I came looking for a couple parts for my vehicle. They did not have the parts I was after in their inventory but they gave me a list of vehicles I could go look at in their yard. I didn't find what I was after, and on my way back to my vehicle it was not where I parked it. Turns out they picked it up with their forklift and moved it to a back corner of their yard! Let alone they put it on a bunch of broken glass and nails. I went into their office and asked them why they moved it, and they stated they thought it was a delivery, they recieved a bunch of vehicles that day. They said it would probably be fine! As if any of them are qualified mechanics. I got one insincere "sorry". Keep in mind my vehicle is in pristine condition, not a single dent, new tires, runs and looks good etc. Not a junkyard delivery candidate at all. I'm not sure if they were trying to do something shady, or just pure stupidity.
Hilltop are professional and knowledgeable. Brian and Sam are great people. They have just about everything you will need, tho just know parts are hard to come by in Alaska. They will do their best to help you find everything from a Chevy to Toyota, but not always is it available up here. Just the perks of Alaska living

Really Really good place! I called them and asked for a back window on a friday, by monday they already had it pulled and ready for pick up, not to metion it only cost me 150! thank you guys!
Garbage customer service skills. The guy answering the phone needs a real attitude adjustment. Was told the part would be ready in the afternoon. Called to follow-up at 1:30pm the guy was really bothered that I had called him to see if the part had been pulled. He said he would actually call when it was pulled and never did. Lied that they are open until 6pm when I know that they close at 5pm. Total waste of time. Total male Karen.
They never have the parts you're looking for I've been dealing with Hilltop for 10 years and not one time have they ever had the part that I was looking for for any car I've ever called about and you know why because they're cheap and they can't make any money off of small parts the only thing you can get from them is probably an engineering transmission and they're way overpriced and they're not working order Hilltop is the worst recycling place in all of Alaska they should be shut down
Junkyards are a ripoff! The guy tried to charge me a 100$ for a piece of a part and I called orielly auto parts and the same part completed was only 54$ brand new! You guys can keep using junk yards, I know better now. They are very low vibrational people, similar but maybe worse than pawnshop people or even goodwill people. Total scammers!!!!
Bought a new bumper from them quality of it was pretty good there were a few miss imperfections in it but that’s to be expected, staff were also really nice will definitely come back for other stuff for my Mazda 3
These guys rocked it! I couldn’t find anyone who could get me the piece of glass I needed replaced. Not only did they find it, but removed it and shipped it all before the end of the week. When you have a broken window on your car speed is everything. Thank you Hilltop Recycling!

Great place can't believe I haven't been getting my parts from this family before. Great prices very busy but they Handel it very smoothly. They have been around for a long time. With their customer service they'll probably be around for btime to come
I needed to get my vehicle recycled and towed out of the repair shop within just a few days, so I reached out to them to see if they would be interested. Ben got in touch with me, gave me a quote, and scheduled the pickup within 48 hours. Once the vehicle was towed, signing over the title was quick and easy. I was very impressed with how seamless the whole process was and I highly recommend them if you need to recycle a vehicle!
This is a convenient place to recycle all those aluminum pans and some other items. I've bought a couple of like-new car jacks there; our kids have bought parts they've needed for vehicles. They about everything you could ever imagine, & the service is friendly.
The people that work there are very nice I got a flat tire on my way into Anchorage from wasilla and I didn't have enough money to get a used tire from them they wanted 50 but I only had 20 and they sold me the tire for the 20bi had and help me get back on the road
They were VERY helpful. They are efficient and know what they are doing. They treat you like you are important and payed a good price for our copper.
However, it doesn't look it's best. We were worried we might get a popped tire. They could clean up a little.
Tons of salvage parts available and their salvage vehicles are all organized well. The owner his wife are good people. I paid a very reasonable price for the part I needed. I'm going back for a windshield, bumper, etc. I 100% recommend them!
Great place to buy used parts, will do business with them again in the future even after they took longer than they told me but they made it up to me by giving me a discount for waiting so long, the five stars is for good business
Great place to get parts. One of their guys helped me install a part I picked up. Only took a few minutes but I didn't have the tools on me. Also very good prices.

The staff is friendly. I came from Anchorage once to pick up a part. I was running late because of traffic, so I called ahead. They waited about 5 min after closing time. Great job guys.
