I recommend not buying a Kia EV-6 and moreover, don't get your Kia EV-6 serviced from here. The service staff, starting from the Service Manager have very little understanding of how to deal with software issues and upgrades to the Kia EV-6 leading to a myriad of issues, including charging, car losing all power, navigation, etc. I have taken my car in for several warranty claims, especially most recently due to ICCU failure. Each time a software upgrade was included. However, my vehicle screen continues to indicate software update required. I contacted Kia Customer Service and apparently their software upgrade system is paused and told me to contact the dealership. Apparently, OTA might be an option for my vehicle, but my software is too old from 2023. I needed a newer software version which Kia Customer Service indicated that I should have received from the dealership. I spoke to the Service Manager and explained my situation. He had no idea how to help me and said that he didn't know how to get the latest software if Kia had implemented a pause on the upgrade. I asked to speak to a Kia EV tech that was knowledgeable about the software to see if there was a possible resolution and the Service Manager indicated he is knowledgeable to assist. Then the Service Manager began looking up my vehicle history and said I only brought my Kia EV6 in for warranty work and if I can bring it in for a service such as tire rotation or cabin filter change, than maybe he can try to help me get the latest software, but it would take several hours to download and made it sound it was going to be difficult with no guarantees. This is terrible customer service. I was just there for the ICCU warranty repair, why didn't the service technician include the latest software. The software affects every user interface with the car from charging, battery use, cooling, heating, navigation, locking, unlocking, driving modes, lane assist cruise control, etc. The Service Manager completely did not understand the problem I was having with my vehicle and no resolution was offered. The Service Manager was only looking to see how I can pay him for a service visit. Don't waste your time and money buying a Kia EV6 and do not get your Kia EV6 serviced here. Most Kia EV6 owners paid a premium to have an electric car that is efficient, high tech, zero gas, and zero maintenance. Kia doesn't care since they have paused the software upgrade since April 2025 and this dealership's service department doesn't care to help Kia EV6 customers so their car is safe and reliable.

I came to Garden Grove Kia excited to look for a new car because of their positive online ratings, but my experience was incredibly predatory. Instead of transparent service, I was met with severe mansplaining and a refusal to negotiate. My out-the-door price was suddenly loaded with hidden fees, including a 'theft' system fee they refused to budge on. When I questioned the padded numbers, they tried to write them off as 'taxes.' I caught them in this lie when the second 'tax' amount magically changed twice while we were negotiating. The most insulting part was when the salesman asked about my college major and had the nerve to tell me the pricing would be 'hard to understand' because I am not an Economics major. It is painfully clear they saw a young, first-time female buyer and thought they could take advantage of me. Ladies, steer clear of this place. They will gaslight you, dismiss your research, and act like you don't know what you're talking about. Take your business elsewhere.

I came in to get my car serviced and Luis was very helpful and professional. Not only did he explain what I needed done, he checked it I had any open recalls for my vehicle and got that completed as well. I would definitely come here again to get my car serviced.

Horrible customer service. I took my vehicle to have window trimmings replaced due to warranty , my front headlight trim was supposed to get replaced and all the dealership did was clear coat it . my vehicle left with paint chipped in two separate places, window trimming not placed correctly and my headliner was left dirty by the technician who I’m assuming replaced the window pieces. Communication was not clear with expectations needed to drop off my vehicle. Several months later I reached out to Christopher who later mentioned he was the service manager, to set up an appointment for my vehicle to be dropped off. Not one response from Christopher for about a week or so. I finally got a response from Reuben and I requested to not have to work with Christopher again. Upon arriving to drop off my vehicle of course Christopher was the one to help me and not to mention I was given a vehicle smaller than my personal vehicle. Not as big of a deal as I had to return again later that day to be swapped out for a bigger vehicle. It took the week to fix the technicians errors as expected and on Saturday 2/14/26 I was sent a text my vehicle was ready. Upon picking up my vehicle I checked only the repairs as expected and everything checked out fine, Right after stopping at the gas station to fill up I noticed paint chipped on the front left side of bumper and a scuff on the front right . I hesitated calling the dealer but at this point I am so done dealing with them. If this is the expected service and handling of vehicles from a manager I will avoid bringing my vehicle at all costs. I will to my vehicle elsewhere.

I don’t like hanging out at the car dealerships. Especially as a female, I actually sat in my car for thirty minutes before talking myself into walking in. But when I walked in I was greeted by Najwa and she was so sweet and easy to work with. Answered all my questions, friendly and professional. I checked out other dealers and came back here mainly because of her. Highly recommended. Everyone here is nice and if I ever need another car I would happily come back.

Jeremy was great. GG KIA got the job done quickly. Another dealer told me 5 days, GG KIA did it in about 7 hours. Of course no one likes to spend lots of money on repairs, but I'm grateful to be on the road again.

