1 star is too much. Have problem with washer dryer purchase. Drum is off center and makes banging noise at beginning of spin cycle. 1 of the springs appears to be bad, but he claims there is nothing wrong with the washer. He even suggested raising up 1 side of the washer to make the drum look level! $100.00 to replace the parts and have a satisfied customer!! Stay away from this guy!!!!!!

I'm so grateful to have found this spot after weeks of searching for a quality refurbished washer! Rob was very helpful, knowledgeable, and timely. I was able to drop in last minute, shop a nice assortment, and have it delivered/installed all within a few hours. I needed to stay within a particular budget but the extended warranty and their ability to repair puts me at ease that I'm still getting a quality machine. Rob was pleasant to work with and I look forward to working with him again for any other appliance needs (just hopefully not anytime soon, ha!).

Used this guy for a few years. Previously was thrilled with how their rentals and used washers and dryers for sale. Within the last year we’ve gone through 3 or 4 different dryers with Rob. I understand when buying used, you get what you pay for. Instead of Rob admitting that their dryers were being faulty within weeks of delivery Rob insisted that my outlets weren’t putting out enough power. After having electricians come out and test the outlets he still refused to admit it was any fault of theirs. Finally got a washer to work with him for about 8 months. Then it stopped heating again, out of frustration we bought a set brand new. Asked Rob to come pick up the old set. Which he did give us money back for and I’m grateful for that. However, when it came to pickup day, Rob lost my phone number and called my wife while she was at work and then proceeded to be extremely rude to her on the phone. When he showed up to the house the first words out of his mouth about their interaction was “your wife thought I was being rude”. Perception is reality, he apologized before he left but I would have appreciated an apology and probably would not have written this review if accountability of the interaction was taken before insinuating it was my wife who was in the wrong for being offended. In years past I would have recommended them to any young couple especially active duty. As of late, I no longer would recommend Rob to anyone. We’ve felt talked down to, and taken advantage of, specially with the brief warranty period. Please if you can, take your business elsewhere.

Great experience working with Rob and his team. I purchased a stacking washer/dryer from him. The washer/dryer closet at my new apartment was quite tight and Rob helped guide me to a unit that fit both the space and my budget. Pleasant to work with, and the machine was well worth the cost. I am a toddler parent and the machine handled a load per day over the past couple of years. Well worth the investment. I definitely recommend Appliance Recycler and would purchase from them again.

Washer and dryer were broken 6 months after purchase, and cost of 'diagnositcs' alone to fix their own machines is over 2x that of other repair places. Sadly cannot recommend

Amazingly easy! Called they were in my neighborhood and had room on the truck, took minutes to load and go. Highly recommend. I had called 4 companies with no follow through, so was thrilled with the quick response and price.

The washer/dryer unit I bought broke a couple days after the 90 day warrantee was up. Didn't offer to work around the date, just wanted to charge the normal price of $140 to come diagnose. Timing seems suspect and unwillingness to budge on a couple of days of the warranty makes it feel even more scammy. For context, the warranty was up March 3rd, the w/d broke on March 5th.

2.5 stars. I am very frustrated. The pros: -They were quick to take my money (approx $800) + get me my machine (refurbished apt size double washer/dryer), no hesitation in scheduling. -Delivered and installed quick with no problems. -Installer was kind and helpful. - Worked without issue for 4 months. I was so happy and pleased up to this point. The cons: -Warranty lasts 3 months, and on the 4th month (to the date) my washer stopped working. - Adamant about only being able to help for an additional $250 minunim (diagnostic, labor, then more for parts). - Spent the entire call explaining their new business plan and how it affects them helping me (staff leaving, not sure if they have staff who could help, and if they can they couldn't until January "maybe"). Very confusing and no absolute path to help me. - Then in the middle of my frustration and explanation told me to hold on "another customer is in the office sorry", I was placed on hold abruptly, so I hung up. Its been 2 weeks without washer capabilities. I refuse to spend MORE (upwards to $1000 total) money to fix a refurbished machine that I JUST purchased 4 months prior. I felt like a number, only worth the $800 and that's it. I am a single female without the help or the know how and am very frustrated and feel dooped into an over proced broken refurbished machine.

