We've been taking our vehicles to Good Works for a couple of years now, and it has been the best experience. Great quality, reasonable prices, friendly service and quick turn around times. Glen and his team are amazing!

Good Works is honestly such an amazing auto shop! We have taken 3 different vehicles we have owned over the years to them. They consistently deliver the best prices, excellent customer service, they are very transparent on what NEEDS works, what should be work soon and what’s still working well. I never feel pressured and they always make sure I am taken care of! Couldn’t ask for more!

As a single women in the valley, I had been bamboozled by 3 different shops. That led me to be very hesitant. I found Good Works Auto and saw the reviews and decided to have my car fixed. I met with Jennifer and felt comfortable. She was kind and listened and communicated very well. The other staff was amazing also. I got my car fixed and it ended it being 2 things that needed fixed instead of 1. Jennifer made sure I was aware and trusting. They even crunched a few numbers to make it fit my budget! The service here is absolutely outstanding. I worked with Angel to get my car’s lights fixed and repaired, and he demonstrated great communication and was very friendly. They offered shuttle rides to and from my work and the drivers/employees were also very nice. I am definitely going to recommend this service to my friends and family, felt like there was no red tape or any wasted opportunities with respect to my time and inquiries.

They are a great team with honest care for you and your automobile. They do full diagnostics , help you come up with an affordable plan for you to keep your vehicle reliable to its best potential. Hi I just wanted to let everyone know about my experience with Goodworks and their staff . I took my truck there for a alternator replacement and some electrical work . Everything was smooth and easy the whole way even though i was currently out of state at the time and just had my truck dropped off at the shop Angel was in touch with me the whole time and made things easier for me . Thanks Goodworks 100% recommended ( p.s Give Angel a raise haha)

Had a good experience with Good works. The team was really kind and helpful. Got a full synthetic oil change for $86. Cheapest place I was able to find anywhere, they took care of me and my car. Would recommend the visit

I've been going here a while, and I really do like it here. They are so friendly, accommodating, and understanding. Scheduling is super easy, and you can make your appointment online - which is so convenient. The service advisors are patient and take the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Really great shop.

Good Works has always gone above and beyond regarding their service. From my initial appointment with them for a simple oil change, where they did an in-depth inspection filled with photos and information regarding their findings. They even took me out to my car and physically showed me their concerns. Their no-pressure attitude to focus on an educational first mindset, where I could take that report and photos anywhere for service as I deemed fit, I knew they had my back. A few weeks later, I brought my car back for some solid maintenance work and to address two leaks previously found. I knew it was going to be an all-day situation with the amount of work required, and they even stayed well after closing to ensure all safety measures were addressed on my car so I could drive home with assurance. I will certainly not go anywhere else; they have me as a customer for as long as I'm in Tempe. Highly recommend!

The service that I requested was done well and timely. Inspection resulted in many needs for repair or maintenance and that is always good to know. Can plan to get that done little by little. Courteous and knowledgeable help.

Amazing family owned business! We’ve been taking our cars there for oil changes and basic maintenance for almost a year now and couldn’t be happier each time with their service. Jen is so sweet and her dad really helped us out when we ran something over that ended up busting a trim piece on our wheel well. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I did an engine cover reseal and an oil change. When they do the final bill, the service advisor -Angel does not explain what each charge is for, just a total amount. I found out after the fact that they charged me $30 for "shop supplies". They probably purchased shop supplies for the whole week and charged it to me. Furthermore, they originally had given me a ten percent discount on the first job but they never credited it to me either. They are sneaky at best by doing that. Also on a separate quote, I tested their honesty by taking my car in for an inspection of rubbing metal noise at low speeds, since I knew had new brakes and also new rotors replaced recently, I knew it was just the dust shield cover which was rubbing against one of the rotors. At another shop I had it done for a quarter of an hr labor and they said I almost got taken at Good Works Auto since they had diagnosed it as needing new rotors, new pads and a new CV axle which there was nothing wrong with it at a cost of over $1,500. They don't show you the actual car findings in the shop, they only show you a photo which doesn't mean anything because on a removed part you don't really know if the part belongs to your car anyway. Always get a second opinion and know your car in and out, keep a spreadsheet with all prior work done. With all the info available in YouTube, the consumer has better resources to avoid becoming a victim of any shop. Customer beware! Mechanics work on commission and service advisors too, so they look out only for themselves. A shop name with christian fish paraphernalia does not automatically mean it's both competent or honest. The other shop has all my business from now on. One last thing, Ian Hobratschk's review and comment about them laughing and mocking customers after they leave is true. When I was in their waiting room I heard them laughing about a lady attorney on her stating she knows a lot about her car, which she most likely did. I wonder what they said about me after I caught them red handed in the act of trying to do completely unnecessary repairs. I rest my case.

