was calling a spa versus the anxiety of repairing a foreign car. I got an appointment within 4 days. Upon dropping the vehicle off, they called within 45 minutes with the diagnosis and confirmed the work. I was then able to pick up the vehicle the same day. While the labor wasn’t cheap, it was reasonable for the expertise. The hours charged were within time frames of repair found online. I highly recommend this location for all cars foreign. I’m so glad that I found Glastonbury Foreign Auto. The dealer gave me a ridiculous quote. Glastonbury Foreign Auto fixed my car at a reasonable price and let me know that there were somethings I could wait on which really helped me manage my repair costs. Super friendly and professional. My experience with this establishment has not been all that great. Seems like they cater more to Caucasian people then minorities. I bought my Mercedes C230 to get service, I had a problem with my wiper they claim that they replaced a motor but my problems still persist. Spoke to the owner he assured me that he changed the motor but wiper still does not work. I spent couple of $1000 at this establishment I would not bring my car there ever again. I was able to find a mechanic to solve all my problems with my vehicle. Again I really believe they Cater to Caucasian people .

Verbally accosted, berated, and insulted for over half an hour by the owner while at work for changing my review to 3 stars from 5 when I claimed a job was not done right. Note, my rating changed after I brought it to them to correct the oil leak, along with a few other issues we had been observing since they worked on our vehicle. The cost of the inspection was ZERO (VERY nice of them), but nothing was fixed. Also, we waited well over a year to bring it back to them, as we just did not have the time to keep bringing the vehicle back. Below is what the Mercedes dealer thought of their work and documented on our invoice: "Timing chain was recently replaced, but it is leaking large amounts of oil on the splash shield. Globs of RTV can be seen on the housing of the water pump. Different length bolts and self-tapping screws are used for this repair, damage may be found elsewhere on the timing case due to incorrect installation. Also note, the lower oil pan looks to have been recently resealed. Some bolts are missing and other have been replaced from Torx bolts to allen bolts" We had a great relationship, and we trusted them with our vehicle. The phone call I received was the worst customer service experience I've probably ever had. Prior to the call I intended to return, but it ultimately ended our relationship. To read this from the dealer on top of it all was really disappointing to say the least.

Glastonbury Foreign Automobiles inc. is amazing! I was told by an Audi dealership that my car needed a $2300 repair. They told me I wouldn't notice anything but oil was leaking inside under the engine. For a second opinion I brought it to Glastonbury Foreign Auto, they kept my car overnight and tested it twice, they said absolutely I don't have any leak. They could not have been nicer and didn't even charge me to look at the issue. Every time I go there, I know I can trust them and their price is always fair.

Stopped in to look into a check engine light in my Land Rover. Very cordial and attentive staff. Immediately attended to and received good news and sound advice. This is my new shop for maintenance and service!

The experience was ok but are biggest problem was that the person checking are car told us it would be 400$ plus some tax but when the job was done the person told us that would be 1200$ instead of the initial price we were told over all the job was well done but the experience could have been better.

I give them 5 stars and I just got through buying a second car from them. Excellent service and honest.

Don't make the mistake of taking your car anywhere else. The quality of their service, value, integrity and expertise far exceed anything you'll find at a dealership ... or anywhere else.

I’ve been a customer of GFA for more than 20 years after having several unpleasant experiences with dealer service departments. They have always been completely honest and actually declined my recent request for a complete brake job stating “it was not needed yet so we’re not doing it”. I’d strongly suggest stopping by to get a second opinion if you are about to have your repairs done elsewhere. A little known secret is that you can purchase a 2-3 year old used vehicle (in just about any brand) from GFA in excellent condition with very low mileage. If you tell them what you want, they will usually be able to find it. My family members have purchased a total of 7 used cars and SUV’s to date, often saving as much as 50% when compared to what they sold for when new. Several friends and neighbors are also loyal customers and I continue to receive positive feedback every time I refer someone new to GFA.

Been a client for years. Always treated great even I didnt understand the car they took the time to explain what it was that needed fixing.

They charge more than audi how is that even possible. I would expect them to price match or be even lower to save you money. Is’nt that what small shops supposed to be? Can anyone agree? Work was done right and extra mile but really confused me with the prices cause audi was cheaper.

Armand and his brother are great. Great cars, good prices, helpful and you can trust them with your business. Bought an impeccable Audi and Armand is looking for another car for my wife who has 190,000 miles on her current car. Very happy with GFA.
