My experience with Precision Towing & Recovery was extremely disappointing and honestly heartbreaking.
This bus is a dream project of mine—something I’ve invested countless hours, money, and passion into. I trusted this company to perform what should have been a straightforward tow, and instead I was left with damage that wasn’t there beforehand and additional repairs I now have to deal with.
During the tow, the driveshaft was disconnected and the yoke was damaged. When I brought the issue to their attention, I was told they could repair it—but only for additional money. After I pushed back on that, I was told they no longer wanted to help because of my “attitude.”
Mark was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the process.
I’m posting this so the next person can make an informed decision before trusting this company with their vehicle. What should have been a simple tow turned into damage, excuses, and additional costs that never should have existed in the first place.
To make matters worse, the tow alone was over $800, and after the damage that followed, the repair costs felt like they were going to cost me my left arm and right leg. What should have been a straightforward tow turned into an expensive and completely avoidable situation. On top of that im missing a impact drill that was in the back of the bus, I have yet to discuss this with the owner. Im suspecting that he will deny and give more excuses. Since that is all he knows how too do. Such poor customer service.
Should also look at all of his 1 star reviews, not the first or second time someone is missing something simple. I'll be posting more pictures later.

To clarify, at no point in my review did I misrepresent whether this was a customer-requested tow or a police-ordered impound. That was never the issue, nor was it the basis of my review.
My review is based on how I was treated, how my vehicle was handled, and the events that followed while my bus was in your possession.
Whether someone is a paying customer, dealing with an impound, or simply trying to recover their property, every person deserves to be treated with professionalism, respect, and basic human decency.
I have video footage, photos, and repair documentation from the night of the tow that document the driveshaft removal process, the handling of my vehicle, the driveshaft being dropped during removal, and the condition of the damaged and incorrect hardware returned to me afterward. I also had to bring in outside mechanical assistance before my bus could be safely returned to service.
The owner’s public response only reinforces why I felt it was important to share my experience. If sharing documented facts helps someone else know what to expect or ask better questions before trusting their vehicle to a company, then speaking up was worth it.
This bus is a major personal investment and project of mine, and I stand by my documented firsthand. Which takes time too verify if equipment is missing or not.
I would also formally ask whether the full security footage from the day and night my vehicle was stored in your impound lot has been preserved.
I have reason to believe property may be missing from inside my vehicle following its time in your possession, and for that reason I am requesting that any surveillance footage, lot access records, employee access logs, and any other documentation related to my vehicle during its storage be retained and made available if needed.
This is not an accusation, it is a request for transparency and preservation of evidence while legitimate concerns regarding my vehicle, its condition, and missing property are being addressed.
As I’ve stated, I have my own photos, videos, documentation, and timeline from this incident, and I intend to let the facts speak for themselves.
I recently had my car towed away as part of a donation to a nonprofit organization. I was contacted by phone about the pickup time, and the truck showed up on time. The two employees, Shawn and Cole, were very efficient and professional. The car needed a jump, and then one of them drove it out the driveway, and loaded it up. Whole process was very simple and precise! Happy to give them a very positive review!
Persission Towing was over the top with their service they provided. There driver Beau was friendly and speedy with what we needed and was very helpful when we ran into unforseen problems with the lock out .Thanks for your prompt and friendly service..
Horrible experience NEVER COME TO THIS COMPANY, I’ve never seen more attitude in any other place than here in the employees. They made everything very complicated. I got my car towed and took 2.5 hours to get it back very unnecessarily. Employee with the blonde hair specifically was extremely rude. Reading the reviews I double checked my car towed see if anything was missing because they took too long to give me my car back.
The shop I bought my BMW from sent Precision Towing to get my car for repairs. I was not home at the time of the pick up. I accidently forgot a battery charger and long extension cord on the vehicle. When I got home from work, my extension cord was neatly wrapped and stowed out of the snow, my battery charger was also neatly wrapped and put on my porch by the driver. This is a benchmark of professionalism. USE THESE GUYS !
I had a team both individuals were kind and professional. It was a difficult tow and they both were excellent! Got me out with no damage and price was great. Appreciated them both!