These folks are amazing! After spending a month trying to schedule a dryer deliver with a different appliance place, we finally cancelled that purchase. My wife stumbled on these guys and in two days we had a dryer delivered with a new cord put on when they realized it needed it. Polite! Professional! And, when we realized that we mismeasured the space, were willing to change the dryer out the day of the delivery. So, so, good!

When my refrigerator died today I was pretty hysterical. Rob was at the helm of helping me pick a new very decent nice fridge delivered by Juan and Juan lol such nice fellows very nice people. I found out that I didn’t need to replace my fridge at all rather it was just a broken plug in the wall I was desperate and very upset. But without explaining all the gory details I can say Rob really worked with me on fixing the situation and I just very much appreciate that he showed me empathy for my situation. I have purchased 2 appliances now from him and they work perfectly. Just want to say thank you to these guys I would never be able to purchase new appliances and their’s are just perfect. Thank you so much Rob and to Juan and Juan.

So my 2 stars in lieu of a 5 star rating is due to some very simple and inexpensive customer service. First off, the actual rental was fine. The fridge did what is was supposed to and did it’s job for our temporary need. The issue I had was this- I confirmed, prior to renting, that it had an ice maker. When it was delivered, it had a water connection “tube” for the ice maker connected to the unit. I attached it to my water feed, but the connection leaked. Upon closer look, the gasket inside the water tube was completely dried out and would not seal. So I traded texts with them and they basically told me to “go to Home Depot and buy one”. I told them that I would prefer they provide it, but for a $10 tube, and relatively easy to install, I would just deal with it-but I expected to be reimbursed for the tube. They told me to keep the tube at the end of the rental and would not reimburse me. Kind of a bush league move on their part. For $10 they would have earned my business anytime I need a rental or their service. Instead, they earned 2 stars and my ten commendation to the world to look elsewhere for your Vista rental needs. I would welcome a call from their ownership to explain themselves. They had ample opportunity to make good during my rental period. But they close to do nothing. It’s so hard and expensive to earn a customer. The $10 was not the issue. It was their total “it’s not our problem” attitude that turned me off. 12/27/2019 Interestingly enough, after a full 11 months, the owner replied to this today. Clearly this person did not read my review, or chose not to understand what I said. Anyway, I had long forgot about this incident until they replied with such a half hearted response. Im over it, but will not recommend this place.

I had an appliance to be tossed, so I called Rob yesterday and set up an appointment for a pickup today. It was all handled immediately, professionally and completed on time with absolutely no hassle. The pick up guy was very nice, friendly and strong! I didn't have to touch a thing. Will use them again whenever the need arises. Don't hesitate....

TL;DR: Buyer beware - don't expect post-purchase support or courteous service. The purchase experience was ok-ish. We purchased a washer from them and they arrived somewhat around the expected time, placed the washer where I wanted it, and hauled away the old one. The problem came when I experienced an error with the new washer. I sent several emails that went unanswered and finally had to call, after a bit of back and forth they sent a tech out to fix it, at no cost, turns out to have been a temperature sensor. The tech replaced the sensor and was on his way. We continued to have intermittent problems with the same error code, but were in the processes of purchasing a new house and decided to deal with that after moving. I called to explain the problem and was told that a tech would be out to look at it. I said we had moved and provided the new address. The tech arrived, took the washer apart, said "oh, the sensor is unplugged", plugged it in and handed me a bill for $89!!!! Mind you this was the sensor that he had installed last time he was out. I grant you that we were now outside the "90-day warranty" window, and yes we had moved the washer, but the problem had been happening for weeks. Given that it was the same thing he had fixed before, and that no mention was made on the phone about a possible charge, I was astonished to get a bill. I then got a bill in my email for $89. I responded and explained the problem. I got a re-send of the same bill for $89 the next day, without explanation. I replied again explaining my issue with the bill. I then got a bill for $39.95 followed by a very rude phone call where I was constantly interrupted and berated. On the phone call, I was told: "Pay whichever one you want, it's fine, we won't ever service you again anyway". Before I even got back to my desk, the $39.95 bill had been deleted and the $89.99 bill had been re-sent along with the message "REMOVED $39.95 INV- $89.95 IS DUE FOR SERVICE AFTER MOVE". We have paid $89.99, but you can be sure we will never contact E-Z RENTAL BIZ for anything in the future.

