Prices are fair, but sometimes selections are limited and therefore you have to order your parts, and wait for them to come into the store. Returns aren't usually a problem if unused and in original box/ packaging. Counter staff are not all equally knowledgeable, so select someone with experience when ordering your parts.
F rated customer service. I bought H13 headlight bulbs that they recommend for my jeep. Turns out they are very yellow compared to my stock ones. They will not return them because the package was open. The manager told me it is the company policy and I would have to deal will corporate if I wanted a refund. Ridiculous!! I will never buy anything from them again. I knew I should have went to Autozone. 65.00 dollars wasted. I will never shop here again. I hope to have a better experience with the corporate office.

Just had a fantastic experience with John, Bruce and Robert, and here’s why:
I had purchased a rain, X back windshield wiper from Amazon, but it didn’t fit. Not only did they find me the correct wiper, which I know isn’t that big of a deal, but it was stressing me out, but they put it on without me even asking, and then explained why I should go with the other brand of windshield wipers.
This may be a chain, but the customer service here makes this place well worth coming back for.
Great place to buy parts. Customer service is top level. Billy, Bruce, Shawn Chrissy all of them are great at their jobs and would try to leave you with a great experience.

Most annoying employees on earth. Every time I enter this store I regret going in. Employees cursing over the counter, bragging about being a manager, taking calls from friends in the middle of me trying to check out. On top of that you all have zero automotive knowledge, recommending other coolants because they’re cheaper, but the wrong item for my vehicle. Just ring me out at the counter and don’t speak. Please.
Recently we were on the search for some parts for our vehicle. We called a few local auto stores (well known) and then Advances Auto. Sean, a Manager at the Brookfield location took the call and was extremely helpful. He ordered the parts and had them available as promised. Sure, you're probably thinking, he did his job, big deal. Well unfortunately these days it's hard to find good customer service, people who actually care about their job, are knowledgeable and friendly all in one. So thanks Sean for a pleasant and helpful experience!

I like Advance Auto Parts as a competitor to AutoZone down the street. I recently needed a spring compression kit. AutoZone didn't have it but Advance Auto Parts did! Also regarding their tool rental, Advance Auto Parts gives you 3 months to return the tool which is great for me when life picks up and I don't have the time to get it back to them for a month. In terms of selection, they have all the usual maintenance things. They can look up parts for you and if it's at another location, they'll have it shipped to the store for free and sometimes it's even on the same day. They're a valuable store to have just a short drive from home for every car project I get myself into.
These are real CAR GUYS! Have never gone in the store without getting prompt, accurate assistance. Each employee goes out of their way to make sure that customers feel welcome and that their business is appreciated.
Cleaner than the nearby Autozone and the staff is extremely helpful. I had a terrible exhaust problem and Lenny made sure I got the parts that I needed.