Called on a random Thursday and they were here within minutes. Lots of things were wonky with my car, but they helped me get to the bottom of it. Very kind and knowledgeable and quick!
Precision towing took possession of my vehicle after an accident,when I was finally able to access my vehicle I discovered a lot of items missing from my truck including some of my prescription medications,my Delong co hat Milwaukee Bucks hat and my led flashlight I'm sure there's more but that's all for now. Highly Recommend!! Fast, friendly, comfortable - They saved our night. Our car lost power on I 94 headed west right before Madison. We were pulled off to the shoulder on a very cold night this weekend and it felt like a bit of a dangerous and scary situation. King showed up w his tow truck quickly, loaded the car up safely, got myself, my wife & my daughter into his cab for warmth and comfort & gave us a friendly tow and ride 20 minutes to our hotel. All around a pleasant experience that myself and my family are very greatful for. Thanks King! You're the best! Appreciate you & highly recommend!
King and Matt were amazing. From the time they arrived until they left with my vehicle, they were professional and demonstrated exceptional knowledge of recovery operations. King is clearly a great trainer and night supervisor. Matt quickly loaded my vehicle without any issues. Both were very friendly. The entire operation was 10 minutes. Great job, guys! I've never needed a tow/tire service before, but Precision has made me a customer for life. Mark answered my call early in the morning and he had King dispatched to me in a timely manner. I later found that King had been working since noon the day before and it was almost 8am. Still, he was kind, professional, and worked quickly! Mark and King went above and beyond to service a new customer and they certainly deserve more than my thanks and appreciation. I would leave more stars if I could. I only give the truth when I give reviews. Listen, when I tell you this is the worst tow company in Madison, believe me. I started off calling Precisions to make sure I have everything needed to get my items out of MY vehicle ( plus it’s a 30m drive there and back). Mind you I wasn’t driving the vehicle or had access to it when it was towed. Someone else did but it’s my car. I went Precisions to get my items out (8:20am) and Marcus the short mini buff guy gave me so much sass and said that my car wasn’t registered to me. After going back and forth about my car that doesn’t belong to him, I called the police. When the police got there, I noticed another guy standing around (who wasn’t brown skinned) and I asked if I could see his documents. The guy showed me his documents and it was the same documents I had for proof of ownership! Doesn’t surprise me, I knew he was attacking me because of the color of my skin. The kind officer gave the proof of ownership to the zesty tow man and he looked incredibly stupid in the face. The poor officer had to waste his time because the owner is all muscle and no brain. However, Marcus went back into the office to take care of the paperwork, but before he handles my paperwork he takes cares of another customer knowing I was late for work. No I didn’t get an apology from Marcus or the gentleman that ran into their cubicles. The treatment I received awful, but I’m glad the law was in my side today. This is the worst place ever!

We had an unfortunate breakdown this past weekend—our alternator gave out while towing our 24-foot pontoon boat. Thankfully, it didn’t happen on a major road; we were able to safely pull off onto a side road near a gas station. My daughter was involved in an accident on the interstate recently. King and his rig were there promptly and he was able to assist with quickly getting my daughter and her vehicle off the busy interstate. During the short drive to the Precision Towing yard he explained how the insurance process would work to my daughter and upon my arrival King was a heck of a nice guy and patient while answering all my questions and I felt he did a great job!
After one of our vehicles was recently stolen and recovered by the police, our insurance company assured us that they would dispatch a tow truck within the hour, but they kept pushing the time back and it eventually got pushed to the next day! I cancelled the request from our insurance company and decided to give Precision a call, which was the right choice! My call was promptly answered and I was provided with an approximate wait time of less than one hour. The driver, King, arrived right on time and was helpful, courteous, and genuine from the start. He took the time to hear was was going on and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I felt like I was in good hands throughout the entire process and would highly recommend Precision!!
Mark was there in a flash to help me! I went into a small drainage ditch on my first day of school 6:19 am. He was there as soon as the sheriff's called and I was in school by 7:07. Only 7 minutes late when the whole thing could have been a horrible ordeal. Unbelievably grateful.
