I called EVERYWHERE- every Firestone location and they all were so surprised I was asking for someone to diagnose why my check engine light was on. Some people said it would take days to get a “technician to look at it”. I was super disappointed and felt hopeless. God willing I found John and he came out RIGHT AWAY and helped us fix our check engine light issue and was so amazing. Wonderful, amazing customer service that you don’t see very often. Chris was such a life saver today!! A shop tried to charge for $1,300 for a new battery, some leaks, and an oil change. He saved me so much time and money. It ended up being my starter which is what I initially assumed the problem was from the get until the shop told me otherwise. Was stranded out of state after a dinner engagement at 6:30 pm. in Huntsville, Al. Chris was a lifesaver. When my vehicles starter decided to die on a Sunday in a Target Parking lot, he was there to fix it quick. SUPER knowledgeable! I’m from out of town and my alternator went bad. From the time I called him to the time he was at my car ready to work was less then 45 min. He called and updated me on everything he was doing as far as buying the part, pricing and eta. He was honest and stayed true to his pricing. He gave me a quote at the beginning and stuck to it exactly! Literally cut my cost in half compared to a big corporate mechanic. Highly recommend!
Chris was amazing-- this was one of the most positive experiences I've had with a mechanic, ever. He listens to you, addresses the problem, and does a thorough job to make sure everything is taken care of. I called him out to help replace a battery when one of the terminals broke as I was exchanging the batteries myself, and he went the extra mile to check it with the voltameter after installing it and discovered that my alternator had been the thing draining my battery. Thanks to him, I got the alternator replaced that same day, too, and avoided a potential catastrophe (at the very least, I avoided instantly draining my new battery).

My car wouldn’t start for work this morning and I didn’t know what to do. It wasn’t a dead battery or anything, it was something the average person couldn’t diagnose. My wife looked up mobile mechanics and found Chris and sent it to me. I called him and he was with a client but immediately sent me a text saying he would call me back and did promptly. He was at my house within the hour on short notice. Realized it was the fuel pump less than 10 minutes upon arrival. He called the supply house and checked pricing. He went and picked up the part because I had no way to get it myself and came back and installed it like he does it 100 times a day. Tested everything and made sure it would start up and that there were no other issues. He also pointed out to me that I needed to get some new tires and took the time to show me how to read the manufactures date. He went out of his way to teach me what he could while he was here. His pricing was less than half of what someone else would have charged. Not only is he a great mechanic he is a genuinely good man and cares about your situation and understands the impact something like this has on someone. I can tell he enjoys doing his job not only for the monetary aspect, but more so for the ability to help others. As long as I am in the area and Chris is still doing his thing he will be the only one I car to work on my vehicle. 10 for 10 would recommend.
We are in Texas and our daughter is school in Alabama. She could not get her car started and we called Chris. He went out to the school to assess the problem and fixed it into the night. We called Chris because we needed someone local and reliable to fix my son's truck. We live out of state so we didn't know anyone in the area. Chris came out on Saturday and we thought he had the truck fixed. Less than 24 hours passed and the truck started leaking again and smoking. We called Chris back to let him know and he wanted pictures. We not only sent pictures, we sent a video as well. We have reached out to him several times with no response. This is my son's only means of transportation and he is a college athlete. I would not recommend this service to anyone. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Chris is one of a kind!! My alternator went out on me Monday morning. I searched around and no one could assist me ASAP! I found Chris via Google and read nothing but good reviews on him so I gave him a call. He came and tested it out and told me what I needed to do. It was raining on Monday so he couldn’t get to me until Tuesday. That was fine!

We are so grateful for Chris at Excellence Mobile repair. We needed a wheel bearing replaced on our travel trailer when we were headed home from a camping trip. Chris was thorough and knowledgeable. This is the best service I've ever received from a mechanic! I broke all 4 of my door handles due to the freezing weather and thought I wouldn't be able to make it to work by 4pm on Christmas Eve. I called Chris around 9am and by noon he had driven all over town to find parts and replaced and fixed all my door handles! NOBODY was available to help me on a Saturday, especially being Christmas Eve, but Chris went above and beyond! I had one door handle ordered through Advance Auto but it hadn't arrived by the time they quoted me, so Chris made a few calls and drove around Huntsville until he found 4 new handles for me! He could've charged for all 4 plus his time but he was able to fix one without replacing it. He even gave me a few free tips for future reference. Overall, the price he charged was VERY reasonable considering the circumstances. I'm so impressed and thankful he was willing to help me out like he did! I will be calling him if I ever have another issue with my vehicle. He outdid Santa this year! I'd give 10 stars if I could! Thanks Chris!
I highly, highly recommend using Chris, my truck has been down for three days- I have replaced $1000 worth of parts to figure out why my truck wasn’t getting any spark after running just fine before I had my master cylinder changed. Within 20 minutes- Chris was able to find the problem and it was my distributor cap wire harness plug had been broke some how. He diagnosed the issue, he gave me some recommendations, and he was efficient and affordable- and was able to come to me within a hour of service call. Will 10/10 use Chris again for any of my mechanic, on call needs.
Thank you again Chris for helping me find the issue after 2 days of searching for loose wires, replacing my battery, my coil, coil wire, sparks, ignition module, master cylinder, spark plug wires, and having two other people who have a background in cars searching for the problem, obviously we looked closer to the master cylinder because that’s what was replaced, but Chris was more thorough and found the culprit. Thanks to Chris, I have my specialty part ordered and have soldered my current wires until my new part shows up- and because of his diagnosis, thoroughness, rapid response time, I am on the road again.
