Great customer service. Missed my appointment to pick up car due to unforseen problem on our 8hr drive to get there. They went ahead and loaded the car on the trailer, I know they didn't have to, as rules are rules, but I am deeply appreciative they did, as I would have had to leave the car there for a few weeks till I could get back to AZ to pick it up.
Loader was very helpful, weight distribution was off, so he took it off and flipped it around.
Very nice people.
Only complaint I have is for coparts phone system as a whole. Spent 30+mins getting transferred to differ yards all over the US. They could desperately use a operator that just transfers incoming calls.Feb 04, 2026 -
They listed the jeep as having 104,000 actual miles. I arrived there to pick it up and it has 204,000 actual miles on the title. Great. Got scammed out of another $5,000 by Copart as always

Must have memberships before car viewings which you do online or painstaking with their call center.
Even if you win a bid the seller can decline...oh and there will be "hidden fees".
Seems more like an entrepreneurial endeavor or mechanic specials rather than for general public bidding.
Also, bring your own safety jacket to save on an additional charge if you do get that far in the process.Dec 12, 2025 -
They need some type of system to call whose next. And get more chairs for customers to sit and wait. Get chairs for the customer conducting business instead of them standing and the employee sitting.

I bought a 2014 Jetta from phoenix, with ACTUAL listed 132k miles, the title came with 148k miles, I called the branch and they kept transferring me from call person to call person telling me to just make the car “not actual mileage” on the title/car.

I had

Do not buy from copart unless its a piece of crap you’re going to sell. They will have you win a bid just to hide the fees and put the fees in the invoice and by the time you realize the car is more than showed, they charge you $450 to get out of the bid. Theft. And the vehicle needs a new engine. Not a deal!

My experience with Copart was outstanding, and a big part of that was thanks to the excellent support I received from Lili, the manager who assisted me. From the very beginning, she was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely patient in guiding me through the process.
She took the time to answer all of my questions in detail and made sure I felt comfortable with each step, from bidding to final pickup. Lili went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly, and her friendly attitude made the entire experience much easier and more enjoyable.
The auction process itself was simple and well-organized, and the pickup was quick and hassle-free. Copart has a great system in place, and with managers like Lili leading with such care and professionalism, it truly makes a difference.

Today I was helped out in a big way by Gisela Guillem Ruiz at Copart Phoenix. She went out of her way to show me what I needed to provide for my insurance claim. Had a document notarized for me and made a copy of another document I needed. being that I have never had a collision like this before, she was a breath of fresh air doing all she could to make it easier for me. Thank you Gisela.!

You can find fair to good cars. High fees. And you can no longer drive the running cars out, even though I have a moving permit. So now you'll need a dolly or a tow service. I know there's liability but you bought and own the car, that should be optional at your own discretion. A waiver or whatever. Don't be unnecessarily strict. Most will need towed, but every car i have bought minus 3, I jump the battery right there and drive out. And it's never been a problem till now.

Terrible customer service specially the yard worker “Rigo“ who purposely refused to bring the car out. Left us in the heat waiting for hours. They have this stupid rule now that you need your own tow in order to release your car even if the car is run and drive. This has never happened anywhere else! This place is poorly manage copart needs to reevaluate their employees I will not purchase from this yard again!!! Oh and the only reason we had to pick it up is bc it had been 10+ days and no email on when the delivery would be made !!

My car was towed to Copart after an accident. I went there to retrieve some personal property items. After some confusion (someone kept moving the car to different locations within the lot) a delightful and very helpful young lady named Lillian took the initiative to go through the vehicle and retrieve much more than the 3 or 4 things that I had in mind! She filled a large shopping bag! She even had someone connect jumper cables to the battery to open the trunk!
Other office staff were friendly and made sure that I had a place to sit and cold water to drink, but it was Lillian who stepped up and got it done! If I could give Lillian 10 stars I'd do it!!!

I’m leaving a 5 star review for one reason. The online process of submitting paperwork is fine. The customer assistance over the phone is mediocre. However, the AGM, Lillian was by the most helpful person I’ve worked with in the entire process of dealing with my totaled vehicle and and title process. Huge shout to her and thank you.

Terrible service. They were exceedingly rude and enforce a new policy where you need to tow a car away even if it is run and drive. But conveniently they have tow trucks there - I genuinely think this is extortion, underhanded dealing. They also charge you additional hidden fees, like to make an appointment just to pick up the car.

Shout out to your team at your 21425 North 7th Avenue Phoenix Arizona facility !
We had a ------------- that was rear ended, and was deemed totaled. It ultimately ended up at your facility noted above.
A very belligerent woman came in, I had to step outside, opposed to listening/watching her. Granted, she was having a bad day, but it is not necessary to take it out on others and demand it be done her way.
Safety is key at Copart. This includes the lot as well as the office. Business as usual all around ... ergo, the kudos to everyone ! (special thanks to Sierra and Lillian)

It was my first time starting to get involved with auction's, submitted a bid on a SUV and thought after I declined the counter offer I figured the deal was over, two hours later the bid was accepted. Lillian was totally respectable and honest with any and all questions I had and worked with me dealing with a shipping broker that kept giving me the round about and after the second driver, I could feel I was getting strong armed.
Lillian completely understood and said that if I had secured a guaranteed date of removal she would work with me for the acquired lot fees. She answered all emails in a timely matter and called me back despite the time difference.
Customer service is far and between nowadays and Lillian went above and beyond to get everything sorted out as much as she could and did it fairly.Mar 28, 2025 -

This place is terribly managed compared to other yards I have been to. Cars that have engine or mechanical issues are listed as normal wear or minor dents. Bought a car listed as run and drive when I first turned it on the engine was shaking and turned out head gasket is blown. Lots of junk in here and I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this yard

They purchased a vehicle off me, the check they issued would not go thru. I tried to cash it the date it was issued and the date I should have been able to cash it that was written on itc .the bank said funds were not released. Spent money on has to get down to the bank that I won't be reimbursed for, as well as my time and effort and as of now I still don't know when I'll be able to cash this stupid check. Do not go thru this company if you have a vehicle to sell. I will update this review if things change or the check goes thru

Griselda at the front desk was amazing 10/10 but the lot guys said i couldnt even try to start the car or put a battery in it and i had to pay the guys waiting 150 to tow it across the street.....

I read the reviews here and was definitely nervous, but our experience was very pleasant. Danielle was attentive and very helpful. We needed to get some personal property from a wreck and the experience was very smooth.

Damaged my vehicle with forklift and won’t do anything about it would not even let me submit a claim. No one told me about this damage it was run and drive. Won’t drive with that damage.

Service is extremely slow they had us waiting in line for over 2 hours after arriving on time for our appointment. The office is small, there is no waiting lobby, they are understaffed and the few staff that they have decide to use there cellphones instead of attending customers. By far the worst place to go to for service

My experience here was excruciating. Once you find the highly unofficial (and unlabeled) little “office building”, they have you sign in virtually and exit the building to wait. Also, the waitlist link estimates a 5 minute wait time, but in reality they take at least an hour to get you in. Lastly, the only available restroom is a porta-potty. The entire situation gives little to no regard for customer service or respecting people’s time. :(
