Came in from way out of town and my exhaust had a crack in it and was going to work its way off, was hoping for a quick and cheap fix from these guys but they charged me 200$ and laid 2 tacs on the exhaust, well off on the way home.

Adam and the crew got me and my 2019 Ram Promaster back on the road in a Jiffy. Parts and labour were under a worry free warranty (Napa peace of mind). Thanks for saving me guys!

This group was extremely helpful and professional. Their customer service is top tier. My rental had to be towed to an airport in another town. They gave me a ride with the tow person to the rental car place and came back and gave my friends a ride to a safe location. Would absolutely recommend!

Coolest dudes ever. My car got stuck on my way through Silverthorne and one of the guys ran up to help without me ever calling or asking. He just happened to be passing by and got me sorted like a Good Samaritan. If I’m ever in trouble in this part of the Rockies again, I’m calling JH

I picked up a young couple on the side of the road who had a flat tire, and were unable to get a tow. I brought them to JH Mountain auto. The 3 men there (JD, Justin, and Adam, I believe were their names) were extremely accommodating. Very friendly and quick. They found a new tire for the couple and sent us all on our way. Great service. Highly recommended.

You were manic after Thanksgiving but squeezed us in and made our experience with you as friendly and enjoyable as it could be under the circumstances. After the air compressor at a gas station was unable to provide the 50 PSI I needed, I stopped in here at JH. They cheerfully and quickly helped me out. Great outfit you’re running !

These guys are great! Incredible service, fair prices, and a willingness to listen and respond to customer needs, really make them stand out. While on my way home for the holidays, I had a puncture on the highway outside Frisco. I obviously needed immediate repair but was told by four repair shops in the area that they were too busy and it would be at least 2 weeks before they could get to it. JH seemed just as busy, but nonetheless were sympathetic to my situation and adjusted their schedule in order to fix my tire on the spot. They saved my holiday -- thank you!! I highly recommend this business!

I "booked" an appointment with these guys. But when I did the guy behind the counter acted like he had a million other things to do besides book my vehicle for the next week. Only asked my car details and not my name or anything and he didn't put any of the info I gave into a computer. I left there feeling uneasy about bringing my vehicle back so I just never showed up, screw em.. You want friendly service? Go see Tristan in Breck at On The Go Auto.

Brakes went out on the mountain and we were traveling from Denver. This placed saved us and got our brakes fully replaced within 2 hours. Thank you so much Adam and team

I was in a bind having some car issues while traveling. This shop got me in and did the work very quickly which was the one positive. I do not usually leave negative reviews but this shop wayyy overcharged for replacing spark plugs on my vehicle - I contacted my usual shop as well as the Subaru dealership for a quote to have the same work done and their quotes were half the price. I would have never agreed to the price if I did not need my vehicle fixed immediately. Additionally, their work only temporarily fixed the issue and it appears the diagnostics were likely not thorough. I will not be returning to this shop in the future.

Our car overheated on the climb past Vail. Adam was super helpful. Their tow guy was quick to get our car from where it was towed to originally and we had our fix just in time for us to get back on the road when we needed to. Adam was professional, helpful and informative and kind. He fixed our leaking radiator hose and showed me the part and where it was leaking because I was curious. Everything went smooth and pricing was fair. We drove it home 5.5 hours with no issue. So far so good! I’ll update if anything changes but so far it was a great shop to work with for an emergency need. Thanks guys!

What was a kinda scary day headed to Denver from Steamboat and finding out we ahead tire pressure issue, we made it to Silverthrone and landed at JH. We weee take. Care of swiftly and most importantly with kind care. We had some sort of sharp thin metal making for a slow leak. They repaired and gave us the low down on what condition my daughter’s tires are in (on her new to her car) and what to do once we get back to Denver. Dealership said tires are good For two to three more years. Nope. 😔 ASAP would be best. Find yourself going to qualified kind professionals and always return and become a loyal customer. There were other choices. We left one of them right away to go to JH. So happy we did.

Traveling from out of town and got a flat tire. We were able to come in first thing on a Saturday morning and JH was able to do a flat repair within the hour. Excellent customer service and experience all around!

After blowing a tire on Vail Pass at 5 am, JH mountain was able to send a tow truck within an hour (for a Volvo, no spare!). Amilcar was a great driver, very competent and friendly!!