Luis at Garden Grove Kia Service Center is awesome! I took my car in to have a tire sensor fixed and they also serviced a recall on Kia EV6. Luis made everything so easy and effortless. My car was ready same day within a few hours. Luis provided excellent customer service! Highly recommend Garden Grove Kia Service center for all of your car service! 10/10!

I have been to 2 other local Kia dealerships and have never been happy. Garden Grove Kia was easy to get into and the service employee Mitch was great to work with. We will definitely use G.G. Kia from now on!

In July of 2025, my wife and I purchased a new Kia Niro at Garden Grove Kia. So far we are pleased with the car. Along with the car, we also purchased the service plan. That’s another matter altogether, I had my first service appointment last week and was disappointed about a couple of things. Firstly, after dropping off the car, I mentioned having the car washed off when the service was done, I was dismissed casually, and was informed that part of the service plan was no longer available as of December, without being informed previously. Secondly, when I asked how long would it take before my car would be ready and told it would be somewhere between 1.5 to 2 hours, that’s reasonable. Since I wouldn’t be waiting for it, I would be getting a phone call letting me know when it was ready to be picked up. I had a very busy schedule that morning and so was not looking at the time, but after 4 hours of waiting for the phone call, I gave them a call and they said it had been ready after 2 hours and they tried calling but it must have been a wrong number I gave them. Once I got to the service department at the dealership I asked him to text the number I gave them while I was getting my car and the text came through instantly, again he shrugged his shoulders, and dismissed the fact no one contacted me or followed up but waited until I contacted them. Very poor customer service, as well as the dealership finance department whom I called and inquired about the change to their service plan policy and why I hadn’t received any update but was told rudely it was a courtesy that changed and felt they didn’t need to inform anyone. I mentioned with that attitude they would receive bad reviews and he said go ahead and post a poor review. So here you go, another poor review to add to all the other poor reviews this dealership seems to regularly receive.

I want to express my total satisfaction with the radical turnaround in my service experience at Kia of Garden Grove. After experiencing some initial issues, I was contacted by Andrea, an exceptionally kind and attentive representative. What I valued most was that Andrea took the time to identify, point by point, every single concern I had reported. She scheduled a follow-up appointment where I received impeccable assistance from her and the entire technical team. During this visit, they performed: A extremely thorough technical inspection. Tire rotation. A definitive fix for my key issue. A proper reset of the oil change warning. As a final touch, they returned my vehicle spotless and super clean. It is rewarding to find staff like Andrea, who truly cares about the customer and ensures we leave satisfied. 5-star service thanks to her management!

The service that was provided at Garden Grove Kia was professional and exceptionally reliable. The service team diagnosed my vehicle, found the problem, repaired it and had it back in my hands within a week. I was also provided with a rental vehicle at no cost for the days or mileage. If your having your issues with your Kia, I recommend having it serviced at this location.

I went in for my first service for my new car and they were extremely helpful and quick! Luis made sure to explain everything to me in a way I could actually understand what the service will contain, how long it will take (about 1.5 hours), and what the next steps are after the service.

I brought my car in for some repairs and for a 60,000 mile service. They communicated well with me and explained all the repairs that were needed, as well as the options for those repairs. They got the parts quickly and had my car back to me the next day. My only complaint was that I would have expected a complimentary car wash, as the cost for all repairs was over $2000! Maybe they stopped offering that car wash service but it feels like a nice touch when someone is spending so much money and choosing to come to the dealer, when there are many other auto shops that could perform the same work.

I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience at Kia of Garden Grove, and it’s all thanks to Hugo and Abraham. Abraham, our car salesman, was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. He helped us purchase a 2017 Toyota Corolla, and the entire process was smooth, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. Abraham was knowledgeable, patient, and never once made us feel pressured. I brought my K5 in for service and a minor body damage issue. I was able to make an appointment the night before, which is hard to do at other dealerships. My service rep, Web, was cordial and helpful, clearly explaining the work to be done and making me aware of some discounts I’d overlooked. The service technician prepared a detailed report afterwards, showing the details of what was done. In the end, I was finished in less time than expected, and for a price lower than I had planned to pay. I’m going to make this my service center of choice.

