I messed up the rear brake calipers on our 2018 Toyota Camry. Trying to change the pads. Called mobile mechanic for help. Needed new calipers. Had to rent a car and wait until the following weekend. No brake pressure. Waited another week to have the front calipers replaced. Still no brake pressure. Waited another week to have the master cylinder replaced. No brake pressure. I’m now out $3,800 for mechanic and rental car. Had car towed to Midas Brakes in Meridianville certified mechanics. They fixed the car in four hours. Rear brake calipers were put on the wrong side. Also needed to replace the new brake pads. As they were covered in brake fluid from an hour and a half of brake bleeding. This damages brake pads. And yes, the calipers will fit on the wrong side. The issue is location of the bleeder valve. It must be at the top. Otherwise the caliper will have an air pocket and not bleed properly. Causing no brake pressure. Feel free to Google that. You will see I’m correct. Probably didn’t need half the items replaced if calipers had been put on properly. Look elsewhere for your mechanical needs.
Spent $85 and just sprayed carb cleaner through throttle body, didn’t even fix the issue I asked to be checked out… what did spraying carb cleaner have to do with asking to check out my fuel inlet pipe sensor

Came out to look at my car when I was stranded in Ardmore. Diagnosed the problem very quickly, replaced the part I needed right there on the spot. Even turned back around after leaving to give me further advice. Great service and communication. I will absolutely call H&H again if having car troubles near Huntsville.
He came and looked at my daughter’s car. He was professional and when we told him what was wrong he immediately knew what part to replace. He was able to purchase the part and replace it the same day. That was about a week ago and so far her car has not had anymore issues. We will definitely be using him again.

Had issues with self-replacing my valve cover gasket. For someone new to fixing things on a car, being stuck on a plug that was deep in my bay became a major problem. I left a message with H&H and they got back to me later in the day (makes sense very busy), but they came out later in the day and were very helpful. They walked me through pulling out the parts i needed to pull out to get to the plug, next morning i was able to do it all myself. They even offered to do a video call the next day if i got stuck. Very kind, professional, insightful, and supportive of self-help and learning how to fix the problem. 85.00 for the visit with a cheap cost for like 30 min of work. Fixing my cover via taking it to a place was like 675-1000.... I did it for 200.00 and learned a fair bit. 11/10 recommend H&H. TIP: Leave a message and text their number, if they dont get to you right away, i promise they will.

Quick to respond and come out to diagnose my Jeep! I broke down near Scottsboro and had my vehicle towed to my house. Because I didn’t want to tow it again, I thought I’d give H&H a try. They were super responsive and accommodating to my slightly changing schedule. Reasonable prices and not pushy at all after giving me a quote.

We were traveling visiting family in Fayetteville and as we were waiving goodbye to leave and travel to North Carolina, our Suburban just stop working on a Sunday morning. We called H&H and they immediately picked up the phone and were here within a timely matter and fixed our vechile. He made sure issues were resolved and repeatedly check our vechile that it was good before leaving (since he knew we were traveling a long distance). I would recommend H&H 100% to anyone with car troubles in the area. I did not feel I received adequate service for the diagnostic I paid for and after a conversation with the owner of the company, the boss himself came out and gave me a full diagnostic of the car with many details and much knowledge to go off and he definitely knows his stuff! From there, I was confident in his answer on why the car wouldn't start and I was able to find a solution.
I read the reviews and got my hopes up. I am a UPS delivery driver. I get home between 8-11 almost every night. I had bad experiences with the name brand mechanics close to my house. Most notably, was Mavis telling my I had to have a rack and pinion replaced ($2100 after a $300 discount for not getting my car ready when promised, which then made me take the rest of my days off, that I was saving). I went back a few days later because the steering issue was worse so they changed a hose for free and that fixed that. The only thing I had to go off of to tell me I wasn’t scammed was the man who changed it told me it needed to be done. The manager quit in the days I had picked it up and brought it back…. All of this to give you an idea of why I had to choose H&H. He was mobile and almost all places open on weekends are name brand places I lost hope in. Plus, it’s my transmission, no guarantee I can drive it somewhere and make it all the way.
1st call, “dispatch” failed to give my message to “management” with all of my car information and personal address.
2nd call, “Mr Logan” answered and assured me everything would be ok and got my info again. He would be there that evening or next morning, day after at worst. He was finishing up with a truck and I was next on the list he says…
3rd call, after Mr. Logan didn’t show up (and I left my car unlocked with keys in it). Got “dispatch” again and when I told him who I was, he repeated back totally incorrect information about by make and model of car as well as my zip code. He would then send my issue of mechanic failing to show up to management….
Mr. Logan called me back. Said he was under the weather, would be there the next day. Weather permitting.
So now, it’s been 2 weeks. Mr Logan has never shown up. I left my car unlocked with the keys in it for a week while I worked 10-13 hours days while I drove a beater thats about to fall apart itself.
I would just like to say I really wish my car would have at least been looked at. I had high hopes for Mr. Logan and told him how glad I was he was available to help me. All I have to go on is my experience and how I was treated. It seems like a scam. “Dispatch” is extremely irresponsible. They talk to you like a scammer. Like someone trying to fake an American accent. Mr Logan 100% lying to me multiple times is a level of unprofessionalism I have yet to experience until now. I was with CVS for 15 years as a manager, before UPS, so I know about customer service. I never write reviews, but I felt the need in this instance, just because of how badly I needed his help and there is no other way to put it than he just completely lied to me. More than once. With my luck, I can’t believe someone didn’t steal my car in the week he talked me into leaving it like that… I wish I could have written a great review about how he helped me and saved me from paying $1000’s more. I truly wish that was the case, because it would mean we both helped each other, which is how this is supposed to go.
My experience alone… the absolute worst. He didn’t even show up. I can’t believe the reviews theyhad gotten already, which led to me choosing H&H over anyone else. Lesson learned…..
Just beware and don’t get your hopes up.

just want to share how amazing this company is and how good people get the job done efficiently and right. We are new the Huntsville area and we were having some minor issues with our 2018 Colorado. What tried a battery considering all the signs where that the battery had died and couldn’t hold a charge. We called H and H repair because it was a little after 7 at night and not all mobile mechanics are 24hrs. The men who arrived for the service call were very efficient in time. These men showed up in about 15-20 minutes from initial call. Once on scene they did a very in depth look of the truck from the battery to the starter down to the wiring. Checking all points of contact where it could have been something else other than the starter. These men went above and beyond my expectations for checking the truck and trying to get us home. Unfortunately it was the starter and it had to be ordered. Considering we called last night and had them come out it hasn’t even been more than 15 hours since we reached out to them and they had already replaced the part and got the truck up and running. I can’t thank these kind and hardworking men enough. They are true hero’s of the road. I will be telling everyone who ever needs help with their vehicle from small to large to call H&H. They did more than enough and helped us out tremendously.
My vehicle is a rare car called a Tiffany and I needed a good mechanic to repair a steering problem. The car could not be safely driven so H&H Mobile Repair Services came to my home and did an indepth analysis of the mechanical issue. Then, after determining the best cause of action ordered the necessary parts to rectify the problem. The parts arrived, they contacted me and we set an appointment for them to come back to the house. You could not ask for a more conscientious group of guys. The work done was professional and accurate. The car is now able to be safely driven again. I don't let just anybody work on my car, but H&H will always be welcome at my home.
