I can't say enough about the extra effort by Jay and Oscar from Chuck's Towing in Morro Bay! In the pouring down rain they were prompt and extremely courteous on our call to AAA. We needed air on our 5th wheel trailer at the State Park Campground in order to make it safely home. The tires required a higher psi than most so between Jay and Oscar we were on our way.

Chucks towing told our truck after it rolled. We had 3 default drills 2 chargers and a Amp we went to the tow yard to see the condition of the truck my son was driving it and looked inside and noticed the tools and amp were not there and thought we will look better when we come back but I did mention to a tow truck driver that's was there that they were not there and he started yelling at me no one took anything right then so I came back a few days later to get the stuff and look better for the tools and amp they were not there and again mention it to the manager or someone who worked there he said don't know what we are talking about and no one too it I went to the police to file a report and the had pictures of those items in the truck before it was towed and now they are telling the police there're cameras don't work and lied that we took items from the truck last week. Such a coincidence the cameras don't work it's a tow yard what kind of tow yard doesn't have cameras. They are thief's and liars.Beware if you ever have anything towed there if you have anything of value in your vehicle.
The guys that work there are so great! My new car and I got stranded (warning light not to drive) at a pullout on Hwy 1 between Harmony and Cayucos. Troubleshooting with Mazda didn't work because they needed exact GPS coordinates. Unfortunately, I was in an area ringed by mountains and ocean with no other landmarks. Chuck's Towing helped me out, knew approximately where I was, and rescued me from pouring rain and fast approaching darkness. Not only did the driver get my car warning light off, he followed me to my Cayucos exit. I'm really grateful to know they can be trusted to help when/if you need help.

Thought I had a problem with my battery or alternator on my 2021 Tahoe. Chucks towing came out to possibly tow it to the Chevrolet dealership. Battery and alternator were fine but he wasn’t sure what the problem was. He did some troubleshooting online and found someone that had same problem as me. I had cleaned my floor mats and did not realize that the drivers mat was pressing on the gas pedal.
Thankfully, no trip to the dealership and service from Chucks towing was great!
Highway robbery impounded a scooter 350.00 to tow. Not even 24 hours later want 600.00 to get out Disgusting dishonest people. Really must have some deal going on with local officer.
I had a rough 2023 and my girlfriend and I needed the assistance of AAA probably a dozen times, each time it was Chucks Towing. Dead batteries, unlocks, flats, tows everything. Every time, every operator was not only kind, courteous, and professional but very good at their job. My finale for the year was a 30 day impound at Chucks. I don’t wanna go into detail, but the owner Chris has been beyond generous and accommodating as I navigate through this hard time in my life. I’ve been dealing with tow companies for nearly 30 years in 4 different states and can’t remember a good experience. Chucks entire company operates with integrity and skill, and they have reminded me that there are still decent people out there.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Joe. To put it simply my encounter with Joe was nothing short of a nightmare. From his lack of professionalism to his utter incompetence Joe left a lasting negative impression.
First and foremost Joe's tardiness and lack of punctuality were truly disappointing. I had called for a tow truck to assist me with a flat tire emergency and was informed that Joe would arrive within 30 minutes. However I ended up waiting for over 3 hours only to receive a curt apology upon his arrival. His blatant disregard for my time was unacceptable leaving me frustrated and stranded for far longer than necessary.
Furthermore Joe's complete lack of knowledge and expertise was evident throughout the entire process. From the moment he arrived Joe seemed clueless about how to properly handle the situation. His incompetence was painfully apparent as he struggled to hook up my vehicle correctly resulting in further delays and unnecessary damage to my car. It was clear that he lacked the necessary skills and training to perform his job efficiently.
In addition to his lack of professionalism Joe exhibited a dismissive and unhelpful attitude. Instead of offering any sort of empathy or reassurance during a stressful situation he was constantly impatient and seemed disinterested in providing the assistance I needed. His lack of customer service skills was astonishing as he failed to offer any explanations or answers to the questions I had about the towing process.
To make matters worse the interaction with Joe was marred by his unprofessional behavior. Throughout the ordeal he made derogatory remarks and used offensive language. It was truly disheartening to be treated so disrespectfully adding insult to injury during an already stressful situation.
As a result of Joe's unprofessionalism and incompetence I would strongly advise against using Chuck's Towing Company in Morro Bay. The experience I had with Joe left me feeling frustrated mistreated and highly dissatisfied. It is important to choose a towing company that values their customers and provides reliable and competent service which was certainly not the case with Joe and Chuck's Towing Company.
I wanted to give a shout out to Joe with Chuck’s Towing. He helped tow my car from MB to Osos while also training. Very helpful; polite and excellent customer service. Very much appreciate the rescue today 🤙🏽
HEROES!!! These folks were amazing from start to finish in an otherwise stressful situation. Highly recommend!! Corey came out (sent by Triple A) to pull a camper van out of a sandy spot at 10pm and he was so pleasant, kind, and courteous - It felt more like running into a friendly neighbor than a tow company. He was efficient, quickly extracted the vehicle, and made sure I was totally squared away before leaving. Thank you so much, Corey!!!
Straight Up Honest Pricing, Very Responsive, polite, and always understanding of the situation and will never take advantage of someone's ignorance, unlike someone tried to do to me in LosOsos when they were based in LosOsos.
Had an BMW I3 battery go out with the alarm going off uncontrollably and was unable to get the car back up even when charged. They came out and solved it and saved me a great deal of money not having to be towed or taken to the BMW dealer.
AAA breakdown service arrived within 10 minutes and the guy was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I was on my way within 20 minutes of calling. Thank you!
Whichever guys were disbatched to the ding dong who lost her Volvo keys on the Morro Bay Dog beach (me) were fantastic. Hopefully, I will never need your services again, but if I do I will be calling Chuck’s. Wonderful customer service. Had a lockout on a older ford. Ended up being difficult and the driver still had a great attitude and handled his job professionally. It was a 93 f150.
GREAT HELP! We were stuck because of a puncture near morrow bay and were trying to get to LA. We contacted many other towing companies because we were visitors and renting a car but all of them were taking around 45 min - 1 hour to get here but Joe came really fast to help out and fixed it really quickly! Joe definitely knew what he was doing, 100% recommend!
I had a flat tire and Jesse came out quickly, patched it up and followed me to the tire shop. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience in an otherwise unpleasant situation. He was friendly and professional! Thank you so much for your help today. I highly recommend their services!