I had an exceptional experience at Garden Grove Kia, and I truly want to take a moment to recognize the incredible people who made it possible. First and foremost, my biggest and most heartfelt thank you goes to Nashwa Ayub Aldi. Her welcoming attitude, genuine empathy, and outstanding problem-solving skills were absolutely remarkable. She was incredibly warm, patient, and professional throughout the entire process. She stayed with me from 2:00 PM until 9:35 PM without a single sign of frustration—no sighs, no eye-rolling, no pressure, no passive remarks. Just kindness, understanding, and real support. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. My second biggest thank you goes to Mr. Hugo, who helped me as if I were buying a car for his own family member. His sincerity and dedication truly stood out. I also want to sincerely thank Mr. Poul, who not only kindly offered us green tea, but also took the time to explain every single document line by line before we signed. He made sure we fully understood what we were signing and why, even asking clarifying questions to confirm our understanding—just like a teacher would. In my previous review, I think Jeremy and Garden Grove Kyeh for a wonderful and fast service. An oil change in less than an hour. Amazing. This time around I was 10 minutes early to my 9:30 appointment for a diagnostic, and ended up leaving around 2:30, with a new $75 engine air filter. When I was checking in, the person said it takes 2 to 4 hours for a diagnostic, around 12:30 when I asked for an update, a different staff member said it takes 4 to 6 hours. Even with a 9:30 appointment, I did see my car being pulled in at 12:30 when I went to go ask the staff member for an update. I’m sure they really good at what they do. But if they’re this busy… I don’t know. I don’t have many days off. I’m not sure I can afford to spend all this time waiting.

I have gone here twice for my EV6. Both times I have had great service and feel welcomed by the staff. I went to a different Kia dealership that made it feel like a hassle for me to be there and was constantly upselling me. They even fixed my car over thanksgiving weekend. I’ll definitely be back.

I've been to the Kia center twice in the past 6 months, both with excellent service. Once for an engine replacement (completely covered) and the second for an issue as a response to the engine replacement, also fully covered. I bought my Telluride at Garden Grove Kia and they have serviced it from day one. Whenever I make a service appointment, I’m helped immediately. My service advisor. Mitch was excellent. He reviewed what needed to be done, no upsell no services that I didn’t need. They promised the car in about three hours. It was done in about half that time. Every time I’ve gone there they have been very reasonable and the car was always delivered earlier than expected. I will buy my next Kia from Garden Grove Kia.

Took my 2024 Kia Telluride into Garden Grove Kia for it's 15 K service. Was greeted by Grant, their service advisor who was very welcoming and promptly got all my info and told me what this service involved. Because I was waiting there while my car was being serviced, he said he would have the service dept work at getting it completed in 2 hrs. And he DID. I appreciated their effenciency, honesty, and even discounted my entire bill somewhat. I will definitely go back for my next service. I shopped at a handful of dealerships and not one compared to Kia of GG. They were kind, friendly, helpful and respectful! They did not play games; no haggling, no hidden fees and they were straight forward about pricing and financing options. I highly recommend going there if you’re in need of a new ride! I cannot say enough good things about their staff there. Sergio was our original salesperson and he came out to greet and assist us as we walked up. Najwa was super helpful and showed the vehicle, explained all of its functions and made sure we were happy with everything before sealing the deal. She was such a joy to work with. Cy in finance was also wonderful! Down to earth, explained things thoroughly and helped us seal the deal with terms and pricing that we were comfortable with. We also had the pleasure of talking with Hugo, one of the managers. It was a pleasure talking and working with him as well.

Brought in my brand-new Kia Carnival to Garden Grove Kia for its first service, along with a recall related to seat covers. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, especially for a new vehicle. Right after the service, I noticed that the infotainment LCD screen started flickering — something that was never an issue before. That’s frustrating considering this was just a brand new car . To make matters worse, the paperwork I received in person didn’t match the version that was emailed to me. The emailed version mentioned “body damage” and included a dashboard photo, even though there was no damage and I never signed that document. When I asked the service rep Mitch, he said he signed it and that there was no actual damage — which left me confused and concerned about how documentation is being handled and why he signed under customer signature. Also, no car wash was provided (I brought car in clean condition ), but there were greasy marks left on the seat and exterior of the vehicle. Not the kind of service I expected for a brand-new car. Attention to detail and clearer communication would go a long way here.

Although family have visited the new location on Harbor Blvd, this was my first experience. Upon my arrival I was greeted with a smile from a young person that informed me that someone would be with me soon. Jeremy was pleasant and patient with this old man throughout the process. The Sedona was there for overdue maintenance and it feels great to get it done. There was a pleasant surprise seeing a familiar face in Luiz in the new surroundings. The last time I saw him was possibly ten years ago! Thanks you Jeremy for the kindness and to the entire team for the smiles and hospitality!

My husband and I bought a Kia Ev9 and had the best experience. Josh from the start of the process to finish had provided the best professional customer service. He listened to our needs and was able to get our payment where we wanted it! He was able to get majority of the process done virtually (text/phone call) which was super helpful with the busy schedule my family has! We could not be more happier with our purchase and we love our vehicle so much!! We highly recommend Josh for your next purchase! When we got to finance he was also great. Very quick and matter of fact and very informative. Oh, I forgot to mention, Josh got us some cool gifts to go with our purchase and we were so surprised! 10/10 recommendation.