I have rented a washer and dryer from E-Z rental for about 2-3 years now. Always great customer service and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone in the San Diego area. It is an affordable way to have a washer/dryer that includes service!

Excellent customer service with Rob and the delivery/haul away man (don't recall his name, but looks to be in his 20's). We have had 2 washers and one dryer with E-Z. One washer stopped filling up with water, so I called to replace and received one that worked just as excellent (before the 1st one broke). There weren't any fees for haul away or replacement. The deliever/haul away man was very kind and quick. We lived in Oceanside and moved to San Clemente and E-Z was able to transfer our rented appliances within the same week. Overall their service is excellent and I highly reccomend. I have had no problems with staff and the only issue I had with the first washer was resolved very smoothly. Thank you for keeping my clothes clean for two years!

Just came down to them being unprofessional. They took my dryer that I owned after saying that they would have to confirm with me later that they could and never actually doing so. I called to get my dryer back because they never confirmed pick up in the first place and the manager proceeded to argue that the lady never told me that she would confirm later just because she eventually wrote something else on the order. He proceeded to tell me that I'd be willing to say whatever I could to get my dryer back because it wasn't written down that it would be reconfirmed. I get backing your employees but this was beyond overbooard.

I recently purchased a pair of Sub Zero's [all refrigerator and all freezer] that were advertised on Craigslist. I spoke to both Rob and Steven several times before I took delivery of them. I let them know during every phone call that I needed their warranty in writing, [the ad listed a 90 all parts and labor warranty] and that I needed for them to install the units in order for my home warranty to cover them. I took delivery this past Sunday and paid them the full price for the units, delivery for each and a fee of $125 to haul away my old units. They asked for my check once the units were installed and mine were on their delivery truck. When I asked for a receipt, the driver called the office and spoke to Carol, and let her know that I needed a written receipt. I also spoke to her and let her know the specifics I needed on the receipt: Price, delivery, installed and gave her my email address since that is how she indicated it would be sent. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO SEND A RECEIPT, ANY RECEIPT. I HAVE EMAILED AND TEXT THEM MULTIPLE TIMES AND THEY WILL NOT RESPOND OR SEND A RECEIPT THAT INDICATES THE SUM PAID OR THE ADVERTISED WARRANTY. THIS WILL RESULT IN MY HOME WARRANTY NOT COVERING THE UNITS. I HAVE JUST EMAILED THE STATE TO ASK HOW TO FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT AND MY NEXT STEP IS TO FILE SUIT AGAINST THEM IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT AT THE VERY LEAST. If you purchase or deal with this company, make sure you have your receipt and warranty IN HAND BEFORE YOU HAND OVER PAYMENT, OR LIKE ME YOU MAY NEVER GET IT. Fortunately, I printed the CL ad that fully details the warranty before they deleted the post, as it will be used in my court suit, so I suggest you do as well.

I have rented the W/D from E-Z Appliance Rental for two and a half year. The W/D worked nicely, with only one time of maintenance needed. The maintenance guy came in a couple days and he quickly fixed the problem. The other nice part is E-Z Appliance Rental never raised the rent price. Absolutely recommended for apartment use.

