Extremely rude older ladies at the front desk literally kept getting followed throughout the store mind u I also heard one of them say to the other that most likely we don't even have the money to afford the stuff we were literally having them hold for us at the front desk so they didn't think we were trying to steal since we were being followed throughout the whole store at the end of all there disrespectfulness we decided not to buy anything from them horrible customer service never will I be returning or recommend this place

Antiques galore! Vintage finds! I stop here before going into Morro Bay. Love this place♥️

The store is clean lots of items to look at. Only about 25% are true antiques. Everything else used items and clothing. Kind of flea market and upper goodwill items

I went this past weekend. They have tons or turquoise jewelry but don’t take the time to let you actually look at it and try it on. I wanted to buy a bracelet and ring but I have a tiny wrist so I wanted to try on items. They acted like they couldn’t be bothered with me and told me they didn’t have time to stand at the case of jewelry while I tried on items. So I went to another spot in Paso and spent my money there. Rude ladies working on 8/23/25 around 2-3pm.

I used to really enjoy This antique mall, but I can no longer fathom why the owner is SO INCREDIBLY RUDE (I’m assuming she’s the owner, because who would continue to employ someone so incredibly toxic and abrasive) Anyway, today is the last day I even consider giving money to someone so miserable/horrible… Maybe she should be behind the scenes because she is pushing people away. I feel sorry for the other woman that have to work with her… What a nightmare.

RUDE OWNER! the emporium is nice with a big variety but honestly not worth it. There are 2 women that work there, one is nice and the other (who sounds like possibly from Boston or east coast area) is INCREDIBLY RUDE and speaks to you like you're a child. I've seen her be rude to her coworker aswell. Many of the items are seriously over priced. This is the second and last time I visit because of items I find that are priced in the 100s that I can find on ebay for 20$ . There are many other wonderful antique shops in the area with nice owners, better/unique items for better prices that are also willing to bargain.

Large place with lots of great items. We found more than a few things that we wanted and a few we took home.

Stop here almost every time we're in the area. Neat and clean selection of all kinds of stuff.

I finally visited this shop and I am glad I did. After spending nearly an hour looking through every booth, I went upstairs where I discovered two beautiful lamps. They were $125 each, and the friendly lady at the counter agreed to give me a deal of $200 for the two. Stop here in this shop for high-quality, unique pieces.

Amazing store inside and out with many options. The owner, Francine, is also very knowledgeable, honest, and up front. Will definitely be returning.

Definitely not a kid friendly business. Walked in with my well behaved and respectful child (who had already been in several antique shops that day), and the woman that “greeted” us basically chased us out the door and made it very obvious we weren’t welcome. Too bad, I had planned on spending money.

wonderful store. owner is beautiful inside an out. a tall drink of new york wine is what it’s like to talk to this woman. staff is knowledgeable about the product and very helpful

beautiful store. the cleanest antiques I’ve ever seen. the owner, Francine, is not only hospitable and accommodating, but honest and true when it comes to pricing. We will be returning very soon.

One of the best laid out stores we've been to. It's clean, not cluttered, everything is spaced well so you can see it all. They play great music and the owner is a joy to talk with.

One of my favorite antique stores in the Morro Bay and Cayucos area. A must stop each time I'm in town. Many different vendors who should meet any of your collecting favorites and maybe a new one or two. Make sure to look in the back patio/yard for your outdoor needs.

We keep trying to give this antique mall another chance. In the 4 times that we’ve visited we have witnessed the owner being rude and abrupt to her dealers and her customers. The closing time is ambiguous and appears to get earlier with each visit. We are made to feel unwelcome and rushed. I am a partner in an antique mall with a similar business model. We and our sweet dealers would never dream of being so rude to our precious customers. On the many evenings when we still have people in the shop at or past closing we will gently tell them that we are closing but they are welcome to finish a quick cruise through the rest of the shop. Please consider a more polite method of letting your customers know that they have limited time left to spend money in your antique shop.

Love this place. Not only indoor decor, step outside to find plenty of rustic planters, benchs, and small patio cafe furniture. Needs TLC if you don't like the rustic look. I found prices reasonable for such items considering what they cost brand new.

It is hard to critique an Antique Store because they don't particularly serve a customer, so it is particularly difficult for me to do so. Now this doesn't mean that this Antique Store is bad, on the contrary they are one of thee best I have ever had the privilege of beings in. They don't look big on the outside, but when you walk in and see the space it is breathtaking. You can spend hours walking and looking at everything and still come back later and see more. They have an amazing selection of general Antiques, tools, cookware, furniture, china, toys, you name it.

I recently took a motorcycle trip up the coast and stopped in at Highway 41 Antiques. Francine and staff were exceptionally pleasant. Not only did we find a few good bargains, but I felt I made some new friends and it was one of the highlights of the weekend. I can't wait to return with my wife and a larger vehicle to carry away some great stuff! Thank you, Francine!

Staff was so helpful, they pointed me in the right direction to find exactly the large apothecary glass jar I was looking for but it didn’t have the lid I wanted so they showed me were to find glass lids and helped me find (lid by lid) the precise lid to fit! This store has so much stuff basically anything you’re looking for in easy to find sections, good prices, and helpful staff. A must visit.

I want to add to my wife’a review. As a guy I have experienced visits to Highway 41 Antique Emporium and find all kinds of fantastic buys. The owner and staff leave me to wonder unless I need help. The have always been kind and sweet. I NEVER read or leave feedback, but was so disturbed by some of the reviews that I felt compelled to write something. Thanks for all the sweet and kind assistance.

It was a nice place to visit and check out. Alot of older items and antiques. Nice staff. I would have bought some stuff but the prices were a bit much. I saw a jar of marbles that had rocks in it that was being charged at $12. A bit much for my blood. Would definitely check it out again. But not sure if I would buy anything.

The clerks are jerks. We left the store in disgust after the owner/ clerk with the loud east coast accent suggested to the other clerks that we didn’t have enough money to buy anything there anyway. They were upset we were in the store at all, telling us they closed in 15 minutes (a lie, since they actually closed in 30 minutes). They were locking the doors behind us. I can’t believe how rude they were and I’ve never been treated like that. And I worked retail for 20 years. I would have fired any employee acting like that. We weren’t being messy or loud. I just wanted to look for antique movie posters. And for the record- JERK LADY- I have much more money than you have courtesy or class.

It's like the Disneyland of antique shops! Prices very from low to high, although there are many unique pieces. Backyard area, upstairs rooms, a little bit of everything! Also, there is free wine tasting apparently, in the afternoon.

Been here each yr. for past 6+ yrs. Owner, Francine was very nice, willing to help in any way. Other employees were also very nice & knowledgeable. Bot a Kingman ring, and she reduced price a bit to help me buy it ?. Jewelry, stone necklaces, all types of collectibles, furniture, small wine tasting in back, old signs, etc. Definitely worth going to. Best in Morro Bay area.