I got new tires at Ford but one was losing air. When I went back to Ford, they said they would not be able to address the problem until the next day. I went to JH Mountain Auto Services and he had the leak fixed in under 30 minutes for under $50. Very fast service and very reasonable pricing.

On September I visited this place to clean the Coolant reserve. The team was very friendly and willing to help at the beginning however they did not make sure to plug correctly the hose that connects the radiator so I had a very bad experience overheating my car. They did not want to be responsible. I encourage JH to ensure that the job is well done from the 1st time.

The starter went out on my Jeep while up skiing. JH was able to get me in and back on the road before close of business. Adam at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this shop!

This place crushes it! When Adam picked up the phone, I immediately knew they were top gun material. Quick service, fantastic pricing and some of the nicest people in summit county. If you don’t fix your everyday car needs here, then continue not being the best you can be.

These guys are fantastic. I got a huge nail in one of my tires on the forest roads north of town the day before elk season opened. I popped into JH Mountain Auto unannounced late on a Friday afternoon. Adam and the team had my tire patched and ready to go in less than half an hour for a very reasonable price. I’d take my vehicle to JH Mountain Auto for any and all needs - great service, great prices, and they’re fast. Can’t recommend them enough!

This place knows what great customer service is. Got a flat tire on the highway from Denver to Montrose. I installed the spare tire and drove to their garage. They started to work on it right away, didn’t have to get a new tire, just had to fix the tire. Half a hour later, I was good to hit the road again. I wanted to put 10 stars on 5 but Google doesn’t let me do it. A+++ for these guys! I recommend to everyone!

They are just amazing at their ability to accommodate an emergency tire problem at last minute. Prior to calling them, I was rejected at four other shops in the area who claimed that they were booked a week into the future. JH did the job quickly, their billing system is extremely efficient, and then four weeks later when I wanted a copy of my bill for reimbursement purposes, they were able to provide it with quick five minute phone call. They are remarkably organized, efficient, and very accommodating. They are clearly the best tire shop I have ever visited. There is nothing better in Colorado!

Place has terrible communication and customer service. The engine on my car had blown and I brought it to this shop on July 3rd. I have a warranty that covers this. While I understand warranty companies aren’t the “easiest” to work with, this shop has delayed the process greatly. There would be no communicating with myself or the warranty company for multiple weeks at a time on several separate occasions. When I reached out about this, they would blame the warranty company for lack of communication. I could get ahold of the company myself each time I called. On August 29th, I went into the shop & called the warranty company myself & handed them the phone. Approval to go ahead with repairs was received shortly after this. Again, I was not receiving any communication or updates from the shop. When I would reach out for an update, they told me countless things that will be done that wouldn’t end up happening (ex: telling me they’ll be getting my car in the shop within the next 15 min & still not having it in the shop when I called days later). Then, on Oct 3rd, after having my car for 3 months, they notify me that my clutch needs to be replaced. When I reached out for updates, I was told my car would finally be done on Oct 10th, then Oct 17th, then by Oct 20th if they got the coolant line in that day. They did get it, but still no update. I went into the shop before they closed & was told that they needed to test drive my car before it was ready. I waited in the shop for 30 min while they did that & when they returned was told that they never called the warranty company to receive payment, so they couldn’t release my car. At this point I was obviously very unimpressed. I was told that they never promised me anything. The only mistake that has been owned up to is not reaching out to the warrant company to receive payment while they’re open. I did finally get to take my car home on October 23rd. See picture for the condition I picked it up in. The belly pan was also not reinstalled & instead shoved into my trunk. This is just the gist of it… super unprofessional and untrustworthy.

With our camper loaded to the gills we noticed the dreaded “check engine” light while we were climbing up the pass. We pulled into JH Mountian Auto & within a short amount of time the issue was diagnosed! Even thought the repair took a while they kept us abreast of the progress of the technician! HELPFUL~FRIENDLY & FAIR PRICE PS: beautiful shop dog too!!

Weekend salvation! We shredded a tire in the tunnel and had AAA give us a tow to Silverthorne. This was the only shop I could find that was open on Saturday. They were slammed but the two guys working that day made quick work of helping us confirm the tire could not be patched and that we had to use the spare. We were in and out in under 45 mins.