Don't know why people give this place a good rating. Very unprofessional staff. Our washer was leaking and we called and asked someone to come out and fix it. They called us and got our schedules to work around, text us the next day to confirm the time we planned on and it wasnt the time we planned on. They then start to say its our fault that they didn't get our schedule correctly. Someone eventually comes to fix the washer and they dump dirty water all over our floor and say its our fault that the washer is leaking. Would not recommend renting anything from this place.

Place sucks. Bought a fridge from them while back. It was filthy when we looked at it. We were promised it would be cleaned before delivery.. it was not. Lots of mold thru out and old stickers that never got removed. I called directly after delivery and I was told they were sorry that it was not cleaned correctly. And that it would be discounted. Then the ice maker quit workin shortly after and it took 6 months to get it fixed. But it wasn't fixed. Then another 2 weeks to get the wrong part ordered. To this day the ice maker does not work. I do not want them back at my house. Very crooked company. Super sorry I ever rented from them. I could have and should have bought a new fridge from any other company.

IF NO STARS WERE A THING!!!! E-Z rental delivered the washer and dryer on Sunday September 3, 2017. I go to use the washer and it smells like mold really bad. I emailed the email they use to email me previous and use there contact us on their page. I did this 3 times and no response. I finally got through when calling them and I told them the issue. They didn't offer to bring a new one. They said "our pick up Tuesday and Fridays. If we pick up you have to pay a $75 per appliance and pay back the free month we gave you." I haven't had the washer a week when I called i don't believe I should pay for anything when the washer is a health concern. I would not rent from them. I went out and bought a brand new one and it was nicer and way cheaper then what they were charging me.

Customer Service was very helpful. The process of renting to own was very simple. When I had questions about my account, the staff took the time to make sure all my questions were answered and accurate information was given. Their products are in good shape and look new. I would recommend them to anyone. If I need something they offer I would not hesitate using them again.

E-Z Appliance Rental far exceeded my expectations. We were in a pinch a few months ago when our washing machine bit the dust at the worst time imaginable. One call to Ron at E-Z Appliance Rental solved our problem. The customer service was exceptional in a day and time when that is not the norm, the washing machine was delivered within 48 hours by a very polite and courteous delivery driver, the machine was super clean and nice and worked great, and the price was perfect--actually less than I had anticipated. When we got ready to move last month I realized I had done everything but call to arrange a pick up of the washing machine and was worried because by that time I only had two days left before I was supposed to have everything out of the house. And once again E-Z Appliance Rental exceeded my expectations with excellent customer service and by having the washing machine picked up with in 48 hours. Everyone I talked to there was easy to work with and eager to meet my needs, their prices were the best I found, and the washing machine we rented was in excellent condition and worked like a champ--I was very pleased and impressed all the way around!

We have been working with E-Z Rental for the last year. We are renting to own a huge French door fridge, washer and dryer. When ever I have had a concern E-Z Rental has been quick to respond, helpful and very friendly! I highly recommend E-Z rental! For their great service, friendly staff and quick response time.

I have been a customer for EZ Rental for a year now. I have not had any problems with them nor with the unit we rented. Now were moving to a house and we re signed a lease with them. Rob, he has been very helpful from day 1that I contacted him. Everything has been a piece of cake. I will continue to do my business with them and will definitely be referring them.

EZ Rental was really great!!! They were quick to drop off our washer and dryer, which was in excellent condition and we never had a problem. The gentleman who came was very polite, and easily and quickly hooked everything up. They were also very honest about picking up our unit a few days earlier than we wanted just so we wouldn't be charged another month for just a few days of use. I 100% recommend them! We only stopped using them because of our move to the other side of the country

EZ Rental made it very easy for us to get our appliances, and remove them. They worked with our schedules in removing the appliances. Even when we had a set time to have them removed, they were more then willing to come whenever was convenient for us. They had excellent customer service on the phone, were very polite, and the entire process was very quick.The man who came to set them up and remove them took less then five minutes. It was very convenient for my husband and I, and I would recommend using them in the future!
