ITt was 4:30 on a Friday, and this gal needed a smog check. I call, thinking there's no way he can squeeze me in today. Especially considering every other smog I've gotten in Yreka, I had to schedule in advance. To my surprise, he said, "Come on in." We were in and out in no time, and it was $15 cheaper the other places in town. I just love finding these gems, even if I did miss out on years of smogging there. All future automotive business goes to this place, hands down. Great customer service.
Took our truck for estimate and was charged over $100. WIthout being informed there was ANY charge for seeing what was wrong. He then gave an estimate for $680. to complete repairs and comeback at end of August to do so. That means he's charging again for the "2 hours" to open dash plus parts PLUS more labor! He laughed in my face when I complained. I said I would call Bureau of Automotive Repairs and BBB (which in past has been fruitless, but at least it'll be on record) and I will! Aren't they supposed to tell you up front about a charge?
They don't always seem super friendly over the phone, but are professional nonetheless. Friendly and nice staff when you visit their business for services, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend.

My check engine light suddenly came on, so I slowly made my way to Dunn -- Kevin was outstanding. We swung in without an appointment, and he was super nice -- he told us he had an appointment showing up any moment, so he had to be available for them, which I definitely respected since I would hope for the same treatment if I had a scheduled appointment. As soon as he had a spare moment, he came out and pulled the codes from our car's computer and informed us of what they meant. We were headed on to southern cali and had to get there by that night, and he told us not to worry, it wasn't a vital problem (was an oxygen sensor heater), and we should be fine for the trip. He was so super nice to talk with, and super helpful. He did not try to gouge us for any unneeded or time consuming or expensive fix or anything. He totally earned my trust! Thank you!
Friday coming down from oregon.i was pulling my trailer and blew a water hose...AAA towed me to Dunn automotive in yreka...he had a full afternoon of schedule appointments and apologized he couldn't get to it till monday..I was fine with that...left my trailer and my son pulled his trailer to redding... and then we went back for mine...when we got there he was pulling my car out of the shop..after hours and done...couldn't thank him enough...thank you again...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