I got there at 0800 and they were absolutely wonderful I had a lot of issues and they worked through them and kept me updated through the whole process. The office banter was a delight, it’s was also really reasonable price the owner is a wonderful man as well. I was having issues with my card and they worked through it with me and drove me to an atm when they were working on my car. Just an all round great shop and I’ll be returning every block leave!!

When you find a professional, reputable, reasonably priced, honest car repair business, who backs up their work, hold onto them. I recently had an excellent experience with Angel at Good Works. I have two older cars, one is a luxury car, that required deep, high mileage maintenance and repair. I am a lifelong car restoration guy so I have a better than average understanding of car repairs and costs. And let's face the facts, inflation and tariffs have driven costs up more than any of us would like. Don't try to compare a reputable, professional shop with what you see for replacement parts on the internet. Angle was thorough in his recommendations, cost considerations, and above all, communication regarding the status and progress of the repairs. One could not hope for a more dedicated, honest representative of Good Works. My wife and I feel like we are now driving new, reliable cars. Thank you Angel.

Angel is the man. My car transmission failed on me. Funds are pretty tight as I have to pay for my last semester of college so even with the excellent price they gave me for a transmission change, I wasn’t able to afford it. They still gave me a discount on the diagnosis and overall the best experience I’ve had at a mechanic shop. Once I can save up a little more, I’ll be back.

I have been taking my cars to Good Works for over two years. They are honest and easy to work with. This facility does a comprehensive vehicle assessment, and they let you know what needs to be done now and what can wait. They offer a good warranty. I recommend them as trustworthy repair facility to have a long term business relationship with.

I initially talked to Jen, the office manager and she was so kind and so knowledgeable when I tried to explain what was wrong with my vehicle. The owner of Good Works, was so kind, he took time out of his afternoon right before a holiday to really look into my vehicle to figure out the problem. He treated me like a daughter and took special care of my truck. I am forever grateful for Good Works and their kind hearts.

My repair was not an easy one to diagnose. But it was correctly diagnosed. I admit I don.t like spending money but if you have a vehicle, it can cost a lot of money to fix it at times. It helps to have people you can trust working for you. The mechanics and staff at "Good Works" diagnosed the problem, showed me the problem and explained to me the plan for repair prior to working on it and showing me the bill. It is nice to have people you can trust.

I'm so impressed with this shop and their staff! I went in for an oil change using a Groupon and they still took great care of me and my car. They actually completed ALL the services included with the oil change AND did a thorough inspection (unlike other shops). Jennifer did a great job walking me through recommended services, which were broken down by urgency and whether the repair was based on inspection (with pictures for proof) or age/mileage. This is an important distinction because not all of the work that's been done on an old car like mine will show up on a Carfax report. Good Works has definitely earned my trust and future business - thank you!

Don’t waste your time and money . They will charge you so much inspection fee and after a week my aircon con is broken and they are charging me additional $600 as they didn’t see it from the inspection LOL what a joke . There 5 years warranty is a scam . Check their yelp latest reviews. I think their technicians either don’t know what they are doing or they found a new way to scam people . I feel like the other jobs they did if the basic aircon broke in a matter of a week

I had my oil changed at Good Works and was blown away by the level of service. Not only did they change my oil, but they also performed a full diagnostic analysis and rotated my tires — all without me even asking.
