If I could give this place negative stars... Without any hesitation I would!!
I had to ride a bicycle with a trailer completely over filled with recycling attached, just under 4miles, in 80°weather, just to be rudely turned away.
I arrived at 4:53pm with there being ONE unorganized older man sorting out his recycling. The worker tells me he is the last one and he won't let me turn in what I hauled across town. I beg him to please let me and assured him that my recyclables are already sorted and ready , that it would be done well before that guy was done sorting. He tells me "no, he is in front on you, he came first. When he is done it'll be after 5 so come back tomorrow. " I kept begging him to allow me to turn it in. He just continued to say no with a huge smile across his face.
I will definitely not be coming back to this recycling center ever again. And I will let everyone know that this location does not deserve anyone's business.
I would not recommend this recycling location to anyone. They should have been opened at 9am. The worker showed up at 9:13am late. He was very slow to set up everything. It is 9:37am and barely helping the first customers.
.. Update on this review they got rid of the guy that was there before now they have a really nice guy that does his job
and very well mannered so now I really like going here.
Update: since 3 months ago, they've hired a new employee. This young man is respectful and professional, so I'm submitting a new review. Y'all should've fired that other guy a loooong time ago ! Now your rating can finally go up.

Don’t waste your time. The man working here is super lazy, rude and apparently makes his own hours. Showed up at 4:15 and refused to help me 4 other customers because apparently 4:15 is the new 5 o’clock.
Don’t go at 4:30 he’ll have a lady tell you he only has 30 minutes to clean up and they don’t pay him over time, asking us to leave. If you ask me not my problem , it’s your job and you knew that already .
The recycling center is located at the back of the shopping center, which is easy to miss. I don't recommend recycling here unless it's most convenient to you. The guy will process your product quickly, but don't expect good customer service.
Never opened when the hours say they are opened! Super annoying. I always see tons of homeless people and bums here. Only come here out of convenience. Just came at 1pm on a Monday and it's closed! Change the hours on the sign or be there when you are supposed to be!
Best time to go is after 2:00p.m. on a Thursday... The guy who works there is not a talker... But, I can see why he feels so glum... Lots of the people he has to deal with are all the area bums and derelicts... They need to raise the CRV to get more worthy people to see that recycling is a worthwhile enterprise... Also, with the minimum wage increasing spending your time gathering cans and bottles is useless money wise... It was 5 cents a can 20 years ago when the minimum wage was $7.50... they need to double that now to be worth anyone's time.
Employee here was neither friendly nor helpful. I unloaded the truck full of cans while the employee sat and watched and then proceeded to tell me that they were closed for the next 30 minutes. That would’ve been helpful to know from a sign or a quick holler before I unloaded my truck. Oh well.
There’s sometimes kind of busy and especially on the weekends if therefore they won’t take class sometimes even close early otherwise I have no complaints about this business and I have been satisfied from my previous experiences I recommend this place
