I have been going to Brothers' Automotive for over a decade and have only good things to say about the shop. Most importantly, the guys are honest and know what they are doing. Would wholeheartedly recommend the shop!
I first became acquainted with the Brothers back in 2009. I had taken my 2007 Chevy HHR to numerous (3) other mechanics and I was told something different about the noise under my hood from all three.
I was first attracted to Brother's Automotive by the simple fact they had like 4 or 5 bird cages in outside and out front of their establishment. The cages were full, I might add, with cockateels, parrots, parakeets and canaries. I had to pull in and find out about these guys and their birds.
I immediately forgot the birds when the youngest of the two brothers brought out a stethoscope and proceeded to listen to various areas of the engine. I forget exactly what ailed my Chevy but what he told me is pretty much what I had seriously considered before I had pulled in. The other three mechanics NEVER mentioned what Brothers had discovered nor did they use a stethoscope.
The icing on the cake was the bill. I couldn't believe how more than fair these guys are. I've since brought all my cars as well as my girlfriends to them at one point or another. I've even tipped them because I thought what they had charged was too low.
I've recommended them to any and all of my friends and strangers alike. Everyone that's has taken my advice thanked me later and concurred with my general description of The Brother's Automotive.
They are:
1. Honest. Very honest. (I trust them completely)
2. Fair prices almost to a fault.
3. They know what they are doing and do it well.
4. They are always on time. If they say it''ll be done by three o'clock. It might be 3:30.
You'll never regret employing The Brother's and meeting their birds. Bring a cracker or two and watch your fingers. A couple of the birds do like their necks scratched. Really.
UPDATE: Brother's Automotive is no longer in business. One of the brothers suffered a stroke and is unable to continue. I ran into the younger of the two and was saddened to hear the news. The younger is working another field totally unrelated to what they were both so good at, working as mechanics.
What a loss.
I’ve been coming here for a few years. What I like about this establishment is Gary takes his time to diagnose and figure out what is ACTUALLY wrong with the car. Him doing this has saved me a lot of money in the end and I thank them for that.
